Fantastic experience: Came in Saturday morning for a haircut-I am a procrastinator and was in dire need of a haircut. I was booked with JiRylie and I am extremely pleased with it. The haircut looks great, my cut is pretty basic but he was very detailed with the cut-asked questions often to make sure I was getting the service I was looking for. The store itself is clean, looks great and very professional. The cost is more than competitive with other salons/barbershops that are in the same level-this isn't the (fill in the blank) generic hair cut franchise. Really enjoyed it, the cut is great and the cost was a positive, I definitely recommend JiRylie and the store.

Fantastic experience: Booked a spontaneous cut with Sara this afternoon and she was really great. I hadn’t gotten a cut in over two months and she was really patient in making sure I get the perfect cut. For the last couple of years, my hair on the sides used to stand up after a while because of the weight but she explained and fixed that for me. Will definitely be back for another cut in the future with Sara!

Negative experience: I walked into this barbershop hoping for a quick trim, but the experience felt disappointing from the moment I sat down. The atmosphere felt tired, almost like the place had given up on trying to look inviting. The chairs were worn out, the floor needed attention, and the whole room felt strangely tense. The barber barely looked at me before starting. I tried to explain what I wanted, but it felt like he had already decided what he was going to do. The entire haircut felt careless. He moved the clippers around like he was on autopilot, and at one point I honestly wondered if he even remembered what I asked for. When he finished, I tried to stay calm, but it was hard not to react. The sides were cut way shorter than I expected, the top looked uneven, and the whole thing felt like a style I would never choose for myself. It was not just a bad cut. It felt like no one actually cared about the outcome. I left the shop annoyed, a little embarrassed, and wishing I had trusted my instinct to walk back out as soon as I saw the place. I am not someone who complains often, but this experience was disappointing enough that I will not be returning.

Negative experience: If I could give this place negative stars, I’d do it twice. I really wish I could say something positive about my visit to this barbershop, but the entire experience left me disappointed. I walked in hoping for a simple, clean haircut, and things felt off right away. The shop looked like it needed a good cleaning, and the air had a stale smell that made me uneasy before I even sat down. I showed the barber a picture of the haircut I wanted. It was a basic fade, nothing complicated. He nodded and started cutting, but the whole process felt rushed. The clippers kept pulling at my hair and he never paused to check if everything was looking right. I tried to stay patient, thinking maybe it would come together at the end. It did not. When he finished, I looked in the mirror and felt completely deflated. The fade was uneven, the sides were patchy, and the top was cut shorter than I asked for. I tried to bring up my concerns gently, but he brushed them aside like they were no big deal. Hearing him say it would grow back made me feel even worse. I ended up paying full price for a haircut that I now need to get fixed somewhere else. I walked out frustrated and honestly embarrassed by how it looked. I know every place can have an off day, but this experience was rough enough that I cannot recommend this barbershop to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Edited: Updated to 5 Stars. They called to rectify the problem. And had 2 great experiences after that. Will be back. Old review: This place is such a hit and miss. I had 2 awesome experiences, should have noted down their names. 2 haircuts after that are bad and not at a professional level. They didn’t level the back of my kid’s haircut I always tip around 25%, but having a sign reading “minimum tip 20%” that’s silly. Raise the prices rather than having these signs. I’ll update my review if I have better experiences.
