Fantastic experience: Another great haircut and beard trim by Wesley at Uptown Barbers Dymocks. Super neat job exactly along the lines I had hoped for and I didn't have to put up with lots of yabba-yabba chat . . . apart from my own HaHa. Place is always super clean and on a Sydney super hot, humid day . . . so good to be in air-con comfort, friendly, clean, neat staff and with a fragrant, steam towel over the face and head for a finale . . . what a great way to finish. Negative experience: Unfortunately I couldn’t make my appointment due to an accident on the road meaning traffic was going to make me late. I called to try and reschedule my appointment to another day. The response was essentially tough luck and I lost my deposit.

Fantastic experience: Popped in on the offchance there was space available and was told to sit immediately which was awesome as i had expected there to be a wait, the gentleman who cut my hair and beard, i believe his name was Wesley, did an outstanding job and left me feeling fresh! I wouldnt hesitate to go here again when visiting Sydney they are friendly and professional and reasonably priced for its location. Typically i prefer shaving mousse as the gels often irritate my skin, well not today... Wesley applied the gel using a brush rather than a stick or glove finger and that has made a heap of difference.. no rashes or breakouts and cut with precision. You can tell they care about thier clients it really shows! Excellent work guys!

Negative experience: Waited ages for a barber to be free. I told him what I would like done to my hair and he proceeded to cut most of it off and make it really thin which I didn’t ask for. Overpriced too at $60 for a standard haircut.

Positive experience: I hate when barbers decide to change your hairstyle because of their own personal opinion. I’ve been getting the same 1 guard buzzcut for 3 years but apparently that’s too short so they decided to use a 1.5 and taper it at the edges. There’s nothing complicated about a buzz cut, it should be nearly impossible to mess up.
