Negative experience: Went to get my hair done and beard, lady wasn't in the best mood, did my beard, never did a hot shave just used trimmer on it lt to line it up and it turned out horrible along with haircut, spend 69 bucks for no reason and ended up paying another 50 dollars to get it fixed at other place! Horrible experience and definitely will never be back

Negative experience: I went for a second cut. First was nice. But different person second time. Told him blend in both sides. He cut one side straight otherside looked awesome. Parted my hair over to look decent. Now I have to grow it out and get re-done.

Negative experience: My Daughter came there Saturday, January 25th for a trim and some subtle layers. The woman that cut her hair cut over 4 inches off and butchered her hair completely. It looked like a 5 year old cut her hair. On top of that charged her almost 40 dollars. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS PLACE

Fantastic experience: My fussy 12 year old hates haircuts but he loved this one! Definitely the place to go with the moody teenagers lol

Negative experience: I got a hot towel shave for $50, the next day my face looked like he used a cheese grater on me. If you pay for a hot towel shave it shouldn't look like it was done with a dull disposable razor. Don't bother getting shave from here.

Negative experience: My last experience was about 2 months ago now but I checked in when is said 40 minute wait and after about 2 hours of checking back and It still saying there was a wait time I simply went to ultra cuts instead as I had no time and no choice. Wouldn't go to Tommy Guns again.

Negative experience: There’s nobody sitting in the place for a haircut or a beer trim the second time I’ve been in this place and they tell me it’s a 20 minute wait when there’s a supposedly a barber standing at the chill but I guess she doesn’t do beards but Works as a barber explain that to me

Positive experience: After my haircut, I told the woman cutting my hair, "I don't mean to be rude, but this is the worst haircut I've ever got." One of the barbers, Laura, intervened, and made the haircut much better. So three cheers for Laura! She was professional and competent and I wish I'd booked an appointment with her in the first place. Book an appointment with Laura!

Negative experience: used to come here all the time, but when I brought my boyfriend in for a haircut the person was extremely snotty and rude, and told us we'd either have to wait there for a couple hours or book online, no more making an in person appointment and getting a text to come back when they're ready for you. Never coming back. Don't know if it's regular snotty behavior or if they specifically looked down on us for being a gay couple but frankly they should be disappointed in themselves.

Fantastic experience: My barber, Paige, was very sociable. She was knowledgeable about my hair type. She was very gentle and made relaxing possible during my first time her styling me. Definitely will be back in to have her be my full time barber.

Negative experience: If I could give less I absolutely would. Usually love this place, my son and I go for our hair cuts here it's awesome. Today how ever was not. After my sons was done (we get it done at same time) the lady sends him upfront alone (he always comes with me after his while mine finishes) she puts him a stool taller then my child right beside the door by himself and leaves, and to top it off this is by far the worst hair cut I've ever saw on a kid and I'm taking him elsewhere directly after to get it fixed

Negative experience: I was there for a haircut, there was no hot face cloth or a head massage provided. I always to go tommy guns all over the map and have received exceptional service. For some reason it didn't feel the same here.

Negative experience: NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE HERE! I booked myself an appt for a hair cut and colour, only to get there and have the original stylist pass me off to another one as she was didnt have the time and feel comfy colouring my hair. I was then moved to another stylist (both were great people) and long story short, my hair was bleached blonde and was patchy with orange is some areas and yellow in others. I took a pic and sent to manager Lisa and she offered a redo, on her time frame. I work 2 positions and the time I have off is valuable to me. Lisa then wrote me an email tell me how "i failed" to show up to the redo appts and how they were rescinding the offer to fix it. Funny thing is I emailed to cancel the first one and then slept through the second one (my fault). I wont be chastised for working hard for my savings. Oh well, time to go somewhere else, I wouldnt bother with this location.

Fantastic experience: The place is tidy, the two lovely receptionist are very welcoming, and the guy at the far end that cuts my hair deserves a raise...

