Negative experience: This place sucks. You schedule an appointment and they just get to you when they can. Don't schedule so many appointments if you are gonna be starting someone one or two appointments ahead of me when it's my time to get my haircut

Positive experience: Man I love this shop and Donnell is a fire barber. Today I didnt say anything and I should of but asked for mid fade no guard 4 on top. Def did not get that. Also asked for back to be rounded off and it's squared. I still tipped and all I should've said something he seems like he would've fixed it .

Fantastic experience: clean shop with great atmosphere and my boy Jon is the go to for a fresh fade always has good convos and makes you feel welcome from the start, i get me and my son a cut and the prices are not outrageous like most places! Jon takes his time and has a lot of patience for cutting toddlers and doesn't half ass the cut and try to get you out of the chair for a quick flip, so I highly recommend him if you or your child needs a clean cut.

Fantastic experience: Tonight we took our two-year-old in for his third haircut at The Varón Co. Barber Shops. He’s definitely not a fan of haircuts and gets especially upset with the buzzers. We had the pleasure of having Jon cut his hair, and he was incredibly patient and understanding the entire time. The first half of the haircut went really well, and even when our son got upset during the second half, Jon stayed calm, kind, and worked with us to get through it. The Shop is comfortable with plenty of seating everybody in there is extremely friendly and I love that they know me by name as I walk in. My favorite part is they don’t rush. They take their time and make sure there isn’t one hair out of place. I go in looking like a shaggy mess and walk out looking sharp every time. I highly recommend this place. It’s been my go to for a few years now and I don’t even look to go anywhere else.

They asked questions about styles, length, etc., and even checked to make sure they had the right length before proceeding with the rest of the cut. Negative experience: My 17 year old was so mad he told the barber to leave the length and he cut all of the length off. My 8 year old also showed him a picture and he did not leave any of his length on top he cut it all off and he took over 2 hours for two haircuts. He also gave my son a rash and cut his ear.

Negative experience: Me and my little brother got our haircut and paid 98 bucks, we had to wait for a lil bit none crazy, but the dude that cut our hair smelled and trimmed much more then i asked for and when lining me up cut the top of my ear a tiny bit. Fade was lil high but good.

Negative experience: *TERRIBLE SERVICE* DONT PAY AHEAD* DO NOT COME HERE AND DONT YOU DARE SET AN APPOINTMENT! They will have you sit for 32mins on a nasty couch like they did me just for them to allow the barber you set an appointment with take another client that walked in 30mins after you! After I saw this and seen nobody care, I just walked straight out, thank God I didn't pay in advance like they wanted!!

Fantastic experience: This barbershop is legit, old-school vibes with new-school convenience. You can walk in or book online. The barbers actually take their time, know what they’re doing, and make sure you leave looking fresh. No rushed cuts, just a clean fade and good energy.

Negative experience: They messed me up so bad I asked for a blow out taper and they gave me a very very high taper no blow out at all it was uneven on the sides and the back was in even and I asked for a trim not 3 whole inches of my hair I swear he was high or somthing

Negative experience: Worst haircut experience I asked for half a inch and he proceeded to cut most of my hair pushed my line up so back I asked for line up my hair and my head and he messed it all up by pushing it back he was so aggressive and rushy he would scrape my face hard and would hold my head aggressively and left my line up so crooked and cut me in the side of my line up

Negative experience: Traveled from N. Scottsdale for scheduled cuts for my boys. Accident on the 101 had us late by 7 mins, they didn't hold our spots. Told me after 15 mins they release the res. When I told em we weren't 15.mins late it became 10 mins then a flat " next avail at 4". Waste of time, will share this experience far and wide.

Negative experience: I wanna give this place a good rating but I can’t due to my experience, I asked to keep the length ontop and even the back with my sides due to me having a burst fade 6 months before. Instead he gave me a low skin fade and took about 70% of my top hair length. Not a good place to give directions!!!

Fantastic experience: First, I'm 70+ and have been trying to find a barber who gives shaves and can trim a handle bar mustache has been a pain well found it. Saw Varon, driving by and so looked them up, made appointment ( something new). Shop is very nice. Clean and very friendly. Aldo was who the computer sent me to, and it was a great choice. Aldo was great. It was a very professional haircut ( just the way I liked it)and excellent mustache trim. The next round will add a shave as well.

Fantastic experience: Been going to this shop for about a year now and they are all amazing barbers. Every time I am here it is booked and busy and on the off chance there is downtime you see them interacting and learning from each other on how to improve their craft. I always go to Stein or Donnell but have been impressed with the work done by everyone there and anytime someone asks where I’ve got my cut I always direct them here!

Fantastic experience: This guy Gabe is the Michael Jordan of babers. I have been going to him for months and he never misses. Also he is just overall a good dude. But there's one issue. His fades are too clean. I got faded up a couple of hours ago and I'm getting way too much attention from girls(THEY WILL NOT STOP GRABBING MY JOHNSON). Someone please send help, I can not keep up with the demand(I think it's going to fall off).

Negative experience: I made an appointment for my son for a haircut. We arrived about 5 minutes before our scheduled appointment. The barber was working on someone else when we arrived, but that's not a big deal. However, after making us wait over 45 minutes, while he worked on this other person even though we had a scheduled appointment, was unacceptable. I value my time and when I make an appointment, I expect my time to be respected. I will never go back to this place because my time was not respected. I get things happen, but over 45 minutes past our appointment time is absolutely ridiculous.
