Fantastic experience: N.O.A.H Barber in Sydney was an absolute gem of a find for me. I can't recommend them enough, especially if you're looking for a top tier haircut. Luana has a fantastic eye for detail, which she proved with the amazing scissor cut she provided. Throughout the whole appointment she conversed well and made me feel quite comfortable. The entire shop has a great vibe and a welcoming atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic experience: I have been a customer of NOAH (formerly Men's Biz) for years - and have had many barbers in that time. During that period, there's be maybe 50 visits for a beard trim, possibly also head shave. On only one occasion I wasn't 100% happy (it was ages ago) - so I raised it, went back and it was resolved quickly, professionally and absolutely to my satisfaction. I only mention that instance so I can say that I'm absolutely stoked with the customer service from management (I believe it's Nathan who run the enterprise), and the barber Team to put things right. I don't use the barber service anymore, since my work changed locations (and I've had bad luck finding a new one since!), but I do still order from the online store on a regular basis. Everything I've bought has been of the highest quality, so you really can't go wrong. Placed an order today of the usual staples, and added some of the smaller samples to try new products out too. You don't need to commit to a full sized bottle - grab the sachet/tester and see if it works for you. Nothing I've bought from here has been anything other than amazing - and then I've just dialled in my favourites from there. I'd recommend the Geo Trumper, Jack Black and Capt Fawcett's products for those with beards/shaved heads - and also if you have sensitive skin. Surprised I hadn't written a review a while ago (probably, under an old Google account) but more than happy to spend the time writing this one now! Cheers Team!

Fantastic experience: Described my desired haircut for long hair and its maintenance, got the perfect result! Would highly recommend. They also have cheap but good quality hair texture products which I'd highly recommend (I got the medium hold spray, held inside a gray/blue bottle)

Positive experience: Had booked for a deluxe beard trim. While the overall experience was just about okay, the service felt rushed and lacked the attention to detail I expected for a so called “deluxe” offering.

Negative experience: I was booked with the 15 year old work experience kid. Diagnosed me with ‘ringworm’, said he knows cause his ‘mate’ had it. He couldn’t cut my hair cause of it. I saw a GP after and she said it was a birth mark TODAY’S LESSON: don’t experiment with barbers just stick to the same one. Edit: He got the lady barber and other male barber to come and stand behind me and look at my head. They kept saying things along the lines of 'eww' and 'ringworm' really loudly. There were other customers looking at me disgusted.

Fantastic experience: Marcelo is a life saver, I had a terrible cut elsewhere but he did some Christmas magic and now I have an awesome haircut for the end of the year. Positive experience: Sat down and made it clear with the person cutting my hair that I wanted 1 back and sides and quite a lot from the top, but it doesn’t feel as if that was listened to as there’s hardly enough difference on top from when I first walked in. To me then asking for the side to be shaved a bit higher, to form a more rounded shape, which is personal preference, where it felt the barber was reluctant to do that and said “squared is better”, referring to the shape, when surely it would be more important to what I wanted and not his opinion

Negative experience: Drove an hour into the city, called ahead and said I'd be a few minutes late. Still arrived before their deadline and I was turned away. The shop had one customer. I thought this place was decent. No offer to rebook even though you advised other barbers were available later in the day. Shocking customer service.

Fantastic experience: I booked a haircut for 11:00AM with Filipe he took his time and did an amazing job everything is so nice and I feel fresh would 100% recommend.

Negative experience: Made a booking, and the hairdresser after keeping me waiting for 15mins told me that my appointment was cancelled. No apology no nothing. Very disappointed, such bad service, if I was the owner I’d be concerned.

Was in downtown Sydney for just a few hours and he was kind enough to do a walk in and happened to be available (though it seems like making an appointment is definitely suggested). The team made me feel really welcome from the start and Felipe was fantastic. I can be very picky but glad to say it was the best haircut I've had in a very long time. Fantastic experience: I had a wedding to attend in Sydney last Sunday having flown in from the UK, and was in dire need of a last-minute beard trim. Went to Men's Biz after seeing the reviews and despite having no booking, Sami squeezed me in and sorted me out with the sharpest trim I've ever had. Felt like a million bucks walking out - Sami, you're a legend! Will be dropping in for sure the next time I'm in town.