Negative experience: If you have medium-longer beard don't get a trim here wiped 6 inches of my face. (Cut a huge tuft off one side) didn't asked for how many inches off or anything just grabbed and scissored off a years worth of growth i felt ill looking at it after. I asked to just clean up the fly aways and edges.

Negative experience: Our barber was friendly and seemed to listen to what we were asking for in a haircut for our son. We were very unimpressed though with the haircut - it was not the style that we asked for and his neck and side burns were not shaved. I don't think we will visit Tommy Guns again since each haircut we've had has been hit and miss.

Negative experience: Checked in online for a haircut as the wait was over 2hrs. So I called after an hour and a half, they told me it's 40min yet. So I made my way in from out of town and when I get there to check in they tell me I still have to wait over 2hrs yet. Not impressed.

Negative experience: Absolutely pathetic management style. I called and made a booking. Drove in from out of town for my appointment and was told I’d have to wait at least an hour. My day is planned and don’t have time for that.?What’s the point of making an appointment if they are going to screw you around like that?!

Negative experience: Booked on the app for appointment for my husband and son. Was advised it would be approx. 60 minutes. Got there and was advised it would be about 15. Turned it waiting another 60 minutes. Then was told my husband didn't even book. need to get timing right and app figured out.

Fantastic experience: Brought my son(7) here for his first salon haircut. The young man who did his hair was great! He was patient and did a great job on the cut my son wanted. A night and day difference from the hair he walked in with. Thank you!

Positive experience: Tommy Guns is a wonderful business with excellent service. However, there is a problem at least at the 51st store in Saskatoon. I ask does this scenario seem fair? Say you are standing in line with 5 other people waiting for the door to open. Upon opening you walk to the reception desk only to be informed there is a waiting time of 30 mins. The same thing happens to the next 4 people. However, the 5th person who used his cellphone to book precisely at door opening time is welcomed and seated right away. Nice to have on-line booking. However, given you cannot book until the doors are open it seems this business model condones que jumping through the use of a cellphone. This happened to me and my wife. I was first in and I got accepted. My wife was right behind me but she and the next 4 people were informed that there was a 30 min wait. However, the 5th person who used a cellphone to book was accepted immediately. Surely Tommy Guns could have a door opening policy that doesn't encourage cellphone que jumping.

Fantastic experience: When I need to look fresh there's only one barber shop I trust and it's Tommy Gun's, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. They give great haircuts with their years of experience and they'll have you looking like a brand new person in no time

Negative experience: Would give 0 stars if i could this tommy gun is trash went in and lady did me dirty and didn’t even show me what the back of my head looked like just said yup its done she rushed it and just didn’t give a ….

Negative experience: They keep raising prices, and now the ONLY value they still offered was their stamp cards where you get 10 cuts and the next is free.... they just discontinued doing that, but didn't lower prices to compensate. Time to go somewhere else.

Negative experience: Pretty much sick and tired of TommyGuns. I go to the same one haven’t going to the same one for years and it’s steadily gotten worse and worse and worse now you pretty much have to call the second that they open if you hope to even get in in the day when they used to accept walk-ins but now they basically schedule people well if you have to schedule then that’s what they should tell customers TommyGuns started based on their walking customer service and that service is terrible. Now I will be finding a different place to get my haircut. Going forward. I won’t even talk about the ridiculous price for a very simple haircut and the lack of service will getting the haircut.

Negative experience: Sent my 13 yr old son in to get any haircut he wanted for his upcoming grad. He decided to keep it longer, so they "trimmed" it. They didn't even clean up and redo his hard- part. You can't even tell he got his hair cut. They charged full price for something I could have easily done at home myself for nothing--and I would have done it better because I would have razored in the hard part. Very disappointed.

Positive experience: This location you either need to arrange a ride here or be prepared to pay for parking as it is located in the mall. My son got his hair cut here and they did a great job, its usually booked here so download the app its very helpful in finding out spot availability and wait times. Ive always been a fan of Tommy Guns. If your like me its just hard to find a barber that fits. I like the diversity at this location.
