Negative experience: old lady hairstylist rushed the service and the worst ugliest haircut i ever had . I never get mullet since i was a kid like 40 yrs ago i dont wanna offend her so i just let it slide and wear my headcap and visit the nearest hairsaloon to get it fix.

She gave him a clean, perfectly blended fade that looks sharp and age-appropriate, and she paid great attention to detail the entire time. Codi was patient, professional, and made him feel comfortable in the chair, which we really appreciated. The cut came out exactly how we asked, and you can tell she takes pride in her work. We’ll definitely be back and will be requesting Codi again!

Fantastic experience: We had such a wonderful experience at this kids barber shop! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and completely stress-free. The bright colors, playful decor, and kid-sized chairs instantly made my child feel comfortable and excited instead of nervous. The barber was incredibly patient and kind, taking the time to talk my child through each step and making sure they felt safe the whole time. They were quick but very careful, and the haircut turned out absolutely perfect! It’s clear the staff truly understand how to work with children of all ages. I also really appreciated how clean and organized everything was. The whole visit felt smooth and well-managed, even with other families there. If you’re looking for a place that makes haircuts fun instead of stressful, this is definitely it. We’ll absolutely be coming back for our next trim!

Negative experience: I came to this barbershop and showed a photo clearly explaining the beard shape I wanted. When she finished, the shape was different. I asked her to fix it. She tried, but made one side of the cheek lower and the other higher. After that, it was already impossible to fix. Then I asked her to shave the sides on the left and right and leave the beard only in the middle. After that, she ruined it again — one side shorter, the other longer — and it could no longer be corrected. I then said to shave everything off and asked for a refund. They called the manager, and the salon refused to refund the money for their work. They charged $152. Do not go to this salon — terrible service, they work poorly and disrespect customers.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with a barber named Chaundre. She seemed uninterested in cutting my hair and appeared more focused on finishing her shift than providing quality service. The attitude felt lazy, and there was very little attention to detail. A good haircut is important, especially when customers may have events or commitments afterward. One bad haircut can ruin their day. I hope the salon considers improving its customer service and ensuring they have attentive and friendly barbers who genuinely care about their work. Just high prices doesn’t mean quality. Actually, I had a great experience with previous barber at the same place like couple of months back. Unfortunately I don’t remember his name. 5 stars to him.

Negative experience: I booked my appointment online a day in advance and even added a note specifying exactly what I wanted: a curtain cut with layers. My hair is already styled this way. Fine, wavy, and just overgrown. It should have been a simple refresh. When I arrived, there were no other customers, but the woman at the front desk barely acknowledged me and wasn’t welcoming at all. I heard her tell another stylist that she was going to give my appointment away, then she disappeared to look for that stylist and couldn’t find her. She ended up taking me herself. The entire haircut was rushed and took less than ten minutes, and I did not receive the layered cut I requested, both in the online appointment and again in the chair. The result is choppy and uneven, nothing like what I asked for. To make things worse, my hair wasn’t blow-dried properly, so I left with trimmings falling out and had to rush home before work to fix it myself. The stylist even asked me to shake my head to get the hair trimmings out. Overall, I felt like an inconvenience from the moment I walked in. The stylist either didn’t care or simply didn’t know how to cut my hair type. I’m extremely unhappy with the service. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this shop to anyone.

Negative experience: This place gives discounts to customers for writing good Google reviews, so I would be VERY weary of their high ratings. My experience is absolute bottom of the barrel here. Their turnover is very high, and they want you to bring up any concerns at checkout. Okay, but the person that gave you the questionable experience is the one that is checking you out...so how is that a reasonable process? They charge the same amount for a child as they do for an adult hair cut. Meanwhile, a child has half the hair of an adult and takes far less time, plus doesn't drink any of the complimentary liquor provided for adults. (A childrens haircut at a high end salon in Uptown is the same price) It is a total rip off, and they obviously have a cheap clientele because they have to remind people that 20% tip is a standard gratuity and is required. I am okay with requiring it, if the service is good. But when the service is NOT good...to require a customer to pay 20% gratuity on a poor service and then also putting the responsibility on the customer to confront the provider who gave the dissatisfactory service? That is unacceptable to me. I called the next day to speak with a manager..turns out they do not even have a manager right now. Shocking. Editing to add- I didn't mention how terrible the actual haircut was. Unfortunately, the haircut we got looks like an unsupervised toddler got ahold of scissors.

That's how, I came to know about Cool Heads between Warren Pkwy & DNT. After seeing the reviews, especially on the stylist Sherry, I gave a try and it was worth the money. She was amazing, did the requested style with extra bit of her suggestions and found myself in a new look which my wife and family liked. I definitely recommend this place.
