I’ve become a regular at Cool Heads thanks to Travis, I drive to a location a bit further from where I live after they started working at the Custer location vs the Warren one, just so I can keep getting my hair and beard taken care of by Travis, they are the best!

I went in for a cut and color, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The cut lays perfectly and is so easy to style, and the color is exactly what I was hoping for. He clearly knows what he’s doing and pays attention to the little details.

Negative experience: First and last time customer. Highly recommend staying away from this place. Hair cut was only to be a trim on top and clean the back and sides up. Stylist, Tilly appeared to understand the request (Teenager Broccoli Cut maintenance) ;) and agreed the top looked great. While the haircut provided was not bad (more of a $12.99 Supercuts discount cut), it was nothing discussed. 3 inches was taken from the top and back/sides not cut short enough. So the style that only needed to be trimmed is now a completely different style. To make it even worse, inappropriate questions/conversations with a child. "Are your parents divorced?", "If you pay for something, your parents can't say nothing ". And of course a price difference from what is advertised vs the final bill. Note to owner: until you figure out how to make the hair longer that was cut, don't reply to my review with your "redo within 3 day policy."

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed. The haircut is completely uneven—something I haven’t experienced in years. It felt rushed, with not even five minutes taken to properly attend to the cut. I would avoid this saloon and mainly the stylist Abby.

Negative experience: Experience from 5/15 evening in McKinney, TX. I went to get a haircut for my 10 year old. Travis spent like 45 mins doing something we never wanted. We discussed what we wanted at the start- deep fade and a hard line - we showed her a picture. 45 mins in I am seeing the fade is still not there; the length of the hair was much shorter than what we had agreed to only with a trim, and she is confused on the hard line - it was very disappointing and so my son changed it to needing a zap on one side then instead of a hard line - no change in the fade at all - showed her a second picture again. Travis was not sounding confident again and I that’s when (i am glad) she asked for help to her co-worker Abby. Abby was working with a customer but she was super kind to come check and help. Abby came in and helped with a zap what she could in the time. She was very transparent saying we don’t have time to do what is in the picture coz that will make her do the complete fade again and they don’t have time for that. We stepped out of the saloon with a zap more closer to the ear than where we wanted from the original picture, and the fade that doesn’t match to what we wanted to. Thanks to the other gentleman guest who was super duper kind to let Abby held us and keep waiting on that chair for Abby to come back and continue with the hair services to him.
