Fantastic experience: We go to this place a lot for husband and x2 boys cuts. Very quick wait times, boys enjoy a pool game while waiting. We enjoy the loyalty card and get a free cut after every 5 cuts. They are always pleased with their haircuts and friendly service.

Fantastic experience: I went to this barbershop for a haircut and I was very happy with the result. From today on, this will be my go to place for future haircuts. The quality of the service was excellent and the customer care was great as well. I had my haircut with Rodrigo, an Argentinian barber who was very attentive and managed to exceed my expectations. The price is fair for the quality of the service provided. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Won’t be returning. I didn’t get anything close to what I asked for, the cut was very choppy and uneven. During my appointment, the owner was busy chatting with a friend, and two of the other barbers were cutting each other’s hair while there was a buildup of walk-in customers waiting. Their conversation was unprofessional and uncomfortable to overhear. Aside from the owner, the other barbers appeared very young and inexperienced. The service was absolutely not worth $45. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has so many 5-star reviews. Edit: After posting this review, the owner contacted me via text and was extremely rude. I have now updated this to a one-star review and attached photos (photos are from where I got my hair cut fixed)

But honestly, it’s the most expensive I’ve come across in Christchurch for a short haircut + short beard trim. 65 $ for such a simple service is definitely above the usual prices in town. Needing my hair cut desperately I quickly booked at Fresh Barber and recieved the absolute best service from Mo. He did everything so well with a friendly and professional attitude, he even offered for me to come back tomorrow and get my hair styled for free before a weeding I am attending. Top notch quality service, will 100% be coming back

Positive experience: I requested a mid burst fade in the sides “only” without touching anything in the top or back. However this barber came up with his own idea and trimmed most of my hair down which I didn’t give consent to, and gave me a suggestion with a v at the back but I hesitated and tried to say no but said yes anyways. I think the barbers need to listen more to their customers because it’s about what the customers want and not what the barbers want. However I’m still happy with my fade but next time, no suggestions from the barber.
