Fantastic experience: 1 star situation, 5 star response I made an appointment for an 'edge up' which is a $16 service. Everything up to the point of paying was good as usual: was offered a free water bottle and got a good haircut. Then I had the rug pulled from under me at the end when I was asked to pay for the "haircut" service ($41) because the barber was new and didn't realize that I had only asked for an edge up, even though I verbally told him what I was there for (his English didn't seem to be that great). Obviously I was frustrated at what was essentially a bait-and-switch, but paid anyway as I didn't feel like escalating the situation to involve a manager or make a scene. UPDATE: Scott, the owner, reached out the next day to apologize and offered a full refund on my ticket. I removed part of my review that had more strongly worded language as I wrote it in frustration, even though he didn't ask me to remove that or my review in general. I truly appreciate him reaching out personally and in such a speedy manner. This was definitely an isolated incident and everyone should feel comfortable giving this barbershop a try, my one bad experience probably wont be yours! He said they will use this as a learning experience and no one will get in trouble which I also appreciate.

Negative experience: I’m not one to typically leave reviews, but I feel like I have to speak out on this. I’ve been going here for a couple of years and had generally positive experiences w deymi. Most recently, I went in for a haircut with a different barber , and he was completely high out of his mind. He could barely speak, open his eyes, or even move. I immediately told him that I did not feel comfortable with him cutting my hair, and I left. Receptionist was apologetic , but I don’t understand how he was allowed to even be there in that state. Considering he is working with sharp tools, it is completely dangerous and irresponsible.

Fantastic experience: Eli cut my baby’s hair for the first time (he’s 11 months). My babes was scared and fussy. Eli was chill and patient. The whole staff ended up trying to help with suckers, cartoons and funny faces. We even ended up with a little sign and a bit of hair for his first cut. This place is great. Will be back with my little guy.

I used to go to any old shop (Supercuts, etc) and my cuts here were immediately much better. My hairline isn’t so much receding as it is sprinting back, but the folks at V’s have never failed to make it look great through the different stages

Man, she not only made my husband even sexier than he already is, she taught me and explained the whole process while doing it! Her ease, gentleness, and precise edging skills blew me and him away! She literally had my husband praising God in her chair! I HIGHLY recommend the V's experience and Ms. Evans specifically.

I never have to wait long to get to the chair and the cut doesn’t feel rushed like at my last place that reduced the appointment time down to 15 mins. I won’t say the name of the last place but it rhymes with roids.

Negative experience: This is gonna my last time in this barbershop. I use to be a client for the last 3 years. I was late by 1min for “grace policy” due to the traffic. Once I got there they said “sorry we took someone else”.

Fantastic experience: Ava is not only one of the nicest barbers I've had cut my hair, she is also extremely skilled! I get a skin fade and her attention to detail is outstanding. Always enjoy getting my haircut here! Great vibes

Fantastic experience: This is the first haircut I got in a long time that I actually like. Toney cut my hair and she did better than most barbers I’ve gone to, I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but when I showed her a picture it looked just like it. I usually have cuts around my line up from other barbers but when I went here there wasn’t any cuts and she wasn’t rough like other barbers I’ve gone to.

Fantastic experience: Started growing hair just over 2yrs ago, never cut it but it started to get out of control and didn't really know what to do with it ( being a guy who's never grown hair out and all ) till I met this woman super hero with a reversed super cape on ... she was amongst other super heros but i chose her. She goes by the name of Jasmine aka Jazz aka jazabelle, she ask what i was looking (Which really no idea) for and took charge from there what a delightful experience a way better look then I thought possible thanks a million and for those reading, your super hero will be found here too. Fantastic experience: Finally found my neighborhood barbershop! I've gotten cuts from Ava and Esmeralda who both friendly, personable, and most importantly, detail oriented in their styling. Also enjoy extra touches on every cut, from razor neck shave, hot towel, and shampoo service.

Negative experience: Terrible haircut. I asked for a fade and what I got wasn't a fade just straight up with clippers. She did basically nothing I asked. It was a basic haircut that I could have got anywhere for way less. I felt like I was being rushed out the door since I was the last appointment and the other hair stylists seemed to be annoyed and complaining that I walked in and sat down for a haircut. Never going here again.
