Fantastic experience: I've been getting my haircuts here since I was a kid with my pops and thier pricing with all cuts have always been fair. Sam is the man to go to if you're looking for perfect lines and freshest fades here at Betty and Nicks.

Negative experience: The lady at counter charged me extra

Negative experience: It's cheap, and the place is clean. Firstly there is no "$10 haircut" if you ask for literary ANYTHING you're paying 15 bucks. But you're getting what you paid for, I went to a guy and asked for a taper with a mid-fade, telling him to "take a little off the top". You know what he does??? Shaves the sides and the back with a 1 guard. Barely gives me a low fade, and gives up on the taper. Then he wets my hair and starts cutting, keep in mind I came in with long-ish hair. I walk out the shop looking like a temu Thomas Shelby.

Positive experience: Guys you guys gotta go see the old MaN celso roberto martinez Martinez He does an incredible job Just make sure he doesn't cut you and make sure he doesn't mess up your lining.

Fantastic experience: Benjamin is just the best barber I have ever seen. He is awesome, very friendly, polite.

Negative experience: Exactly what you would imagine you would get for a $10 hair cut. I have been crying for hours. I just can't imagine how someone could hear you clearly say "trim the dead ends" and butcher you so brutally without any regard. It's so horrific to do this to people. I would much more prefer the hair dresser to say "I can't do this, I'm sorry" Than to go in fully confident and go rogue. The receptionist was so rude, avoided eye contact. Was on the phone when I entered and just pointed to a chair. I walked in a 20 something year old girl and walked out a 55 year old Mexican señora. I have no words. It will take me 2 years to grow this out. It should be illegal to do this people. I don't want a $10 refund. I want someone to read this and stay away from this place. Have your friend trim your hair. It's not worth it I promise.

Negative experience: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR! My beber went for 8 weeks vacation so I've been looking for an alternative berber until he gets back, so I walked in the lady at the counter is so rude not even showing any type of professionalism then she guided me to the seat number 20 " not even close to be a beginner berber" I had a very disappointing experience at this barbershop. The barber clearly didn’t know what he was doing. He kept aggressively turning my head left and right, which was uncomfortable. Instead of using scissors and proper technique on the top, he used a trimmer, which left uneven waves in my hair. On top of that, the forehead line he gave me was crooked and not straight at all. Overall, the entire haircut and experience were terrible, and I would not recommend this place.

Negative experience: Number 25 is horrible. The barber didn’t bother to brush off the blade and didn’t bother to alcohol around my face to use the blade.

Negative experience: There was lady guessing new talking her personal just wanted get my eyebrows wax. Gone here for while and before ladies was gentel actual know what they doing. This lady didn't tbh put me on those styling cape. Shirt full someone hairs now. Didn't even let finish my eyebrows no more only did the bottom clean up then put wax on top lip when just said just eyebrows,scraping my eyebrows to the point irradiated my skin just got up instead, hearing the other stylist gossiping about her in spanish calling her crazy.

Negative experience: Wow I've been coming here for at least 20yrs on and off never had a haircut this bad . I showed this lil tiny Hispanic dude who doesn't speak a word of English a picture of me with the haircut I wanted. He says ok cuts my hair in a different style 1 that he chose and tells me that the haircut is done thru google translate on his phone I tell him no this isn't the cut I wanted and try to show him again a lady walks over and says that I just have to go home and comb it the way I wanted. She walks away I tell dude a few things to fix to try to make it a lil bit similar to the picture I showed him multiple times he takes out the scissors and makes 2 small cuts and says done. I tell him it's not what I wanted and say I was going to tip u 15-20 but you don't seem to understand or actually know how to cut hair so I walk to the front tell them and they say next time someone else will cut my hair. Wow worst experience over ever had here! Anyone going here do not get your haircut by the Lil skinny Spanish young dude that's usually in chair 16 he doesn't know how to cut hair and refuses to cut your hair the way u want !!!!

Fantastic experience: Doesn’t matter what high end salon you refer me to, i’m proud to say that my heart always leads back to Zadia. She does better work than most salons I went to for hair cut. She does great layers and blowout. Sometimes she kind of cuts off more hair than what I agreed to which was traumatic at first, but then it always came out great so I trust her.

Negative experience: I've never felt suicidal after a haircut. I walked in and was immediately seated, I couldn't even get my reference picture before she started hacking away. I asked for an inch off, but she cut off more than half of my hair. Now I look like a mung bean. As soon as I left, I cried on the bus stop, I cried the way home, and I cried myself to sleep. I was hoping it was a bad dream but here I am typing this review with my lopsided bangs. If you're looking for a somewhat decent haircut, don't come here unless you're suicidal and need one more reason.

Positive experience: I had never been here before but it was recommended to me by a neighbor. It’s open until 7, which is great, and I got my son in right away without an appointment. The lady did a fantastic job with the haircut, and my son got a lollipop after. It wasn’t the cleanest or most organized place I’ve ever been, but in a pinch and for the price it was very good. Would recommend and would come back.

Negative experience: Not what it used to be rude people dirty equipment and prices are now like anywhere else. No more 7 no more 10 now it’s 15 and up for hair and same for beard with attitude and filth go somewhere else if you don’t want warts too from dirty equipment.

Negative experience: I wanted a soft perm not too tight. I have fine thin hair and short ( about shoulders length). At the entrance I asked how much for a perm and the lady said 45. Then when I approached the lady who was going to cut my hair, she said 10 dollars more to trim the ends because they had color. At the end super tight perm and they charged me 100. The lady said because the lady used 2 bottles on my hair. I was not happy with the perm and the prices they change from 1 minute to the other. Not going there again. Maybe good for mens hair, but not womens.