Negative experience: ✅️ Quick appointment, nice team Request not listened... At first I was happy as I was in hurry, and was accepted for a walkin appointment. (Thanks again ) However, when going for the haircut, I asked to not cut them, as I was growing them. Just a few... The barber cut 5 cm !!! 4 month of growth gone... :( The beard was "ok", but the shape was not conformed at all. I had to go to another barber to make it even.

In a city full of barbershops, this one stands out for its exceptional service and atmosphere. Negative experience: Very average taper fade. For 55 I expected more skill than my local barbershop. Nice shop, clean set-up and friendly guys but a fade with dense lines, no thinning of bulk, not worth the price if youre after a barber fade/taper cut

Fantastic experience: Excellent haircut by barber Sami. The quality of the haircut was visibly superior than your average barber shop in Sydney. The fade was smooth with a seamless transition, and the cut was symmetrical and well shaped around the face. Friendly and professional customer service also.

Fantastic experience: I have been here numerous times with Nick. My hair is frequently somewhat oily from travel and he always washes it before cutting my hair. Because of the dent in my skull he always had to spend extra time cutting the hair around it. And he is respectful of your preference of banter or some peaceful quiet. I haven't tried it but I am informed that the $50/60 haircut includes a complementary beer. The service is well worth the price. And the style points/professional look you get is more than triple of what you get for a 20-30 haircut. Would recommend, for sure.

Fantastic experience: I stopped by once, without a booking, and they were very accommodating. I didn't know much about the place and only had to wait about 15 mins. The guy Sam, who has now left did a great job. I was really impressed with the service. The second time, I stopped by again without a booking but had to come back in 45 minutes. No problem, it was a Saturday, so I expected them to be busy. This time I had Sami (different to the first guy), who did an even better job. He cut my hair and gave it a wash so I wasn't walking around with stray hairs falling all over my clothes. Perfect! The third time I walked in, again without a booking, but sadly they were booked up. So I booked online for during the week. I got a guy called Hux, who did an even better job than the first two, somehow, because the first two were already so good. He was cutting/shaving bits of hair that other barbers over look. I was impressed with his attention to detail. I've no idea how they intend to keep this up but they're doing a great job. I couldn't recommend enough and after my first 3 experiences I don't think I'll be going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Men's Biz after having been a regular customer at a Barber in Martin Place. I was on the look out for a better barber and Hux was great. He was very good and cut my hair the way I like it. He was also a great conversationalist and I felt bad because I didn't come prepared to talk about all things sport and travel (which was my bad, not his) - my old barber didn't talk much. Overall, it was great experience and I look forward to coming back...

Fantastic experience: Amazing place with skillful barbers. Brandon and Jordan did amazing cut for my hair, they are very well listeners, fun, give good advice about hairstyles and pay attention to details. On my 2nd time, Jordan running late with the previous customer, hence, my hair was done 5mins earlier than expected duration without wash. However, nothing to complain to a good haircut. Negative experience: Previously went to this place for haircut when in Sydney. Had a good experience. Visited today and was told they had no capacity until later in the day. Made a booking. I was 3 mins away and arriving early, 30 mins prior to booking when they rang and cancelled as they had too many walk ins. And could not offer another appointment for another 3 days. Still went to site and they had one guy standing around doing nothing. So if you need a haircut from a reliable organisation, go somewhere else. Men’s Biz in Strand Arcade is not the place to go.

Negative experience: I went here today for my first ever visit to a barber and I was with Jordan Z. I could not be more angry and will never ever be back and will advise everyone I know not to go here. I walked in and told him I just wanted a trim and next thing I know he is taking more out of my beard, doesn't ask me a single question but when I told him that he took off way more then I wanted he says that's how he does his bear and didnt ask me a single question after. My very first experience and I was incredibly disappointed and angry as this is no where near what I wanted and now my face look nothing like how I wanted it. Stay away. *Udate* after a shower more then 60% of the length of my beard has been cut off by that butcher. Do not under any circumstances go with Jordan Z.

