Positive experience: Nice barbershop and good haircut. However, I’d like to see clear sanitation of tools/clippers after each customer. Hygiene matters.

Negative experience: Worst haircut in 70 years never listen to my instructions

Fantastic experience: The barbers are old school, as much scissors and comb as cordless trimmers. They take great care, even with my bald man's fringe. I've seen some very contemporary styles done while waiting.

Negative experience: Worst haircut I’ve ever had. Asked for a fade, the guy just shaved my head. The top, uneven. I have to go to a real barber to fix it.

Negative experience: With haircuts it's important to follow instructions. Unfortunately they didn't follow instructions regarding length and basically gave me a military buzz cut. Also I can see the steps between clipper guards on the side of my head.

Fantastic experience: This is a great and reliable spot for haircuts. They're also open on weekends and the price is very reasonable for the amount of care and effort that they provide for each customer. Yasin in particular is excellent!

I feel great and love the cut. All at greet price! I might have to come over monthly from mainland for my hairs cuts from now on!

Negative experience: I don’t know if it was a language barrier or what, but I asked for 3 on the sides and an inch off the top, and the guy shaved way up past on the sides where I showed him to go, and he took off way more than an inch. I dunno if he though a wanted a Mohawk or longer bangs or something weird. I’ve had some good haircuts there but this is one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever got. I wear glasses so I don’t have them on when I’m getting cut and it’s hard to tell what’s being done, and the final product when I put my glasses on was disappointing to say the least.

Negative experience: Very nice people. However, the hair cut I got was not normal compared to other salons I go to. For example, the barber used the “thinning” scissors on my already thinning hair on top of my head he also took the fade all the up to the top of my head, so be sure to tell them “fade halfway” now I look like a and the English wasn’t the greatest to be honest which is probably the most important thing I look for because a simple miscommunication can completely alter the appearance. Now I ll wait 6 weeks to regrow my hair.

Fantastic experience: Military, senior and kids discount. But also a very affordable mens cut at $26 for a walk in. Great team, always happy and phenomenal work. Noel is a gem! Thank you for a great cut.

Negative experience: I’ve been twice for a haircut. Both times I said - I’m growing my hair long on top, so just give me a fade, and even the top out if needed, but again, I’m growing it long, so not much. Both times he cut my hair short. Way too short. So. Won’t be going there again.

Negative experience: I went in, explained I wanted 2 c.m. off, marked with my fingers the desired length of my cut. Partway through my hair was exactly as I asked it... Then the barber kept going. He snipped my bangs (when pulled straight) from the bridge of my nose to the middle of my forehead. I let him make the cut even so that I wouldn't look completely atrocious, BUT HE THEN RETURNED TO MY BANGS AND I HAD TO TELL HIM TO STOP. I won't look normal for at least a month and half. Thank God I'm moving out of Victoria. Can't believe I paid for this crap

Negative experience: Don't go near this place, this is not the Cliff's of a few years ago. The young guy with long hair is horrible, cut was uneven, missed a patch of hair on my neck, no attention to detail at all, spent the entire time watching soccer...save yourself some money and just cut your own hair at home with a butter knife, you'll get the same result.

Negative experience: I went here twice in the last 6 months, and both times, barbers didn't listen and decided to give me a haircut nowhere near what I asked for. This time this young barber was to invested into a soccer game on TV and chatting about it to properly cut my hair and decided to shave the entire back of my head after being told "don't cut the back too short" and would have almost cut all the hair off the top of my head too if I didn't tell him to leave it alone. Please do better and leave the TVs alone when you have customers... I now need to restart on growing my hair and definitely will not be going back here

Fantastic experience: Love going to Cliffs. You go in, wait your turn, tell them what you want and then just sit in silence until they are done. Pretty quick and efficient and reasonably priced as well. I am sure if you like to make small talk they will but, it's a great place if you just want to be quiet and get your hair cut..

