Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Cut and Sew for years and all the barbers are top class, special shout out to Sean for always delivering top class cuts and great conversation, legend of the industry, highly recommended.

Was a pleasure to talk to and the time flew by. The shop was immaculate and everyone was extremely welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone and I will 100% be back!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had two haircuts in Cut + Sew, one with Matteo (when he was still there) and one with Sean. Couldn’t recommend the lads more! I have medium/long hair and always had issues with barbers taking off a bit too much but both Sean and Matteo really got the vibe, and fit what I was looking for while throwing in some recommendations! Additionally, all the people who work in Cut + Sew from my experiences are super sound, always a great conversation to be had! Looking forward to going back soon!

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place genuinely deserves it. Hands down one of the best barber experiences I’ve had. Cut + Sew just gets it. From the minute you walk in, the place feels right. Clean, stylish, buzzing without being loud or forced, and full of good energy. Sean, the owner, really sets the tone. He has a calm confidence and an infectious energy that lifts the whole room without needing to make a show of it, and you can feel that reflected in how everyone works. The cut was top class, sharp and clean, exactly what I wanted, and I walked out feeling fresh and comfortable. More than anything, it felt like a place where people genuinely care, and that makes all the difference. C&S will be my go-to forever.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Cut and Sew Barbers in Dublin for the past seven years, and I can honestly say it’s far more than just a place to get a haircut. Yes, the barbers are incredibly skilled and the haircuts are consistently top-class, but what truly sets Cut and Sew apart is everything beyond the chair. My barber, Sean, perfectly embodies what Cut and Sew stands for. On my last visit, while waiting for my turn, I couldn’t help but smile as I watched him go out of his way to communicate with an Italian family in the shop. Their English was limited, Sean’s Italian even more so, but that didn’t matter. Through humour, patience and genuine effort, he found a way to connect with them and make them feel completely welcome. It was a small moment, but one that said everything about the values of this place. Cut and Sew truly goes the extra mile to make people feel seen, comfortable and part of something. It’s rare to find a barbershop that delivers such consistently great haircuts and such a strong sense of belonging. After seven years, I wouldn’t go anywhere else and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Fantastic experience: I came to Ireland not expecting to get a haircut and so thankful I did. My hair was cut by Emma and she was amazing! Great haircut yes, but just such a warm, funny and wonderful conversation the whole time. Scott also was lovely to meet. Highly recommend and you'll be well looked after by either of the team. Positive experience: Today, I've got a nice and simple haircut. No complaints about both the cut and service, but the price was pretty high. 50 Euro for a man's haircut (nothing fancy, just a regular cut) is too expensive in my opinion. /reply to the owner: I've booked my haircut at the shop at Lord Edward Street, and got it done on the 12th of July at 11 am. I paid 20 Euro the day before when I booked the cut (no-show fee) and then another 30 Euro after the haircut on the 12th. I'm also sure that my barber didn't forget the no-show fee, since I explicitly asked him whether it is 30 Euro on top of the 20 Euro I'd already paid the day before and he confirmed it was another 30.

He replied to my first email within an hour, was professional, a great communicator, and super passionate about his craft. He is a meticulous and dedicated barber - made sure everything lined up and not a single hair was out of place. Super friendly guy too (as were the rest of the staff I talked to). Great environment in there.

Thats the kind of stuff youll rarely see at an affordable barber like this.

Negative experience: I had hoped this would be a positive review but it just can't be. I'll say that the person servicing me (which I believe to be the owner) was friendly and nothing about this is about the person itself which was lovely but simply a matter of skill and attention to detail. I've booked a haircut and beard package. I typically go for dead-easy military style haircuts: 1mm all around. So let's talk about this haircut: even though it's essentially the "covid haircut", somehow after getting home both me and my girlfriend noticed uneven hair especially in the front. I'm not sure how that can happen but it did. Regarding the beard, I said I wanted it "to be shaped". So hair made mostly the same size, a bit of shave for any hair in a non-beard position, etc. To be honest that did not happen. The cut was what I could have done at home with my electric shaver. No razor, no nothing. The whole matter lasted probably 15-20 minutes. Now to be fair he did not charge me full price (only 30) and said to just book a haircut next time and they'll do the beard also. This was great, but do you guys think that price was the reason I went to this barber? There's 10 euro barbers out there that could provide the same if I wanted to go cheap. I wanted a professionally done service for the price requested, which doesn't seem unreasonable. Again, the people seemed lovely but a business is to be judged also by the service provided and despite the many good reviews here on Google maps my experience has been anything but. Maybe the easiness of the job made it careless who knows. Anyways I won't be returning - there's frankly far too many barbers around to take another chance. To the owner: you won't the name on gmaps in your records, so I wouldn't bother looking it up, but the description is accurate so you'll know it's true. --- Update to owner: I was indeed booked with Aaron but then you took me in after asking me what I wanted done. Indeed you do do discounts as you can check my apple pay transaction and booking confirmation. Thanks for confirming you can't take criticism for everyone here on display - I got receipts buddy .
