Positive experience: I’m not gonna lie, bro give me a nice cut, but My job requires me to have my phone out and my hand was kinda leaning over the chair and I guess he’s talking about something like “you nut checked me” shaking his head at me and whole time buddy never once said to keep my hand inside for it to not happen. Still left that goofy ahh a 11 dollar tip purely for the quality of the cut cause he’s a barber and that’s it. Get some manners dawg

Fantastic experience: I received a shave and a sideburns trim. The barber (men with white beard) spent extra time getting the socks and crannies. I left perfumed and dapper

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience on February 14th. I called ahead to confirm that both of my sons could get haircuts and was told yes. When we arrived, Bruce immediately started cutting my oldest son’s hair while I was signing both boys in. Another barber walked in and asked if my 2-year-old needed a cut. I declined at the moment because I assumed Bruce would take care of both boys, as that’s why I called ahead. After finishing my first son’s haircut, Bruce then said he couldn’t cut my younger son’s hair. This was confusing and frustrating because when the other barber asked earlier, Bruce could have simply communicated or allowed him to take my second son. Instead, nothing was said, and my time was wasted. On top of that, the website clearly lists haircuts for children 11 and under as $16. Bruce stated he had never been on the website and charged me $18. While $2 may not seem like much to some, as a single mom who normally pays $32 total for both of my boys here, it matters. Clear pricing should match what’s advertised. Because of the lack of communication, inconsistent pricing, and overall experience, my younger son was unable to get his haircut. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I couldn't even get a receipt! Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Negative experience: I brought my son in for his very first haircut—he’s a year and a half old. When I arrived, I sat and waited for about 15 minutes. One of the barbers eventually asked if I needed a cut, and I told him I was there for my son’s first haircut. He said I needed to write my son’s name on the board, then asked what I was looking for. I explained that I wanted the sides and the back shortened and was hoping for his opinion on the top since this was my son’s first haircut and I wasn’t exactly sure what to ask for. He mentioned that since my son is a child, he would probably move around a lot, which I completely understood. I told him this was our first visit and that I was mainly hoping for guidance and a positive first experience. Instead, the interaction made me feel like my child was too young to be there or didn’t really need a haircut. He suggested keeping it the same length all around, and I again explained that I definitely wanted the sides and back trimmed but was unsure about the rest and was looking for his professional opinion. Overall, I felt like I was more of a bother than a customer, and there wasn’t much courtesy given to the fact that this was my child’s first haircut—or my first time in a barbershop as a single mom. After that conversation, I decided to just leave as at that .3 other people had already came in after me and were being assisted prior to me Due to me, not knowing we had to sign a sign in sheet. The experience made me feel like they didn’t want to help simply because of my son’s age And I couldn’t tell them exactly verbatim what I wanted because again he’s never had his haircut before nor have I ever been in a barbershop before. I loaded my son back into the car and searched Google Maps for the next closest barbershop, which was only 0.2 miles away. It was called Barcelona’s Barbershop, and the experience there was completely different. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Jose was incredibly kind and treated both my son and me wonderfully. He did a great job on my son’s haircut, and we will definitely be returning to Barcelona’s moving forward, where we feel comfortable and truly welcomed.

Fantastic experience: Forrest is great! He always takes care of my family's hair and keeps them looking sharp.

Negative experience: The service at night has gotten really bad. I started going about 6 years ago because late night cuts are convenient and at a discount but the last 2 times were the worst. It’s cool that the price is lower after 10pm but the quality of cut really sucks. I will NEVER go back. I’d rather pay $50 for a haircut than waste $20 for a messed up haircut!!

Negative experience: I have had nothing but a bad experience every time I go to Sully’s I told myself I wasn’t gonna go back. Haven’t been there about six months. My son needs emergency haircuts. I figured I’d run over there and get him a cut we go there first we call. They tell us that there’s no wait we get there after they ask for my son‘s name and it ain’t even on the board. We put his name on the board then they put my sons name some other name trying to spell it, but when we walk in, nobody speaks to us everybody walks around like they mad at each other. No welcome to sullys or anything that place is trash they need to get a manager and learn how to work them dudes because they don’t know how to do shit I’m done with Sally’s. I’m really done with it. I don’t recommend anybody go there. They’re so disrespectful and unprofessional. It ain’t funny. It is there.

Negative experience: This is the grossest and least professional barber I've EVER visited. The bathroom had PISS ALL OVER THE FLOOR!!! ... DISGUSTING! Also I called in 70 minutes before showing up... what they didn't tell me is they erase your name after an hour - so I ended up waiting 90 minutes, just ridiculous.

He took his time, dialed in every detail and made the fade clean. If you want someone who actually cares about the way you walk out of the shop, go to Aries!

