Fantastic experience: My boyfriend and I stopped by as a walk-in and Derrick took him in immediately. We have been on the hunt for a new shop for him to go to locally and this will definitely be his go-to. Derrick did an amazing job on his haircut, and extremely detailed in his work. We appreciate the mini consultation before to really understand what my boyfriend was looking for. I am extremely pleased with his haircut, and ladies you know how much a great haircut matters lol. Fantastic experience: First time visit today; coming off of a bad streak of cuts from another barber. Asked for what I needed; the cut and style that was asked for; was delivered as promised. But one key factor; Derek went above my expectations by taking his time. This is huge to me. You could not ask for more. Great services are included as part of the cost. You truly do get what you pay for. Add to everything; I was a walk-in; and they still took excellent care and didn’t miss a beat. Customer service was professional and there wasn’t that normal judgy feel you get when walking into a new place. A+ and will be back for sure. Ty!

Negative experience: The haircut was great but the shave was terrible. Inexperienced with a straight razor. I left with a bunch of nicks on my face. And they charged an additional $10 for that pathetic razor work. What's worse is that I had to come back home and shave again. No idea how they have such high reviews.

As we progressed she’d stop and ask if this was what I was looking for. EXCELLENT!! Great cut Audrie!

Negative experience: Overall friendly barbers, clean place, and fair prices. Unfortunately the haircuts didnt stand up to the rest. Had to fix many areas once I got home and will likely need another haircut in a day or 2 once it grows out. It’s very hard to find a good barber in east valley.

Fantastic experience: I discovered Rooster's Men's Grooming Center through my brother. My brother is very picky about his hair, and he said that Rooster's does a great job whenever he gets a haircut. Because of that, I decided to try it for myself. The staff there are friendly and welcoming. They also know what they are doing as well. Usually, I just get simple haircuts whenever I need one. Every time they have done a great job with my hair. While I did not see the owner the most recent time I visited, I did meet him during one of my prior visits, and he is a fantastic guy. I made sure to thank him for making it all possible. I also like the decor of the shop. A nice modern take on a classic barbershop. They also have a seating area while you wait for your turn. I like the location of the place. Not only is it not too far from where I live, but they also have a Sprouts and other assorted shops and restaurants in the complex. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an excellent barbershop.

Fantastic experience: I talked to the owner Matt and he told me about his place. Him and his team are super friendly, welcoming, proficient, and the list can go on. My mom used to cut my hair for the longest time because she was a hair dresser for many years but been trying to find someone that was acknowledged and passioned like she was. Haven't found anyone worth going back until Matt told me to come by his shop! Marshay cut my hair and even suggested ways to help my hair grow and not grow the way that I would end up looking the way I wanted hair to look. Highly recommend Scooters and can never go back to another haircut place again! Go check them out and suggest going online yo set up an appointment! Worth it all!

Fantastic experience: I visited Roosters three times. The first time I was very happy, but the next two times were disappointing. The cost includes a hot towel and a massaging shampoo, which I did not get the second or third times. So I went in looking for a great experience and left feeling disappointed and like I did not get what I paid for. I left direct feedback to Roosters both times but never heard back, so I will continue my search to find a place that delivers the services that I pay for. Update: the salon owner reached out to me to hear about my appointment experience. He promised that things would get better. I’ve now been back half a dozen times and things are great. The new manager is attentive and thorough. This has become the salon I’ve been looking for!

Negative experience: First time here. Not impressed. Place was completely empty except for the woman who cut my hair - JoJo. So she had to take calls during my cut. She had trouble standing and moving because of an injured leg so she hurried the cut. She was friendly, but she didn't ask if I wanted any styling product in my hair and she didn't thank me for my tip. And I had to come back a couple minutes later because she messed up the front which had to be touched up. Would not recommend her. If I go back, I will ask for the stylist I was expecting to find there - the former manager. *UPDATE* THIS HAS BECOME THE WORST HAIRCUT EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! THE OWNER MATT OFFERED ME A REDO WITH A DIFFERENT STYLIST BECAUSE MY FIRST CUT WAS SO BAD. I RUSHED FROM THE HOSPITAL WHERE MY MOTHER IS DYING TO BE ON TIME FOR MY APPT. THE STYLIST MARSHAY NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED ME OR APOLOGIZED FOR HER RUNNING LATE. I STAYED 20 MINUTES PAST MY APPT. TIME LISTENING TO THE BLARING RAP MUSIC BUT SHE WAS STILL WORKING ON THE OTHER CLIENT. HER NEXT APPT. ARRIVED AT 3:00 P.M. AND MARSHAY RUSHED OVER TO GREET HIM BY NAME AND APOLOGIZED TO HIM FOR BEING LATE! I THEN LEFT. THIS PLACE WAS AWFUL!

He had a great personality too. I highly recommend coming here. And it’s close to Coffee Rush so once you’re done with a haircut you can go grab a coffee.

I’m glad I trusted the reviews because this place delivered. Marshay, who also manages the shop, was my barber and stylist — and she was fantastic. From the moment I sat in the chair, she was warm, welcoming, and knew exactly what she was doing. I went in for a Head Shave, Road to Recovery Facial, and Mustache Trim. The facial? Felt too good — definitely going to add that to my monthly routine. What really stood out was how she took the time to recommend skincare products tailored to my needs. I’ve been focused on taking better care of my scalp lately, and she explained exactly how to use the products she suggested. I ended up buying the Liquid Sand Exfoliating Cleanser and Face Moisturizer for daily use. Super grateful for her knowledge and care. The space itself is a cool, modern twist on the classic barbershop. Clean, stylish, and it just felt manly — in the best way. It’s the kind of place you walk into and think, “Yeah, I want to be here.” Even though I see my regular barber weekly, I’m making Roosters — and Marshay — part of my monthly self-care routine. Fantastic experience: I was a walk in . Wait time was less than 5 minutes . I got my first "under cut" style haircut . For the price I received the cut , hair wash , hot towel on the neck before the razor and a face hot towel during the hair wash . Worth every nickel .
