Fantastic experience: I was having a bad day until I decided to walk into Royal Fadez Barbershop. Chico Fuentes came up to me with good energy and had me leaving not only fresh, but with a different perspective of my day

Negative experience: To the owner of this place, today I had to waitallost 2 hours to get a simple hair cut. Yes. We didn't have an appointment but so many others didn't have an appointment neither, but as long as you have your buddy working their or or you know someone working there then you are all good. They are not organized as who comes in first or who comes with appointment. There was a lady that came with No appointment and I was already waiting there so she left because it was too busy and 30 min or so she came back and went straight to a guy to ask him to cut her son his hair cut and they guy did. So we waited patiently until someone noticed that we had waited for a long time. Anyhow, we will definitely take our business elsewhere where we are a knowledge and where we are taking care according and more fairly.

Fantastic experience: Bunch of nice young kids that can cut hair real good. My son loves going here.

Negative experience: Highly disappointing. I took my son for a haircut, and it felt like the shop was staffed entirely by newly graduated barbers. The person cutting his hair clearly lacked experience, and the result was messy. Charging $30 for this level of novice work is unacceptable. I would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing barbershop. Been coming here for about 5+ years and I actually get scared whenever I have to go to another barber shop when I'm traveling or something because I know they're not going to do as good a job as Royal Fades. Everyone in here is extremely talented I'm especially thankful for Fernando who's been taken care of my cuts all these years and doing an amazing job! It's hard to find someone who knows how to cut curly hair properly but he is a PRO! Every time I come in here it's also very diverse I see the whole crew cutting a diverse range of hair textures and thickness and styles all the way from the straightest hair to 4C/Coily hair. Everyone always leaves their chair looking great.

Negative experience: Came in as a walk in for a simple taper and trim on the top. I left with a high and tight fade on the sides and taper on the back with hair still long on the top. Somehow he thought that was an acceptable haircut. I tried to explain that to the barber that he was cutting too much off the sides for a taper but he didn’t want to listen. He obviously has no idea to blend. Also, completely rushed the haircut for no reason. The other barbers gave great cuts. I wasn’t so lucky today. Now I have to go home and try to make this weird mess look decent.

Fantastic experience: Betto is a very nice guy and he always makes sure I’m taken care of when I walk in. Skin fade and line-up look clean and he takes his time to make it look extra professional. I recommend this place to all of my friends and those who live in the valley as well.

Negative experience: First time and last time. The cut was doable. I am for certain that my son’s barber did not clean or oil his clippers sufficiently prior to servicing my child. My 9yr old son after his bday party, that same night broke out with these white thick puss, filled razor bumps along the sides, nape the perimeter of his head. My son is young so he doesn’t understand yet but it’s bad. We have been treating it. I clipper cut my son’s hair and never has he broke out like that.

Fantastic experience: Place is legit stop wasting your time with these barbers who have no clew these guys all no what they are doing . Jose kills it and actually takes his time making you look fresh. As I observed the rest of the barbers they all took time and actually know how to do a proper taper, fade and line up I'll never go anywhere else again

Negative experience: I don’t usually write any reviews and especially not bad ones, but I have to sadly do so today. I Mistakenly went for a walk in to this place because my usual barber was booked out and I needed a haircut asap. To my credit I saw that most reviews were very positive, so I thought I’d struck gold. Asked the only barber who was available (since the rest were busy) for a low taper on the sides and to round the back (no fade or taper) and he proceeded to do the complete opposite and give me a taper on the back. Showed him a reference photo in which the front of the hair was the textured fringe sort of haircut and guess what he did. Gave me what looks like an Edgar cut which was not what I asked for at all. Everything also felt very rushed and he did not take his time which just goes to show. When I mentioned it to him he showed me the reference photo which doesn’t even match with what I had done and he kinda got annoyed even though he was to blame. Overall the haircut looks decent if you drink a couple pints and the price wasn’t too outrageous but it isn’t at all what I wanted or asked for and mind you I repeated myself on what I wanted atleast 3 times over. So moral of the story is DO NOT EVER CHEAT ON YOUR BARBER! I’m disappointed because of how many ppl have said this barbershop is great, and maybe it is but I just happened to get the bottom of the barrel this time, but I unfortunately won’t be coming here again because of that reason

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience today for the second time. the guy was literally on his phone the whole time. They do not listen to what the customer wants. Also when we asked him to fix what we did not like he wanted to charge us twice. I had been bring my sons here but will be looking for a new place. It’s expensive and services are not good quality.

Fantastic experience: Joel did a great job on my son's hair! I'm glad we made an appointment because the place was hopping on a Thursday afternoon. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and professional. I was looking around and checking out everyone's haircut and I was so amazed at how incredible these men were at their craft. My 14 yr old, who's always been apprehensive about getting his hair cut, said he will only go to Joel from now on.

Positive experience: I tried to cut my hair myself but didn't do so great, but got the majority of it done. I came here for a fix up. Needed a line up, skin shave for the fade, and get rid of any bulkiness at the top + a blend in for the sides. I missed my appointment with my regular barber and hardley go anywhere else. The dued who cut my hair seemed like he knew what he was doing, but kinda got careless towards the end n kinda cut it however. Now I got to wait till it grows out to get it evened up, but dued used the close shaver for the bottom half, somewhat got rid of the bulk for the top half but still some loose hairs that needed trimmed on the side. Got a bubble boy haircut for a while, which is alright. Also got charged 30 even though I didn't have a full set of hair that needed cutting, n I tipped the dued 10 to be curtious. Shop is toward the end of the building area, past the tattoo shop, door has blue, white n red paint on the side of the door so u know where to enter if the door isn't open. I usually tip better if they do better. Would post pics but it grown out some and not trying to give the wrong impression for this place, just need barbers that want to cut hair and give a reasonable price for reasonable effort.