Fantastic experience: My last visit to a barber was in May of this year. Due to personal and extenuating circumstances regarding my 60+ hour a week work schedule and college, to say the least, I was due for a much needed trim. I called ahead of time to check in on short notice, Sully’s Barbershop took me in with arms wide open and offered me a seat in the chair. The aura and culture of this space by far is unmatched. despite how I came in, the staff and fellow clientele made an effort to talk to me and get to know me. This was powerful and meaningful to me. For the first time in a while, I felt welcome, valued, and accepted. my barber gave me the best haircut I have gotten since I was 13, and at the time of writing this review I am currently 23. My barber took extra time and attention based on the reference photo I gave him, and by the end of the session, another friendly barber complimented his work, as well as me. I came in needing an emergency airlift to the nearest available barber, and left being told, “you look distinguished.” I would recommend Sully’s to anyone looking for an excellent service, paired with a positive and friendly environment. Thank you, this experience was priceless. :)

Fantastic experience: Amazing haircut from Thomas. He listened to what I need and made it happen without judgement. This place is open from 6am-Midnight and i couldn’t believe it till I came in at around almost 8pm when everywhere else closed at the latest 7pm. They are true to their word about hours, service, and their prices are amazing only $18 for a regular cut. Haircut plus tip so still less than what other big ego barber shops charge which is like $60 plus tip almost $100 no thanks for hair that’s gonna grow back quick. Thank you Sully’s for being original and for the people and thank you Thomas for the amazing experience giving me the cut my head needed. I told you to do what was best and you did it appreciate it!!!

Negative experience: Let me start by saying I absolutely love how my son’s haircut turned out. My sons have been coming here since my oldest, who’s now almost 21, was about 7. So this place has been a long-time spot for us. But unfortunately, I will not be returning. First, the cut was $23. I handed the barber $40, planning to get my change so I could leave at least a $10 tip. Instead, he pocketed the entire $40, said “thank you” with a smirk, and told me to have a nice day. That was not only presumptuous but felt like being bullied into a $17 tip. As a single mother, I don’t appreciate someone assuming I can or should overtip—especially when the service didn’t match that kind of generosity. Then came the part that upset me even more. After my son was finished with his haircut, a Michael Jackson song came on and he was happily dancing by himself. The barber looked at him and said, “Don’t have ants in your pants next time.” The tone and disrespect were unnecessary, especially toward a child. I explained that my son is on the spectrum, and instead of showing any understanding, the barber looked at me like it was my problem. I’ve cut my son’s hair myself for over a year, and this was his first time back in a shop—he handled it so well and didn’t deserve to be spoken to like that. Great cut or not, respect and customer service matter. And sadly, we won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: At first I wasn’t sure if this was the barber shop for me but the gentleman with the headphones cut my hair exactly how I wanted it! Their prices are great and they have generous discounts for military veterans, teachers, firefighters, and cops. Love it! I will definitely come back again.

Positive experience: Haircut for the price is ok. The hours are very convenient for everyone. The only problem I have is that I wished they would clean their equipments before you start your Haircut. Chairs are covered in hair and even though they see it but they don't bother to clean it up. Other than that everything is ok.

Negative experience: There a old man who sits by the door cutting hair. He has white hair. I went in to get my son a hair cut he's about to turn two. This was his third hair cut. My son doesn't move or nothing very good. The old man barber was grabbing on my son's head hard and getting frustrated. I asked him to please not grab my son's head like that and tje guy started arguing with me. I stayed quit and he continued to try and argue with me. He stopped the cut mid way and said he can't do it. I never met a barber that stops a hair cut in mid way. A kids hair cut with that. Left my son with cuts on his ear a messed up line in the back and a half hair cut. Please nobody dont go to this barber shop the customer service there is horrible. I had to take my son to other barber to fix his hair.

Negative experience: Called to ask a simple question. To see if they accept tap to pay. Woman on the phone was extremely rude with attitude. Prices are fair but I will just pay extra money and drive out of my way to not deal with the attitude. Will not recommend.

Fantastic experience: These guys were able to let me walk-in and definitely hooked me up after I went to THREE other barber shops in the area that wouldn’t take me at 8am!!! Dude in the first chair did a great fade! Give these guys a chance…. It’s worth!

Fantastic experience: What a cool little barber shop. It's got a cozy feel with classic decorations. The prices are great too! Go early on Mondays if you want the special (6am-8am) ($13). The Barbers there pay attention to what you want, and they deliver a haircut that makes you walk out the door with confidence. It's my new favorite spot!

Negative experience: I was stupid excited to get my kids hair cut here ! The man showed little to no want in cutting my kids hair . I let him know it works best for him to sit w me , he’s a kid and that’s how kids get use to haircuts . I also mentioned I just wanted something quick and clean , he really didnt have to do too much detail - and we tip good after every hair cut ! If he’s not sitting on his own ITS TOO MUCH for him . What a disappointment .

