Negative experience: Seems this hairdresser isn’t setup for kids, nothing to distract so 3yo ended up looking like Jim Carrey from Dumb & Dumber. Had to go to Bay Barbers to fix it… It was cheap though so I guess you get what you pay for.

Negative experience: The lady is nice but that's where it ends. Hair cut was wonky (one side longer then the other for the blend by double the length). She was unable to do a straight edge line up for my beard, and had to use a stencil piece to guide the curved line up. She left a lot of hair on my upper cheek. Then to top it off she didn't have change so I had to run around the village to try and find change for her. Would not recommend going here. Student cuts for a premium price. perhaps should rename to men's cuts and remove the barber as the beard work is very poor. I cant reply to the shops response so ill put it here; 1) I'm glad he was pleased, I certainly was not. 2) The photo was taken no less then 1 hour after I had left your shop. 3) The beard trim was complimentary as you were unable to provide the service you advertised as I had requested. Instead you had to rely on a plastic stencil guide held to my face, in a shape which was not what I had asked for when I initially sat in the chair and we discussed the hair cut and beard trim/tidy. Had I not said anything you would have charged me for it. Never have I had a "professional" need to used a plastic guide for a beard trim. 4) Most shops also offer pay wave, which you did not have. I offered bank transfer but you did not accept. Not a major by its self but when added to the overall experience, its something prospective customer should be aware of. 5) I did not have the time available to come back and it would not be fair on you to wait until the following weekend to receive payment for services rendered. 6) You advertise "Professional Beard Trim & tidy" per your website. You advertise yourself as a "barber". This is someone who specializes in men's hair cuts, beard cuts, trims & shaves. If you require a stencil in order to provide this service, it raises questions as to the level of your skills and expertise as said "barber". Perhaps it would be wise to spend some time at an actual barber shop to learn the skills to be able to provide the service you advertise. Unfortunately my local barber moved to Aussie, so returning to him would be far from practical. I told you as such so saying this here in response to a valid complaint, I feel, is a little passive aggressive. None the less, I will continue my hunt for a barber who I can frequent. I must thank you as this experience has taught me that despite never having encountered this problem at any advertised barber shop, I should not rely on the fact that just because the shop advertises as a barber, looks like a barber and claims to be be a barber, this does not actually mean they are barber. Usually if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, well then its a duck... in this case the duck was a turkey.

Negative experience: Took my son here after reading reviews but unfortunately we didn’t have the same positive experience. I asked for a #2 on sides and back and scissors on top. She didn’t use any scissors. When I asked if she could blend the top half to the bottom half I was told “this is the best I can do”. My son had cut a small piece of his own fringe which we talked about in the shop but there was no attempt made to make it look any better. She knew I wasn’t happy and offered a half price cut. Paid $12
