Hab did things I didn't even know I needed done. For instance, he touched up my bushy eyebrows and exfoliated my skin before a straight razor shave. I'm very picky with my barber shops and V's made me excited to find my new home here in Tempe. See y'all in a few weeks!

After years of horrific experiences around the valley, I gave this V's Barbershop a shot and met Cesar. To call Cesar an "excellent barber" is a huge understatement. His consistency, charm and knack to remember even my smallest of preferences to how I like my trims is impressive and keeps me coming back every month. His experience and skill far exceed my expectations and the compliments I receive are proof of that. After nearly a year of getting my hair cut here, my partner now asks me, "are you going to see Cesar soon?" If that isn't the sign of a great barber, I don't know what is. This location is clean and convenient. Prices are fair. They're flexible with scheduling. And they have Cesar.

Negative experience: They butchered my hair, ignored the photos I showed them, and just started chopping off the top hair on my head without even asking how much I wanted off the top, the side skim fade I wanted with the V taper in the back that I even showed pictures of just looks like a sportsclips haircut I could have gotten for $12, and they even took my natural part I have on the left side of my head that they can clearly see and just buzzed everything on both sides and shifted the whole part over, I had my appointment scheduled at 6:30 and they close at 7 I think the guy was just trying to get me out of there and everyone else except for the cleaning lady was gone, so it seems like he was half-assing my hair cut so he could go home, but I was on time to my appointment and the website offered that time, why offer it if it's an inconvenient time to start at? I don't understand, I tipped $15 to be courteous, because I didn't get the best look at it until I got home, but when I got home my heart absolutely shrank and all my confidence went out the window and I have an interview next week and now I have hair like I'm a 10 year old boy who got his haircut from sportsclips, I have no idea what the guys name was but I know he was to the first station left of the door as soon as you walk in. Normally I get my haircut from the barber there named Axel who always does an amazing job, but this visit I forgot to book it with him and I am so sad now that I didn't because I am SOOOOO disappointed with this hair cut and I will NEVER go back there again, The day this happend was. . . April 28th 2025

Negative experience: Been siting waiting for an appointment I scheduled at 2:45 it’s already 30mins later. And I’m still sitting here. There are time slots for 3,3:15 and so on so why make it an option especially considering there’s been 2 walk ins that got in a chair before me. Not sure about anyone else but I scheduled it so I WASNT wasting all day waiting around.

Positive experience: V’s is a great shop. Staff is always friendly, courteous, & professional. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location because of the property mgmt and ownership on the watermark complex. I recurse to pay for parking when I’m patronizing the on site businesses. Especially when they have blocked off the free handicapped spots. I’m a disabled senior. This is unacceptable. I addition I was double charged for my parking. I’m so sorry for V’s. They deserve better property management.

Fantastic experience: My son got a low taper fade and it was exactly how he wanted with a tiny trim on top. He is very very picky so to get what he wants he loves that. We typically go to a barber near southern and extension and always have a looooong wait, but this place made it easy to make an appointment online and they stuck to the time. Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: High fade cut 33$ best in valley imo. I've sat with over 20 barbers in Phoenix and Axel does one of the best high fade cuts I've had. Close attention to detail, very sharp eye, great at reading when you want to talk and when you want to chill, and an excellent neck massage at the end if he doesn't have any customers behind you. Can't recommend enough.

Negative experience: I have booked appointments twice, and on both occasions, they have failed to honor the scheduled time. I was asked to arrive an hour early and then made to wait an additional 30 minutes. No estimate was provided for the wait time.

Negative experience: Showed up at 8:55am for my 9:00am appointment, no one there and lights off. Lady walked up at 9:02am and unlocked door and walked in. I gave her a few minutes to turn the lights on and get open. I walked in and said my name and that my appointment is for 9:00am. She asked me to take a seat and they would be right with me. 9:15am - yelling from across the entire place "would you like to wait for your preferred barber or would you like to come back right now?" By now - I have zero confidence in her ability to do anything, so I politely decline and am headed to THE BOARDROOM. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: My first experience with V's was a great one. After years of going to a "salon" for a quick cut, I thought I'd do something different. I loved the masculine feel when I entered the shop. Leather, brick, sports on TV, good music. My stylist, Amy, was very good. The best was yet to come, though. Amy brought out the hot towel for my face and neck. Then, I got a shoulder and neck massage for about 2 minutes. Wow, you had me at hello... I left feeling and looking great. I will certainly go back.