Fantastic experience: The best barber shop i’ve been to in a while. Just a bunch of cool dudes doing careful, attentive work in a low-key setting. The energy is just good in there. i asked for a simple cut, gave minimal guidance, and was very satisfied with the result. If I lived in town I’d probably be getting more haircuts than i needed just to keep going there.

Negative experience: i went to take my son in to get a hair cut and honestly the barber shop itself isn’t clean and the chairs are out dated. kindly left after being told they only take cash.

Negative experience: They close at 3 went in at 2:15 to get a cut and they told me no. Took a Lyft and everything. DO NOT COME HERE. They were rude to me and everything.

Fantastic experience: I am visiting from Flagstaff and went to Sully's on 01/29/2025 at approximately 5 PM. No wait for a barber. Great haircut, great price, and very pleased with the service provided. I will definitely be back in the future for a haircut and a shave!

Negative experience: This would be 0 stars if Google allowed it. I walked in clear and simple asking for an inch of the top and clean up of the sides and my barber proceeded to cut almost 3 inches of the top without any measurement or care and fade the sides. Never had a worse experience in a barber shop and he should be fired.

Negative experience: This place is ridiculous and yes after reading all the reviews and comments they do make you feel unwanted and like they have preferences! Just take appt only if you want to make people feel unwanted having a 2 hour wait is crazy ! I’m sure Some of the barbers are amazing but this is unacceptable and maybe people continue to come because of the prices but I’ll just learn to cut hair to avoid this nonsense! Negative experience: Unfortunately the other 1 star reviews are accurate, upon my bfs experience here he witnessed that the barbers pick and choose which customers they wanted to serve and cut first, regardless of how long he'd been waiting or the order of the names on the waiting list! if one of their more regular clients walk in they will service them right away instead of you, so be aware of that, he said also one of the barbers walked in the front door of the shop with a cigar sparked and smoking in his mouth, and put it out on his way inside the shop leaving smoke and bad smelling cigar fumes everywhere around the customers inside ... very unprofessional establishment, so I would choose to cut your hair elsewhere.

Positive experience: It's usually very good, but it has been more inconsistent of late, especially with newer barbers. My haircut is considered basic like when you go to basic training short on sides barely anything on top. The inexperience and quality shows. I usually tip 20$ on top of haircut($40ish) if they do at least an 8/10. So far the barbers are so mid they have no soul and it sad. Just make it through the day. If you need a mid/average/basic/ souless/subpar/ barely friendly/ hair cut open 6am - midnight this is your spot. Also don't take the first guy that pretends he will clean you up. Sometimes they are new and trash giving prison haircuts. Just wait for the guy that you see there the most often. If you don't want food comming out of your mouth the barbers need to step up to take my $40. Otherwise it's $20

Fantastic experience: Bruce saved the day! I went somewhere else (I won't say where but it's a common franchise) and they destroyed my beard I've had for many years. Bruce worked some magic and was able to save what he could and I am grateful. I've never been to Ashley's before but honestly I liked the vibe. I stood out like a sore thumb but nobody cared. I'll definitely be back. Thank you Bruce.

Fantastic experience: So I obviously don't get my hair cut here and to be completely honest my husband Vic is a barber at Sully's but that isn't the reason why I am giving it such a high rating or writing this review. The reason behind my review is to let anyone who is looking for an affordable shop with barbers who know what they're doing should definitely come and check out Sully's. Every barber here brings something different to the table and they all have their own unique styles in cutting. They all love what they do and definitely care about making sure you leave feeling confident and looking your best. If you want to have a good laugh and make a few connections while getting cut and don't mind occasional debate between the crew then please do yourself a favor and check out Sully's. Ohh and they're open from 6am to midnight 7 days a week and closed on specified holidays.

Fantastic experience: Had a great shave and haircut from Bruce. I was extremely pleased with the attention to detail and care that sometimes gets forgotten by people that are in the customer service industry. Fantastic experience: Professional and great value. 5 years of living on the west side after living in Mesa and I still go here. The prices cannot be beaten. I've been to at least 3 barbers in the west valley that charge twice as much as Sully's and to me it's not worth 50 bucks for a beard trim and fade. But at Sully's it's just 18 bones and they always do a good job that I tip well and still come under 50 dollars. In my opinion Sully's is an institution once that makes me drive the 45 minutes from Peoria to Mesa every month. A good tip is to call ahead and put your name on the board that way when you show up you'll be in line for a quick cut.