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best haircut I've ever received. I was fighting back tears of joy and the feeling to break down in happiness. Ever since I got a really bad haircut at great clips I've been very wary of where to get my hair cut at but lord almighty I just found my new barber, the vibe in this barber is unlike any, I had an appointment for 9:30 but I was seated and got my haircut sooner, 10/10 service and I'd recommend for a life changing haircut.

Negative experience: Got the worst “low fade” of my life here. Think his name was Ryan, they’re cool people just not good barbers, plus they charging $40 to ruin your hair.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, until the barbers are prohibited from smoking; I will not bring my son here. Vaping or using electronic pens while cutting a customer's hair is UNACCEPTABLE. Is there no pride in making this place look nice on the inside?

Fantastic experience: Ryan is insanely talented his free hand designs are on a different level not to mention his advice on cuts and different types of hair he works on I’m naturally straight and flat hair and his texturing was able to give me the wavy look I desired bro is truly gifted.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to the surrounding area, and had been barber shopping, and let me tell you, I’m so lucky to run into this one right here, as soon as I walked in I was greeted by the people working there, the environment was so inviting, the barber who cut me was David C, and he did such a great job cutting my hair, taking his time, I asked him to cut my hair a particular way and he did just that. There’s no exaggeration when I say he most likely the best barber here in Chandler. As long as I’m here I’ll be coming to him, and their awesome shop!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this barbershop for less than a year, and I can guarantee you the five stars people have been leaving at this place is not an exaggeration. All barbers that I have scheduled for (David, Joel, Alex) have done a phenomenal job with precision, and will talk with you and make things easy if you don't necessarily have an idea on what you want at the time. Outstanding.

Negative experience: Service really depends on who you get so highly recommend NOT doing walk-in’s/ randos. I believe my fave is David, who does a good job. On the occasions where I went with randos, I either get: 1. not so good haircut, and/ or 2. an actual cut to my skin. Didn’t catch the gentleman in red pants who gave me a literal fade but you can see his work in the pictures. The scraggly result is AFTER I asked for a touchup on the spot as his “taper” didn’t cut it on first pass. I’ll try another barbershop unless I can get David for sure.

Fantastic experience: Great place for boys and men to get a cut. David is my sons barber, he is a master with the blade and clipers. Always gets my sons designs crisp with something new every time. His fades are clean with the upmost attention to detail. Everyone customer I've seen walk out has clean crisp cuts from all the barbers in the shop. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: As soon as I walked in I was greeted amongst quite a few barbers. Gabe got up and asked if I was a walk-in. I was a walk-in and was in the chair immediately. This was my first time to this shop and was very impressed with the customer service. I was very pleased with my hair cut. Gabe really took the time to give me a great cut and edging up my beard. I would highly recommend this barbers shop.

Negative experience: THEY DO NOT CUT BLACK HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!1Terrible!!! I had scheduled my haircut with one the barbers ( I was really excited to try this place out) and I showed up 5 min late and they said they could not take me?? What kind of BARBER SHOP DOES THAT! I ended up calling this other barbershop called "The Cut Barbershop" and they took me....even though they were getting ready to close.

Positive experience: I've been here 5 times. I took a different barber every time. 4 times, despite the high prices, these guys had me looking perfect. However, the last time I went, I git a kid who seemed new. He f***** me up! Another barber tried to save his bad work, but ultimately failed... In short, you've gotta know who you're getting here when you walk-in.

Fantastic experience: Always amazing- I have thick/curly(type 3) hair I used to be the superclips kinda guy since it was cheap but they messed me up way too many times. These guys will take care of you. I don't even really have a favorite barber because literally all of them are great at royal fadez and very talented! They definitiley have alot of love and care in their work.

Negative experience: I love this barber shop and have gotten several haircuts from here in the past. I made an appt with junior for 8am and he asked to reschedule at 9 which was fine with me. As I’m driving to the shop I recieve a message stating he can’t be there on time. I already had to rearrange my schedule and then this happened and wasted a ton of my time. This is completely unprofessional behavior. Sure you’ll get a good cut, but you’ll also receive horrible customer service. I’d highly recommend checking out other shops!

No matter where i move in AZ in the future, I will drive here for a fresh cut. they're open late and I've had a cut by like 6 different barbers, Jose and Robert are my go to guys but everyone so far is blessed with some serious barber skills. All my LA folks that done had bad experiences with non black barbers cutting black hair, fear no more , these dudes get down.

Negative experience: I went in for a shave and a haircut, and was assaulted. My jawline is different on both sides, both in length and width. My mustache comes off of my septum at different angles, and extends out to different points on my cheek. My neck line is crooked. And Homie cut me with the clippers, on my ear. I posted pictures to google, I don’t know what the rules are for barbers that super Duper mess your head up, but this is so bad, I am really having a hard time looking in the mirror without wanting to have a reaction. Better check the licenses of the people cutting your hair here

Every time he gives me a super clean fade and sharp lineup. He always gets me what I’m asking for. Fantastic experience: I will definitely be coming back! Service was absolutely amazing and the guy that did my hair (louis) was so polite and did an amazing job. Louis did what no other barber has done for me. The cut was clean. I am definitely gonna be a regular from now on!

Fantastic experience: The barber there have good videos and really good passion about cutting hair. Every time I’ve been there joe has never disappointed me. I’ve never had a bad experience with the barber or being there and it’s worth the time and wait if you do walks but I would recommend to book an appointment on their site