Negative experience: I got a skin fade here, the haircut wasn't too bad. Although the guy cutting my hair was the least bit gentle. He proceeded to man handle my head and bang into it with his clippers, as though he was hammering nails. Not coming back.

Negative experience: Hot shave. Razor was very dull and shave was not close. Missed spots and neck is completely mangled. Did not use trimmer to shorten at beginning either. Had to go home and shave again. Experience and result was poor all around.

Fantastic experience: Needed a cut, and visited Cliff's on recommendation from a friend. Wadi COMPLETLY blew away any expectations. Best haircut I've ever received! Can't recommend them enough. Cash only but there is a fee free ATM in store.

Negative experience: Impatient while not knowing the language. Inspite of picture etc, my hair looks ridiculous. Not knowing the language is just fine, that's why I had plenty of pictures. He was dismissive and quite rude.

Fantastic experience: I have visited Cliff's for a number of haircuts now. Im always greeted with a smile and a hello and I usually only wait about 5 to 10 minutes until it's my turn as a walk-in. I've been given 3 separate wonderful haircuts here and the price is extremely fair for the quality of work! I 100% would recommend this barbershop for all your gentleman's hair needs!

Negative experience: It's an awkward place where no conversations happen, the barbers seem genuinely in a huge rush or to have a weird contempt for the customer. My haircut was uneven, the barber smelled terribly, one sideburn on my head was at an angle, the other was dead flat, he shaved the entire back of my head and used scissors after a shaver on top, so I ended up with a weird fuzzy haircut. I guess I'm happy I only paid $24 but the fact that the barbers all had bad haircuts themselves should have been a give away. Won't be going back.

Negative experience: The haircut was okay - not quite what I wanted or expected, but good enough. The owner's responses to my review (and subsequent edits) have been unprofessional and insulting. Not going back to a place that tries to gaslight honesty

Negative experience: I hate to give 5* as they are getting busy all ready. But I have to. Fantastic service and best cuts in town. Edit. I’m have been going here for over a year now. There is one barber who I go to every time. I always call a head to make sure he is working. At least 10 times now I have been told by others that he is there and when I get there he is not working, or I have been told exactly opposite days when he is actually working. He is hands down the best barber in the shop and I think others in the shop are trying to screw him over. Today was last time I I go in to this shop.

Positive experience: They offer drop in appointments only which can be handy. It’s a busy shop. Reasonably priced and the barber did a good job on my husbands cut.

Fantastic experience: I've had two haircuts by Victor and have to say they are the best haircuts I've ever had. That was validated by friends/family who were really impressed with Victor's work as well. Especially for the price. I'll be back. Negative experience: I'd avoid this place. Asked the barber for the '95 Leo cut and he gave me the hardcore frontman special. Very disappointed as I wanted to look like fly not like I two step for a living

Negative experience: I went to this barber shop early today and requested a very simple 1.5 fade and a beard shaping for a beard that I had been growing for years. The barber did the haircut carelessly and fast only concerned about getting it done quickly and not the finished product. It was an okay haircut at best. For my beard he asked if I wanted it long or short and I requested that he just shape my beard and not cut it too much. No joke, he took probably 85% of the beard off and the finished product he left me with is uneven and looks horrible. I’ve never ever refused to pay for a service in my life but this was a first for me. Extremely disappointed. 0/10.

Positive experience: Friendly barbers but this last visit constituted the 2nd time my son showed a photo to the barber and the same barber cut it at least an inch too short. Can't justify returning at this point.

Fantastic experience: After years of laughably bad haircuts at the likes of supercuts, magic hair, etc... I finally stumbled into this place.. Classic barber like the name says, friendly, full service (even a straight razor on the back of the neck!), and to top it off, it was only 24 bucks!

Positive experience: Always had a great haircut here by the 3 older gentlemen. Went there yesterday with a friend to get our hair cut and made the mistake of letting this younger kid cut our hair. He didn't listen to what we wanted and gave us both an awful haircut. Would've been 5 stars if not for that.