Fantastic experience: Went to get a haircut from Brandon yesterday. Incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Great value haircut for what you get and definitely one of the top barbershops in Sydney I’ve been too recently. Also stock a great range of hair products. UPDATE 10/02/22 - came back again and saw Jamie this time. Really careful and meticulous. Appreciate the time he spent to get everything to my liking. Comforting to know you can see any barber here and get a great cut.

Negative experience: I have had 4 appointments now with men's biz but the last 2 sittings I've had to be very attentive to what the barber is doing as they sometimes tend to go on autopilot. Yesterday was my last ever visit, this is because I gave very straight directions to the barber and constantly made sure everything was what I was looking for, but as soon as I stopped he had cut my fringe and sides nearly 3 cm shorter and I'm very disappointed. He then went on to style my hair completely differently as if he forgot my prior haircut. After doing this the barber attempted to make it look like he was meant to do that and basically stopped talking for the rest of the session. Once my appointment was over he said a funny joke telling me he was a veteran barber and it was an extra hidden $10 fee. Btw if you read all of this as a customer all the good barbers left 2 months ago.

Negative experience: One of the best online stores for men’s grooming needs but failed spectacularly with a simple haircut. Uneven sides, fades not faded properly, shaky hands with a straight razor... it was ugly. Hate to rip on a business, but it was just unacceptable...

Negative experience: I went in for a hot towel shave and but the barber butchered my face. He called it a little bit of irritation but it was little cuts under my nose, under and around my lips, and at the bottom of my chin. He said that these minor irritations were caused by my “thick” facial hair. Would not recommend anyone going

Negative experience: Overall disappointed and it didn't pass the wife test. Arrived and was greeted, quickly appointed my shaver who was good, talked through the process and away we went, cold beer, plenty of hot towels and soaps, exfoliate etc. Shave went well I thought and was thanked as I left. Greeted my wife who said wow lets have a look, oh they left exfoliate around your forehead let me clean you up, oh its not very close, neck is rough why? Hey where is your free shaving soap? Oh my what have they done to you :-( ! I went back upstairs and asked: I was supposed to receive a free shaving soap? They said oh you have to go downstairs for that, off I trod and on arrival to the other shop asked for my free soap, oh sorry they don't have any "British Shaving cream". Let me call the boss see what we can do instead, short while later was provided a Pro Raso shaving cream tube. Overall disappointing, had a hot towel shave in Nepal for USD$1.50 which was fantastic, smooth all over, eyebrows buzzed, sides trimmed, ear hair trimmed and smooth as a babies bum!

Fantastic experience: I have only ever ordered online, so I can't speak for the in-store experience, but I have ordered a number of times, and items have always shipped fast... sometimes have taken a little time to arrive, which can be a little annoying (I'm in Sydney, so it doesn't have to travel far...), but I'm reasonably sure the issue is more at the Australia Post end. EDIT: Wanted to update this, I have since ordered several times, and each time the shipping has been extremely fast.

For the whole time I have been visiting this barbers I team have always shown themselves to be extremely professional, personable, punctual and dependable. True professionals of what they do providing an outstanding service. The hair cuts I receive have always been of high quality and standard, made better by the service standard from the team. I receive compliments often on the quality of my hair cut which leads me to recommend this barbershop very highly to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful shop in a beautiful arcade. The team here know what they are doing that for sure. The range of mens products are great, just a little pricey. Be warned its a little like being in a fishbowl here as passers by might stop and stare.

Negative experience: Stood from quite far away taking photos and got a big hand gesture “no” from inside. Quite arrogant and I immediately lost interest. I could only guess that either the shop has the policy of no photos or maybe it’s because the stylist might not enjoy being taken photos. However the shop is located at a popular arcade while I was taking a wide shot in quite a distance (I was even on the other side of the hallway). So I would be equally intrigued if the shop has no photo policy or the stylist had to take it personal. If I were to be their customer, I would my stylist to focus more on my hair, instead of faraway passersby outside the window, let alone waving scissors at them. Wouldn’t anyone?

Fantastic experience: These guys seriously know their hair and their products. First time I've gone in and got a great haircut and some really useful information about what the best product is for my hair. They have almost every product worth stocking and know each one quite well. The team are really friendly and have great banter. Can even grab a coffee, scotch or beer while you wait. Will definitely be back.