Negative experience: Bad haircuts!!! It is understandable that students are cutting hair, however without supervision & during my visit there were many complaints about bad haircuts, including mine! Stick to the professionals from a real establishment.

Positive experience: You get what you pay for..$10 for a basic haircut. I got home and fixed a little of what she didn't trim. Only went there because my regular place isn't open on Sundays.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Asia for several years and highly recommend her for all, but especially (from my experience) men’s hair. She does more than a simple cut with great skill in layering my increasingly receding hairline. It looks clean cut and full without a mop over look like I’m trying too hard to hide my increasing baldness. She takes the time to cut and layer it well without rushing. And she’s super nice! Ask for Asia at Bay 7!

Negative experience: Do NOT get your hair done with Asia. One star is too generous. I came in with bleach blonde hair requesting a touch-up. I wash a week later and the splotchiness came out after first wash. This IS NOT A REAL salon. Please save your money. They still charged me for this mess without offering any solution or way to fix it.

Negative experience: I asked the person on number 12 for an inverted bob. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and told her I wanted it a bit longer than that and elaborated. I stressed that I didn't want it too short and she didn't listen. She even cut it shorter than in the picture. She seemed to not understand me or just didn't care because I asked her more than once if she understood what I meant. If there is any issue understanding a customer you should ask someone to translate instead of doing whatever you want. You can always cut more hair but you can't add hair after you cut it. I should've walked out without paying and the person in the front should of never let me pay after dealing with that.

Negative experience: Been coming here for years. They do have a couple of solid barbers. I only have 2 simple specifications for my cut. 2nd Haircut in 4 weeks today to fix last bad haircut here. 2nd time in a row that the barbers went way off specs by doing their own vision of what they wanted to do with my ‘do. Both also argued with me on style. Now needed to start from scratch and just shaved my head. This last barber shaved parts of my natural hairline straight off. . Yes, it was that bad.

Negative experience: I recently visited this place for haircut and shave. The front desk lady had big time attitude. No hello, welcome etc. She didn’t know which station was available to take next customer and if a station had an existing appointment. While exiting, she had a blank face and expect customers to explain everything to her. She came across as someone slapped her and kept her standing out of home whole night. Feel sorry for her.

Negative experience: Place isn’t what it use to be. It’s basically gone down the drain. Staff seems unhappy and miserable due to all the changes! Prices have gone up forcing people to go elsewhere. The owner also closed the lower level of the salon which was a huge mistake!! There are 100 other salons within the area which offer better service and prices! Good luck

Fantastic experience: I can never speak beyond my immediate experiences so this is for the artist at chair one. I always forget her name, but give the best fade in the game. She knows how to cut long hair as well. For the price and result, there isn't a better value for a cut. She's apparently the eyebrow slayer as well, but I can't really speak on that

Negative experience: Asked for a very blunt, blunt trim, straight across the bottom. Because I am growing my hair out. My hair is not only super way too short now, five inches gone, but looks like a pingpong ball. I don’t even have a bottom anymore, the nape of my neck is exposed. Exactly what I didn’t want. This is very heartbreakingly terrible, I can’t go out in public looking like this.

Negative experience: Asked for a low fade, got a high fade? If you can even call it a fade. So upset man. I wouldn’t come back ever. I asked another barber to fix it for me because I lost trust in the first one and he would not help me and said I had to go back to the barber that messed my hair up to begin with. I’m so beyond upset.

Negative experience: My son came to this exact barber shop today he asked the barber if he was busy and he said that he was packing up to leave.But he gave my son a cut anyways but it was the worst he says that he spent about 5 min on the cut and at the end made him leave a tip.

Negative experience: I got my hair cut here yesterday and got one of the worst cuts of my life. I’m so embarrassed to be seen right now and have to now postpone headshots for another few months because of this horrific Lord Farquaad like haircut. Not to mention this is just embarrassing to be seen with. I now have to spend even more money and buy a wig to get me through the next few months while this atrocity grows out. Length is important to me as a Native American woman, the stylist cut off 5 inches of my hair and did a blunt cut without any type of layers or anything. It just sits there, there’s no type of style to it. But most importantly, my length is culturally IMPORTANT to me and she basically started the death ceremony for me. I asked for layered bangs, curtain bangs, she gave me outright bangs, which is NOT what I asked for. They sit so badly, can’t be styled or anything. this cut is one of the top worst decisions I’ve ever made and I wish I could go back in time and pay $80 for an actually worth it hair cut. I cried for hours yesterday. Hair is important to me, I’m already losing some of it to an autoimmune disease but to be butchered like this is one of my worst nightmares, please take your business somewhere else because I can’t undo this but you can.

Fantastic experience: I have been getting my haircut here for 4 years. At the beginning I’ve tried different people from this place but THE BEST in doing my eyebrows, cutting my hair and doing the fade is Buffy. She’s off Wednesdays but all other days she is in. She is very detail and follow your instructions and can also give you her point of view. Me and my roommates go look for her. You will not be disappointed. Come by and ask for Buffy. She is great!!!!

Fantastic experience: During a holiday, I stop in here for a quick cut since they were the only ones open around my area. Very friendly staff and the lady that cut my hair, was very gentle and took her time with every detail on how I wanted my hair .

Negative experience: I asked for a lining and a fade and instead of giving me a lining they gave me more forehead. My hair line is literally a semi circle now
