Negative experience: I recently visited this shop to tidy up a haircut that had already been poorly done elsewhere. Unfortunately, I left with my hair in a worse condition than when I arrived. It was a disappointing experience and certainly not what I had hoped for when coming in for a simple correction. This experience has definitely been a lesson learned. The high price point — over €40 for a haircut — gave the impression of experience and quality, but unfortunately that was not reflected in the result. Price alone clearly isn’t always an indicator of skill or service.

Negative experience: An absolute disappointment! The website says ‘by appointment only.’ An appointment was booked, and a €3 fee was charged. At the scheduled time (9:00 AM), the shop was closed. Absolutely not recommended!

Fantastic experience: Jordan made my first experience in my new home city awesome. Great convo, made me feel very comfortable and gave some great advice as I try to grow my hair out and try a new style.even with some minimal cutting in this session he took time and care to make sure I knew what was happening and why.

Update Manager got in touch and booked me in with Jordan in Exchequer street. Difference was night and day. Full consultation, offered drink as soon as I walked in. Great cut by Jordan. Excellent customer service in Exchequer Street.

Fantastic experience: Got my hair cut here today by Jake . He started off by washing my hair. Into a skin fade and a beard trim. He done a amazing job . Usually when I get a hair cut I've to wait a week for it to grow into the hair cut I originally wanted at the start. But Jake came through and done exactly what I wanted and even more . Fantastic service . Was welcomed politely by staff who took my coat and made me a lovely coffee while I waited. Would highly recommend this place and will be my new regular from now on . 10/10. Negative experience: Disappointed in their dishonest behaviour! Today 1 hr before my appointment I got called to be rebooked from Jordan, as he is running late - only available barber is Alex. Upon asking if Alex is an experienced barber ( Cos I’m not going there for a buzz cut) they say yes very much so. I say ok fine by me. Just to be sure I go on their Instagram page to check and I discover that Alex is “posted” as a new Barber on Training on the 15th of October - he also does free haircuts every Tuesday… Upon complaining on the phone about why they gave me a trainee even if i specifically asked for an experienced one, they insist that he is a senior barber even if he costs less… I’ve never heard of a fastest career progression, from internship to senior in 10 days, well done Alex!! Congrats!! But you definetly won’t cut my hair today (not your fault, don’t take it personally- looking forward to see you in 3 weeks when according to Sugar Daddy you’ll be the Messi of barbering).

Fantastic experience: I had booked at a different Barbers, the day before I was to go to a wedding and they canceled at really short notice. Thankfully Sugardaddy was able to fit me in, which was such a relief. I was also really pleased with my haircut and the service from Jordan, who was really patient and attentive to detail.

Negative experience: I wouldn’t return to this salon. I booked in with Jordan. He seems to be in rush, he was literally banging the trimmer on my head and pulling my head left right and center. I never had to tilt my head so much for a haircut. Maybe I expected a bit more but had better experiences in a Grafton barber that charges half the price. No smile-y faces in the shop. Haircut is ok. Sam’s barber and The Ink salon are way better and more friendly. Haircut: ⭐️ ⭐️ Service/Experience: ⭐️

Negative experience: Charging me €35 for cutting my hair so aggressively is insane. I might have gotten unlucky with the person who cut me, but the overall haircut was decent.

Fantastic experience: Nice atmosphere, they always offer you water, coffee and sometimes even whiskey. Haircuts are great and they give you hot towels in the end to remove any hair from your face etc... service is also great.

Fantastic experience: If after a few days your hair continues to simply fall into place without drama then it’s been properly cut (and not just savaged). These guys know how to use a pair of scissors and a set of clippers.

Negative experience: Get some barbers for the other shop, maybe a professional, hair cut from the guy with the blade tattoo doesn’t worth 35 euro,!1 hour for a just skin fade? You kidding me? And my ears was in pain because your guy was thinking probably give a haircut to a sheep or I don’t know! you can get better hair cut and friendly environment in just 30 min for 25 euro! Just disappointed!!!

Fantastic experience: I booked in with Thomas a couple of weeks ago. He welcomed me into the shop taking my overcoat along with offering me a whiskey. The old fashioned he served was top notch! The best was yet to come. Thomas then gave me a great haircut, listened to me in great detail. Previous barbers have always rushed me. I'd recommend Thomas to anyone looking for a haircut in the D2 area. He is a credit to the shop that he works.

Fantastic experience: Booking was quick, great location. Marcelo was ready as soon as I walked in, he was very hospitable, asked me what I would like and got right down to it. Along the way he gave me great tips and ways I can achieve the haircut I want. Within 30 minutes at that, at local barbers it sometimes take 30 minutes or more to even sit down into the chair. Going in I was wondering if the extra price over local barbers will be worth it... it was very well worth it. Not over exaggerating, I walked out with the nicest cut I had in a long, long time. Marcelo managed to absolutely nail the cut I wanted and I couldnt have been more happy. He gave me more tips on how to style the cut going forward and I was on my way. I absolutely recommend the spot and Marcelo as a braber, I will definitely return. Great job.
