Fantastic experience: I took my boyfriend to this shop after ready the reviews today and they were very friendly and great music, Moe did awesome with my boyfriends hair and even recommended a way to style his hair and products to use.

Fantastic experience: I have been going there now for almost 3 years and I honestly couldn’t be more proud to be a coustmer there, when I walk in all the guys dab me up and welcome me like I’m a part of there group and I terms of haircuts the cleanest and most professional haircuts in my life I have gone to so many great Arab barbers in the Middle East but I can tell you for a fact the Moe at suns tops them all very kind and keeps all his tools clean and extremely great with the scissors and razors I highly recommend any one in the Tempe area and even the areas around to come and try thi s barber shop :)

Negative experience: Barber kept walking off for periods at a time and having a bad attitude. Uneven cut, crazy hairline, cuts on the neck and all. Very negative experience

Fantastic experience: I have come to Suns three times now and they are Fabulous Barbers. I experienced three different Barbers and they listened to me describe what hair style I wanted and cut my hair exactly like I wanted every time. When your Lady compliments your haircut you know you’re going back to Suns Barbershop.

Negative experience: Every time I visit Phoenix and need an emergency haircut, I usually go to this barbershop. In the past, they’ve done a good job, which is why I returned. Unfortunately, this visit was a completely different experience. The staff seemed distracted and unprofessional, and I received one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever had. The fade was poorly done—worse than what I’ve received at a budget chain salon. If the barbers aren’t going to take their work seriously, they shouldn’t be cutting hair at all.

Fantastic experience: MO is an amazing barber and I highly recommend. You can’t go wrong with getting a cut here. I’ve been to over 10 barbers since moving from Dallas and this is the place to go.

Positive experience: Haircut felt rushed (15 mins) and I noticed poor results once I got home. I asked for a #3 on the sides and a #6 on top. The barber made each pass quicker than what I'm used to and maybe his trimmer blades weren't as sharp. It was only me and another customer with 4-5 barbers at 3pm on a Thursday. I've been coming here since July 2022. I've always tipped at least 20%-25% (total being $40), but I think in the past year, they've gotten a little complacent. I live in Gilbert so not exactly close, but doable. Maybe it's time for me to move on.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Suns Barbershop for about 6 months now and they have always have gave me wonderful service and they always greet me every time I come and they always listen to my request and get it spot on every time! I’ve had Fernando a couple times and have to give him a shoutout for the thoroughness of his work I’m pretty picky when it comes to my haircut and I have no complaints of his work he’s amazing at Fades in which every time comes out perfect and clean. I will continue to work with him and the Barbershop as they are reliable even if you don’t have a person the walk-in really makes it easy for the customers!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this barber shop for a couple of years now, and it’s always been a solid experience. Moe is my main barber, he’s super consistent, always takes his time to make sure you’re looking your best. When Moe isn’t available, I’ve had a couple of the other barbers cut my hair and they are all just as great. Good vibes all around, and everyone knows what they’re doing. It’s one of those spots where you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Great people, great service, and you always leave looking better than when you came in.

Fantastic experience: My lil guy keeps asking me to go back to Moe again!! Moe was great with my boy and was amazing at redirecting him. He actually knew better than a childrens shop how to keep him calm and sit still. For those older men out there imagine if he can cut this lil kids hair so sharp and precise imagine what he can do for you. A huge thing for me was that Moe just knew what to do and how to get this guys hair fixed up and saw the issues without me even saying specifics. He loves his new hair and keeps getting compliments. Good price, clean, plenty of parking, friendly, great with kids, just walked in but likely call for specific barber.

Great clean cut and amazing customer service, walk ins are welcome and they always get to you quickly. I get my haircut with moe by the tv but if he’s not there they all cut very well and anyone can give you what you wanted.

Fantastic experience: Ali was amazing! Yesterday, I ended up getting one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever received at a different barbershop. It was almost as bad as if they had buz cut my hair right down the middle. I was horrified as I had an event later that night. I first called Suns barbershop about this dilemma, and they were very helpful and told me come down and everyone will take a look to see what can be done…this felt reassuring! Once I got there, it was evident that there was not much to do…either buzz cut it all, or leave it for a week or so until it grew back. Both options were not ok, as I had an event and I needed a solution to fix it. After a little while, Ali took charge and had a plan…long story short, he ended up blending (softening the hard line) it in and making it look like it was meant to be. Tasked with an impossible job, Ali made it work and I was so thankful especially given the importance of the night. I can’t thank Ali enough…this barbershop was so helpful and so good. A great barbershop!!

The hot towels and straight razor made it an amazing experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, proffesional and friendly. I really enjoyed the music that was playing. The prices are also very reasonable, above where it showz amount spent please keep in mind I left a $20 tip. I would highly recommend Suns Barber Shop and I will be driving the 7 hours from New Mexico every few weeks to keep it up. Thank you for a great haircut and experience.

Negative experience: Haircut was terrible, nothing was blended or faded. Beard lineup was horrible, was told it’ll look good after the hair grows in. Long story short, not worth even close to the $60 I paid, better off going to Great Clips or Supercuts. Not to mention the workers are more focused on talking amongst themselves than paying attention to their clients, nothing more than a hang out spot for them.

Positive experience: You know your beard will turn out right when Arabs work on it because it's part of their culture. I know this because I grew up in the Middle East and these guys live up to the name. They charge reasonable rates for their services and the only thing I wish was they were closer to where I live. They do a good job waxing off the hair from the ears and nose too! The only reason I cannot give a 5 star is because they rush everything. Because of which, you feel like there's not enough attention given to the work needed to be done.
