When walking up to the door you'll see a wonderful friendly dog to greet you, music going, and the TV playing with conversations and laughs coming from everyone. Everyone there will make ya feel like family, and a friend. One barber of that cool chill shop is Anthony. You'll read my review and a grip of others mention this name, and there's a reason for that and that's because this man will make sure you got the cleanest of cuts and trim if you got a beard like me, one time I thought of getting rid of my beard and Anthony straight said "na don't do that" and you know what I did and boy I didn't go back until it grew back two months later because I should've trusted him but being too much of a man couldn't let him see me betray him like that. He'll give you music, movie, good restaurant recommendations. Now if you don't get Anthony, don't fret, as the other are some of the best 5 star barbers you'll ever meet and get. Look at the reviews, 550 reviews, with 4,3,2,1 star reviews being nothing but a blip it's because they are 5 star barbers and nothing less and no one's better. If you looking for a barber, new barber, or new to the area, try these guys out and you won't regret it. I think you'll even finding yourself making a another 5 star review. No matter what just remember this. They have 5 stars because they are a cut above the rest and nothing less.

Negative experience: Ive been there a few times, and theyve been okay. Theyre good for people that want tapers and fades. My experience has shown poorly the ability that they have with longer styles. I was dissapointed in that regard. Im choosing somewhere else for my next visit.

Was my barbershop 6 years ago back when I lived in SLC, had to get a cut when in town last week and Josh exceeded my expectations both with my haircut and beard trim. Negative experience: I scheduled an appointment Friday night to get a haircut with Anthony on Saturday at 10:50am. I got there 5 mins early and waited for about 15 minutes till i got back but no big deal. Went to work all day and got home about 11:30pm that night and noticed he really messed up on the lengths of each side of my hair and side burns, this wasn't the first time with westend but first with Anthony and it'll be my last.

Fantastic experience: I'm super stoked on my fresh cut from Brandon, the apprentice at Westend Barbers! That team has him on his A-game, and he's already crushing it! Josh and the other barbers were super supportive, always checking in and offering tips. They made sure I was hyped on my hair and that Brandon was comfortable throughout the whole process, from start to finish. The shop's got a sick vibe, and everyone's so encouraging. I'm definitely going back, even if it takes a bit longer - it's worth it, especially since I knew Brandon's still learning. But honestly, I'm blown away by how sick my hair turned out! He's got the support that allows him to feel confident and it shows in the end result.

Fantastic experience: Junior was absolutely amazing! I was visiting SLC from Detroit and in desperate need of a line up and Junior got me in and out with one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. Such a cool dude, we had a great convo the whole time and he made me feel like he’s been cutting my hair for years. Fantastic experience: I’ve been to this barbershop twice and will continue to go back. They were giving out donuts the last time I went in so that was a nice surprise. The first time I went I got my cut from Josh and the second time was from Jr. both were very professional and friendly. Both were straight to the point and put a ton of attention into understanding what I wanted and producing a great haircut. The barbers and the shop are good conversationalist so I did not feel any awkwardness. It’s very comfortable to chat with the barbers or to just relax and enjoy the cut. I did the normal hair and beard cut both times. Just a standard cut with no frills. But they lined me up really well and took the time to make sure everything was just right. This barbershop isn’t putting on a show. They care for their clients and want the focus to be on their product: great haircuts.

Negative experience: I am extremely dissatisfied with their behavior. Despite booking with a specific person, I was assigned a different individual, who happened to be a female. When I made a request for a male service provider, I was outright denied. As a bearded man, it is my personal preference to have a male stylist trim my beard. This refusal was highly disappointing and failed to meet my expectations and was a waste of time

Negative experience: Asked for a fade person who cut my hair doesn't know what a fade is i could have done the hair cut they gave me with a razor by myself, I asked for a fade the person didn't use any guards to fade me hair its like if someone put a bowl on my head and used a zero all around im not trying to be mean at all but person didn't try it was more like they wanted to go home they cut my hair in 5 minutes and charged me $40 dollars is there a way to get a refund? I undersand every barber is different but how can you go to barber school and cut customer's hair like that .I dont recommend this barber shop if you are going to a special event wedding etc.

Fantastic experience: Junior doesn’t play around! My barber (Junior) did a marvelous job of clearly understanding my exact wants/requests for a haircut and a hot shave. As I just spent a couple of weeks on the road, I was looking pretty “scraggly”. Junior cleaned me up and got me looking proper, for my arrival home. This is THE BEST REAL BARBERSHOP around. The barbershop itself is very clean and well maintained. It is a VETERAN OWNED/OPERATED business. Semper Fidelis!

Fantastic experience: My brother has multiple deep scars on the back of his head and a huge scar in the front where the front is shaped like a letter L. My brother has a disability and one of his disability is that he has short term memory due to an accident. Every time he see’s the scars he relives those memories when explained to him. We’ve tried multiple barbershop around Utah and none has ever succeeded. You really can’t see the scars and that’s what we were aiming for. It’s the only reason why I’m posting his pics. Overall I’d have to say when my husband brought my brother back he was on cloud nine … he loved it and my whole fams did too. The owner knew what we wanted and he came through. Thank you so much Josh.