Negative experience: Made an appt for 9am a few days prior. Arrive at 0855 with the shop locked up, one employee arrives at 0905, after getting place open and lights on asks if I have an appt. Looks up the info and says my barber should be here soon?. So it 10 min after the appt time , and no barber.. this place is unprofessional and lost my business

Fantastic experience: Cesar is the man! I travel for work, and have been moving around the country for the last 3.5 years. I can confidently say that I have never found a more well-rounded barber. Cesar has crazy skill with the clippers, and always lines me up with immaculate fades. I’m pretty picky about how I like my hair, and at first he took time to listen then executed the cut perfectly based on my description and a photo or two. Since the first visit, he remembered exactly how I like my hair cut and treated me right ever since. Cesar can read a person really well- he could tell that on the days when I came in wiped after a night shift, that I wasn’t going to be very chatty and respected that. But on days when I stopped by with the energy, he was a great communicator and would remember details from conversations months prior. Cesar is a very charismatic guy, and I would recommend booking with him if you’re looking for a smooth fade, beard line-up/shave, attention to detail, professionalism, and a kind hearted easy going guy to take care of you. Also to note- V’s Tempe at the Watermark is in a very nice area right next to Tempe Lake. There are restaurants, shops, and a beautiful walking path around the lake in immediate proximity. The shop is fresh and clean, and check all of the boxes to pass the vibe check (mostly good music and sports/movies to watch). The one time I really needed a cut and had to walk-in without an appointment (Cesar wasn’t available), the staff accommodated me and I walked out more than satisfied. Their online booking process is smooth, and gives you the option to pay in person or ahead of time which is a really convenient option to offer. All-in-all, I would highly recommend this barbershop and specifically my man Cesar to anyone in the Phoenix area. There were plenty of barbershops closer to where I was living, but would drive over 45 minutes to see this barber wizard every couple weeks. Work has taken me to a different state now, and I’m back on the hunt for a barber(shop) this elite.

( ive only gotten one haircut woithout him an that's because he hadn't started growing hair yet) we have been to three different V's locations and am happy with all 3. I will continue this tradition with V's until my son decides he's too cool to hang out with his old man.

Negative experience: Was pretty stoked to try this place out I had been passing by for a bit and finally decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately as soon as I walked in the vibe was off from almost everyone in there, I got paired up with a nice lady in the far back corner. She had her ear pods in so if I said anything about the cut during the process she had to stop and take them out..... She also cut herself pretty bad right from the beginning which was kinda crazy, in the end the cut was not good or even and had it fixed elsewhere. I just paid and will never go back Vs, looks cool from the outside though that's a plus.

Negative experience: Vs is my favorite barber shop. Sergio is world class as well as a most barbers in there. All but one. I had to use a different barber today due to timing. The cut was not done well at all. Beard looks worse than ever as well. No attention to detail. I like vs because of the precision. My barber today was not Precise and acted like I was disrupting them from their day.

Fantastic experience: READ MINE FIRST. Pay no attention to people who whine about a barber taking a break before his next client or not being greeted like chic fil A or Dutch brothers. It's a BARBER shop. Not a coffee bar. Neither are a1 star reason. That's maybe a 4 star.l rating. People are always so tough online. Sergio went above and beyond for me and still made his appointment. His 20 years of experience really came threw, as I'm not one to know styles or nomenclature of the business. Class act shop! All were friendly and you'll be taken care of.

Negative experience: I had a 4:30 p.m. appointment on Saturday, 11/4/23. My assigned barber finished his customer about 4:15 p.m. and stood outside talking with a friend until 4:35 p.m. when I walked out. The host or scheduler seemed reluctant to give me the manager's name and contact information. When I pressed him for contact information for "Marty," he shrugged and said, he was "just Ian," as if there was nothing he could do about the barber talking outside.

Negative experience: The Barbershop's lack of adherence to their schedule was quite frustrating. Despite having an appointment, I ended up waiting multiple times when I scheduled with someone besides my regular barber. It’s frustrating seeing them fit someone else in for your appointment time. I drive 35 min for these appointments. There seems to be a lack of Professionalism. After years of coming here it’s definitely changed. Will not be returning.

Negative experience: Got there a couple of minutes after the 7 min tardy for appointments. They couldn’t even accept the appointment even though the barber wasn't done with the customer. Barber finished 15 mins past our appointment time. It would be different if the barber was just waiting for us. But it seems we have to wait on them.

Positive experience: Hab was good very meticulous when giving a haircut. He engages with his customers and offers suggestions for his new and existing clients. When I am in Phoenix again, Hab will be my go-to barber!!! I had to make a small change due to the fact that I asked for a fade and ended up with a high and tight.