Negative experience: Just left... Bad vibe... Trust me. You know, when you're not welcome. Didn't greet me at all, when I came in. 4 barbers. No nothing. I figured out, the sign in process, for myself. That said... I'LL wait for a Petco coupon, before I EVER go back. Then... I'LL get my nails trimmed as a bonus...

Negative experience: Went for a low fade and a couple inches off the top. The barber didn’t use any comb to measure how much he cut, he just cut willy nilly. Asked for a low fade and he DOES NOT FADE OF MY HAIR and leaves what’s looks like a triangle on the back of my head. Didn’t offer a mirror to check my haircut after he finished. How embarrassing this was to me and everybody I used to recommend this barber to. Will NOT be at this establishment ever AGAIN!

Negative experience: They have this one barber in the shop I have seen him at night, everytime I'm there he has his headphones on and ignores the clients. He is rude, then after every cut he goes outside for a break knowing people have been waiting to get cut. I don't know why he works there if he don't even really work and is rude and ignores clients. He makes me want to find another shop, if it wasn't for the prices. The manager owner whoever really needs to get rid of him.

The barber Victor M makes sure all his customers are taken care of and looking good before they leave. He takes his time to ensure that before you do. Fantastic experience: Been going to Sully's for over 10 years for classic barber cuts. Vick Martinez is the real deal with his artistic approach and detail to his work. The whole crew offers a range of specialities that I wouldn't sleep on, I'll always recommend Sully's.

Negative experience: Don’t take kids here. I took my son to get a haircut and waited 30 minutes for them to tell me they don’t feel like doing kids hair. Also the man was extremely rude. My son does still have fears of getting a haircut. They make you feel like you don’t belong there

Fantastic experience: I took my son there for a haircut and they got him in right away and the cut came out just how he wanted it. So, I decided to try it out for myself and they were great. Laid back feeling and the barber took my simple instructions and gave me a great cut. I'm used to the chain store salons, but this was a WAY better experience.

Negative experience: It’s unbelievable that some of these people have a barbers license. You can’t get ahold of the owner due to all the complaints. Should sell the place to someone who knows how to run a barber shop. White dude with a beard is the only person I got a decent Cut from. Someone’s begging people to leave good reviews because this place should be permanently closed.. I’ll give it until 2024 unless Sully is rich haha

Fantastic experience: I always love coming to this shop, barbers are amazing, skilled and treat my kids great. I’ve been coming here for years, the extended hours are much appreciated for a busy mom like myself. My kids always leave with clean cuts and for the price .. hands down the best barber shop in the East Valley! Thank you too the gentleman tonight (Aries, Bruce and Shafar) who kept the conversation going to keep my little ones awake why they got fresh (last minute) back-to-school haircuts. Fantastic experience: Victor is awesome! He's my go-to barber. Never rushes and takes his time to get my haircut right. Gives great recommendations on how to improve or change up the style. Highly recommend asking for him. Shop is clean and very reasonably priced.

Negative experience: They act like if they was in highschool, Hanging up the phone on people, Taking forever in cutting someone’s hair, They don’t stop talking and once they do, They always have to “get something From outside” Or “hold up I need to take this call” They don’t take this job seriously, It’s sad. I’ll buy this place myself and Make them work fast, and if not they should be dismissed.

Fantastic experience: If you are in need of a barber that no matter what kind of hair you got nor how nappy your hair is . Ask for Vic when heading inside .He will Make sure you leave with a good haircut and a good laugh as well ! Hands down he is very dedicated to his line of work when it comes to art so take this review into real consideration. And I can reassure that because I’ve Been going getting my haircuts done by vic for the past years , and he has never let me down.

Fantastic experience: Depending on the Time of day, it can get busy so make sure you call ahead and put your name on the board so your in line ahead of time. They are also one the very few barber shops in the area that are 24 hrs so you are able to get a cut literally anytime you want!

Negative experience: Worst cut of my life. Asked for a low fade, and they gave me a high fade on one side and mid faded on the other and left hair on top much longer on one side than the other. Not at all what I asked for and not even close to a decent cut. Avoid this place at all costs

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for years and forest always takes care of me but he definitely needs a new chair . Damn every time I get up out his chair my back hurts. Hopefully sully can get it fix ASAP!!!

Negative experience: We used to come to this shop all the time, we come in wait wasn't to bad like it used to be, the lady barber calls my Nephew up I ask for a comb over with the hard line part and bald fade on sides, she does the cut quick maybe 10-15 minutes total maybe and 1st I notice the part is not straight at all and the sides were not even bald so I point these 2 things out to her she gets a attitude telling me that it is bald it's clearly not bald on sides and she tells me how long she's been cutting hair and all of this extra stuff I've gotten my nephews cut like this before it's never looked like this so I take it as a loss I hand her a 20$ and we leave I will definitely never come back here again I would avoid others to do same or avoid the Female barber if getting a cut here
