Negative experience: My son had a horrible cut from here a few months ago (completely crooked bangs) but we thought we’d give them another shot. Then tonight, we go and we were told we’d have to wait 5-10 minutes. 35 minutes later no one had said anything to us, the receptionist sat on their phone the entire time and then didn’t even look up when we got up and left. Might be time for some new staff policies there management.

Negative experience: My husband got a haircut, simply buzz cut which they screwed up. He booked his appointment with someone specific and we he arrived they told him they are busy but 3 others are available, he said I booked with Minjee but they said you have to wait, so with the pressure he agreed to get it but they left him with long hairs in the back and in the front, not really well done. We drove back to get it fixed but the person at the front said it looked good and he had to wait if he wanted it fix but not even a sorry and no worries we can double check and fix it. Easy rule of customer service, if the customer says is not right and doesn’t feel okay why not accommodate.

Negative experience: I’ve been going to Tommy Gun’s for over 3 years and usually had a good experience, but today was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. For the first time, I left feeling really disappointed. The barber seemed unsure of what she was doing — rushed through everything, couldn’t blend properly, and gave me a completely unwanted fade. I get that it’s a busy Sunday, but that shouldn’t mean rushing through a haircut and ruining someone’s hair. Really unfortunate experience this time.

Negative experience: holy crap they basically cut off all my hair i would give 0 stars but you cant

Negative experience: I asked to have the back and sides faded and nothing off the top and they cut 2/3 of my hair off. If you don’t know how to cut black hair then just say that and I’ll go somewhere else. You can’t cut it wet and you need to comb it out before you cut it. You can’t just start hacking away at it. Worst haircut I’ve had in a long time.

Negative experience: Went in for a hair cut and hot shave, worst hot shave I’ve ever had. I could tell the girl didn’t know what she was doing by the way she was sing the razor! After she was done, I looked when I left and I had patches of hair eveywhere! Half my face wasn’t even shaved! Never going back!

Positive experience: The quality of the cut really depends on which barber you get. I got a haircut a few years ago and it was the best haircut I've ever had. Got another one a while back and it was just okay. But the one I got today is just awful. I said I wanted 2 inches off hair that was chin-length and got only 2 inches of hair total. I kept wanting the tail off the back taken off (it grows much faster than the rest), but they kept cutting the rest of my hair to keep the tail there. Now I'm stuck with this awkward weirdly-shaped cut with family pictures coming up this weekend.

Fantastic experience: We had our 2 sons first ever cuts here few weeks ago. Our 5 year old and 2 year old whom have grown their hair since birth. Our 5 year old is Autistic and we were not sure how he would react. It was a very tough decision and also a very emotional one. First hairdresser attempted to start with our 5 year old. Did not go well, but another hair dresser stepped forward. She handled everything with patience, kindness, understanding, and alot of care. His cut was very emotional with his hair being up to his bottom. The first hair dresser did not step away though! She took on our 2 year old and got the job done with same standards. With how stressful the decision was, and how emotional the experience was they helped alleviate so much. We have been going here for over a year and will always come here for cuts from now on. Thank you so much, from my family.

Negative experience: My boyfriend went there today in an emergency hair cut. He was given a non Canadian male. First of all he didn’t speak English and my boyfriend couldn’t understand what he was saying. Then the barber continued to cut way more than was asked off. I feel it is not right that in higher class barber that there is guy who can’t understand his clients and is it doing his job correct to the point that we will never be going to a Tommy Guns again. Doesn’t matter where they are that experience has wreaked all of the barber shops.

Negative experience: Very poor first experience. I took my son in for his first haircut. Called before we went in and was told they accept walk ins. Drove into the city from our farm (40klms west of saskatoon) and was asked to wait between an hour and and hour and a half. No problem. We arrived at 1pm. With the wait we went to Walmart and came back at 2:15. Was asked to wait another 10-15 minutes. No problem. We sat and waited until 3pm. Another 45 minutes. They finally called his name so I told him I would wait outside with his dad, and to come and get me when he was done. 5 minutes later my son walked out to the car and said they told him that he would have to wait longer cause they called the wring name. It was 3:10 when we left. He left with no haircut. We will not be back. If I could give 0 stars for customer service, I would.

Negative experience: They are great for products but don't ask for details because they can't do it... they completely failed at cutting and detailing my son's hair........and the girl even had a picture to follow and she still screwed up. Had to go to a different place to get it fixed for picture day. Will never get my sons hair cut here again. Below is what he asked for and the second is what he got.so unimpressed what a waste of 30$ wish we could get our money back.

Positive experience: Good service. Politeness of the front-desk staff over the phone, and in person in appreciated. A better way to handle advance appointment bookings would be nice (like a day or two in advance atleast, instead of having to call early right on day of haircut). An SMS about appointment confirmation should be added. I believe the rates of different types of haircuts / colors / services should be easily visible even from customer’s seat, for better decision making, without having to get off the seat and go check with the front-desk. I believe that gives a good visibility of expected expenses. Anyway, overall I like the service and I am a regular here.

Yesterday, we visited the Stone Bridge location in Saskatoon and had the opportunity for Bree to cut his hair. She was fun and outgoing and did the most amazing haircut. My son loves it and said that he only wants to see Bree from now on. She was precise and detail oriented. Thank you, Bree!!!

Negative experience: Terrible to get into. The appointment system sucks. How is it 2 minutes after opening they are completely booked when you try online then you call them 100 times and finally a hour later they answer. Brutal customer service. Went there once and never again..

Negative experience: My husband took my 4 year old son there today for a scissor haircut to the Stonebridge location. The barber guy who did it was not very kid friendly towards my son and when he got home his front hair was unevenly cut and it still looked messy and untrimmed in places. I had heard good things about this barber shop for kids but was very dissapointed in the service.. my son was not even crying or upset during and it was still not well cut.

Positive experience: I've been getting haircuts and hot shaves here for years, but the service has been lacking on my last few visits. To the point where I left without ANY service on my last visit. .. was there for haircuts for my son and I. An hour after we arrived, my son was finished and I wasn't even started yet...by this point I was out of time and unwilling to make my child sit in the waiting area any longer. Very disappointing, your time means nothing to this business. Signed an ex happy customer.

Positive experience: I took my son in for a trim on Monday, and gal who did the cut did a pretty good job. I’m not sure that she does very many cuts on small children though. My son almost 2 1/2, and is usually a very busy kid. She took quite a while to do the cut as she kept going over the same areas multiple times, then was a bit exasperated when he got tired of sitting still and started getting wiggly. All in all it was an okay experience, just took longer than expected.
