Fantastic experience: Royal Cut Plano is one of the best barbershops in the area. My barber is Sameer, I’ve been going to him for a couple of years now and I can’t recommend him enough, he’s an amazing barber!! He is well detailed, consistent, always on time and he really knows his stuff. Not to mention that it’s always a great conversation with him!

Negative experience: Came in for an extremely basic clean up (not even a fade) left with uneven sideburns. I had to go back in to have them fix it after I noticed it in the car, and it was still uneven even after they tried to fix it. Never in my life has this happened to me at a barbershop. Will not be coming back, I regret even going out of my way to try this place.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to Royal Cut in Plano for the past 3–4 years, and today I was there with my son. Unfortunately, one of the barbers completely messed up my son’s haircut. Neither Bilal nor I were happy with the result. As soon as Bilal (one of the owners) noticed, he immediately stepped in. He called the barber over, showed him what was wrong, explained how to fix it, and made it clear this can’t happen again. The barber admitted his mistake, which I appreciated. Bilal then personally took care of the situation, spending another 20–30 minutes fixing my son’s haircut. The difference was night and day—he transformed it into exactly the kind of cut I expect from a well-known shop like Royal Cut. On top of that, due to this issue, Br. Bilal refused to let me pay even a penny, even though I insisted. That really shows how much he cares about his customers. Honestly, Bilal completely changed my mood—from thinking this would be my last visit, to knowing I won’t go anywhere else besides Royal Cut. Br. Bilal is one of the best barbers in the DFW area, and his skill and professionalism always stand out. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Negative experience: ⚠️ Parents, beware — this shop is absolutely NOT kid-friendly despite how they advertise. I booked an appointment, drove down with my kids, and the barber refused to cut their hair simply because they weren’t ready to sit right away. I explained that it only takes them a minute to settle, and once they start they sit calmly, but he didn’t care and flat-out turned us away. That’s not patience, that’s rejection. If you want a barber who actually knows how to work with kids, skip this place entirely and go to Blades Barbershop. They not only gave my kids a proper haircut, they took the time to befriend them and make them feel comfortable. Huge difference in attitude and service. Don’t waste your time here — go somewhere that actually deserves to be called kid-friendly.

Fantastic experience: These gentlemen are masters of their craft! No other way to put it. I’ve been a handful of times and each time I am blown away by their work. This group is very particular about the quality of their trade. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Saeed did a poor job with facial waxing. Also, I’d advise that he use a mouth freshener. He reeks the smell of cigarettes. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Negative experience: Asked for a fade with a lot on top for my little brother they completely ignored it. Buzzed way too much, uneven, and sloppy. The guy didn’t listen, didn’t care, and ruined his haircut. How do you charge people for a haircut that they didn’t request? Unbelievable It’s so disappointing because this is my third time and last time coming here.

Negative experience: owner was friendly however. got a haircut from syed and it was one of the worst experiences i’ve had with haircuts. extremely rushed. didn’t listen to me at all. messed up my hair completely. i hate to leave this comment i would rarely do this but honestly horrible experience. management should train him or let him go.

Positive experience: They have good help and not a long wait time at all and a good location. Haircuts have gotten pricey so that's why I gave four stars and I wish haircuts were closer to $15. I guess we can't have everything our way, but I do appreciate the good haircut and service. Please keep up the great work.

This place was very clean and I felt comfortable. They did an amazing job. I asked for a medium skin fade and it was executed perfectly.

A) even after explaining the haircut fade styles first he never listened or responded. Also messed up the entire beard and mustache. Positive experience: Moath is a my regular guy. He's good. But you need to really give him directions or he loves to skimp on the details like the beard. But he's a good guy seems like so I let him cut my hair. Overall good place.

Fantastic experience: Took my kid. The place is spacious with ample chairs for clients. Although walk ins are welcome, it is preferred to make a reservation. The stylist understood the assignment and really delivered. Very impressed with his attention to detail. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

I finally came across this barber shop and got paired with smeer , I have never received such an amazing haircut ! I was blown away by his level of skill and attention to detail. Fantastic experience: Well deserved five stars. Royal Cuts was recommended to take my son for haircut. He is a teenager and does not like the haircuts of other traditional places such as Fantastic Sam or Sports clips with just using razors. He has long hair style. Every visit is better than before. The staff is very respectful. As a single parent, I go with my son and have found it very comfortable and accommodating. Well organized, clean environment. We have had not only hair cut but also facial service for my teenager. I have observed, they are busy anytime I have been there and 80% of the time are customers who know them well and have their favorite barbers. Last year, the first time I went and we showed them how we want the hair to be - next several visits they know what to do once we are there which is a big help and one stress less as a mom!

Negative experience: Ali is not that good, I don’t get the positive reviews cause he messed me up. Completely ignored how much I wanted to cut off and the reference picture I showed him. So he cut off way too much, but as long as the cut was good I was ok with it. Though when I reached home I realized the back was pretty messed up, it wasn’t level with the rest of the hair so it’s just kinda sticking out unless I brush it back hard. Definitely not going to Ali again, but I’m not giving it a 1 cause Hakeem is pretty good and has left me satisfied before.

Negative experience: Had a very unpleasant experience yesterday, went for a walk-in they set me up with a guy who don’t know english, so he used google translate, he made a mess of my mustache that I had to clean shave myself, I usually go by appointment with sameer he does it good, be very careful if you’re going without an appointment, what’s more frustrating is that I tried conveying this to their receptionist and he is trying to convince me that the barber did was what I told

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to see Royal Cuts for almost 2 years now after a friend recommended did them to me. I highly recommend them and I refer all of my friends here now. I've mainly seen Bilal and Sameer however they are all extremely talented. Bilal even stayed late after hours one night for me to give me a quick line up as I had an unexpected photoshoot the following day.

My only gripe was that the barbers seem to be on their cell phones a lot. I am surprised they did a decent job while talking on their phones.

I actually go every week for a trim and facial clean up. The shop is always clean, and they normally have a game on. NFL or NBA. Negative experience: Very bad experience we had with this business. I brought my 15 year old kid to get his haircut with Mohammad. After “finishing”, my kid wanted to get his hair cut a little shorter which Mohammad completely declined to do and told us to come next time. I complained to the owner Mr Bilal and he told Mohammad to get the work done what was needed. Mohammad use his cellphone 80% of the time while cutting his hair. Furthermore, on the last few hair cuts visits, Mohammad charged him $30 instead of $25 and I brought this matter with the owner and surprisingly I was told that they can charge whatever they like and he do not have any control on them. The quality of the cut was not good either, seeing that Mohammad was on the phone most of the time.

Negative experience: Dated October 2023. Do not go here. The past couple of time Ive gone they put in minimal effort and when I asked them to fix their mistakes, they make excuses like “oh its fine youre going on vacation just come back after”. royal is horrible. no effort in their cuts
