Fantastic experience: Good lads fresh cut everytime

Negative experience: I went in without an appointment because the shop was empty and they told me to come in. The barber who cut my hair was actually sleeping and the other barber had to wake him up to cut my hair. The whole haircut took about 10 minutes and the sides are completely uneven. It’s honestly the worst haircut I’ve ever had. I paid €28 which is very expensive for the quality and the time spent. Very disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: It was my first time at this barber shop but it won’t be the last for sure. The staff was very friendly and he definitely know what he was doing. The welcoming, the chat we had while getting my hair cut was something you enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Excellent barbershop, just went there and ask if there was any availability, so walk-ins are welcome. Gabriel is nice and professional. The shave was perfect and quick, he perfectly did what I had requested. The shop is small and full of famous records on the walls, the service is great. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Going to the Boxx for years. Great barbershop. Gustavo is the man in the IFSC and Sam is the man in Finglas. Prices are a little steep (but so many places are these days) so I try to only go there when I can see the barbers I want. If you can get the more experienced barbers it's definitely worth it, rather pay for the quality.

Negative experience: I have to admit I am very surprised by all the good ratings. I have lived in 5 countries in Europe during the past 12 years, and I just moved to Dublin. This haircut what I got is by far the worst I had in my life. Two days after the haircut I noticed that the cut is just uneven literally all around my head, basically I need to get another one asap not to look like a crazy person. I've already thought beforehand that 30 minutes is a very short timeframe for a proper haircut (in the past years it rarely happened that somebody cut my hair properly below 1 hour). For a 30 minutes appointment and for a bad haircut 28 euros is just crazy. I understand that rent and life in general is expensive in Dublin but the quality altogether with the price is rather just outrageous in my opinion.

Negative experience: Bang average. Would not recommend a fade for anyone. Never going back

Negative experience: I took a haircut with Gustavo. I would rate the haircut quiet average. He was in a hurry to finish the haircut and ended up something very different from what i asked. Maybe it is better to try with the other two barbers, who seemed kinder and were taking their time to give a proper haircut

Negative experience: Going here (ifsc) since the price was €18, its now €26! (Two increase just at the start of covid and another during covid, now another due to restoration of the vat rate. Not once has the price reduced when the vat was 9%. No tip to staff as its too expensive, and will be trying out other barbers. Gouging!

Negative experience: Got a cut from Ronan, Literally butchered, got home and one side is faded the other is basically a step from short hair to long hair, asked for a mid fade, got an extremely high fade, even my fringe was one sided. Never again will I go there. Replying to the below response, the barber was nice, but how are you meant to fix the issue ?? Make my hair miraculously grow back then cut it again.
