Fantastic experience: I always get Amanda H, best barber ever!! Always a great cut, every time. The only one to cut my hair for 7 years and counting (other when I shaved my head during Covid).

Negative experience: Didn't get the service that was advertised

Negative experience: Fella from Syria did not do what I asked. even when I tried my best to understand him and communicate with him. He was also cutting my hair while he watched a soccer match on his phone. I’ve been growing my mullet out for a while and he cut it off I showed him a picture and said I want to keep my mullet and he didn’t listen at all. I don’t plan to return if I’m being honest.

Fantastic experience: Vince cuts my son’s hair , who has autism and always does such a great job. His vibe is very comforting for my son; I never feel judged there.

Fantastic experience: I went to the Preston Crossing location and had Vince as my stylist. He gave me one of the best cuts in recent memory. I don’t live in Saskatoon, but will be making an appointment with him specifically, next time I’m in town.

Negative experience: Great place to go if you want to spend 45 dollars to get the most disapointing hair cut of your life. Two times now I’ve had to get another hair dresser to fix my hair the same day. Tommy Bums will not fool me again

Negative experience: About a year ago, a Syrian guy cut my hair here, I believe his name was Mohamed.this was the cut he gave me. They made me pay 40 dollars for it, gave me a juice box, and I think even a discount on the cut. I didint know why until I went home that day and saw the cut. If you can’t do skin fade just say that, and Refer me to someone else. Don’t say you can do something when you can’t. Genuinely what is this.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this location! Darrell does a fantastic job cutting men’s hair and trimming beards. He is the only person who cares about your beard more than you do Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Got the worst haircut of life ever yesterday from some lady. Called in and was put on the wait list. Asked for something that’s very easily done but my regular barber (at another shop) was not available so ended up here. On top of that the lady who cut my hair had the worst breath I’ve ever smelt mouth breathing directly in my face as she cut it. Would not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Been here twice for a beard trim and as I'm bald. I just do my own hair and get beard trimmed. It's cost me $60 with tip everytime even tho I just tell them beard trim! I will be finding a cheaper place just to do beards. Beside that it's great but not what I asked for and very expensive for what I need. They actually reached out to me and corrected this issue and I'm very happy they did. This the exact way you do business! 1 star turned into 5

Negative experience: I went there today wanting a low taper fade and the guy doing my hair gave me a regular high fade, I am very disappointed and pissed at the job he did. I also told him trim a little off the top and he decided to trim around 2 inches off the top. Told him no product and he guess what he does, puts product in my hair. I also got no shampoo and conditioner

Fantastic experience: My son had such a wonderful experience getting his haircut here. The gentleman who cut his hair was kind, patient, and really took the time to make my son feel comfortable. You could tell he cared about both the details of the haircut and the overall experience. When he was finished, my son was absolutely beaming—so proud of his new look! It was more than just a haircut; it was a confidence boost. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Negative experience: I phoned today at 19h24 the lady told me to come in 1hr. Reached there at 20h20 she had to ask the barber if he can take me and finally told me he can't because im not on a waiting list. What's the purpose of calling before then!!??

Negative experience: I usually dont post reviews, I spend hundreds of dollars annually at Tommy, and all the good people have left. Today, I had to deal with a rockie who literally made my hair look like the joker! Complete disaster! I did not have my reading glasses, so I could not see the details until I got home, and when I got there, I was shocked, and I did not believe it! I called the store and asked to speak with a manager to share my disappointment and feedback, and they did not care. I will never ever step a foot in this place, I will boycott them and share my terrible experience with everyone! Avoid this place!

Negative experience: I was in there today. I went online for the products and it showed they had them in stock. I get there ask a few questions and the product I wanted was not on the shelf. It seemed everything I googled and wanted they did not have. The receptionist was rude when I said that the web site said the product was in store. I did get my haircut once there and I WAS going to use the same barber instead of going somewhere else. Well thanks to the receptionist for customer true colors and losing a customer. I will not step foot in any Tommy guns anywhere. So sad that a receptionist and a website make a person go other places !!

Negative experience: I’m not sure if it’s because they mostly do men’s cuts, but my hair was not treated delicately. The hair drying and combing process was very rough, aggressive, and quite painful. The haircut turned out very nice, but the process to get there was not ideal.

Negative experience: Got a haircut but I didn’t like the cut because it was not the same that i showed him so he asked me double money and i was ready to give him that much money .although i gave him double money he was rude and didn’t fixed my hair that i wanted . He denied me to fix my hair although i gave him double money.

Negative experience: I got a cut and beard trim by Anthony last weekend. Very nice person but really did not seem to pay attention at all to the haircut, then didnt know how to trim beards so got someone else to do it (which is fine). The other guy did a beard trim great. My sister came home this weekend and has cut hair for many years. She couldnt believe how crooked and uneven the haircut was that I received from Anthony. She was flaberghasted how bad it was and basically had to give me an entire new haircut. The haircut is the reason I went there and it was not good.

I called this location and asked if they could fix it, they got me in right away. Taylor and Woolf were great, understanding and did everything right so I felt valued. Fantastic experience: I had a great visit yesterday. I was able to walk in off the street without an appointment. It was nice to not have to wait for three weeks to get a haircut that I was already overdue for. Anthony was ready to go as soon as I walked in the door. He asked me a few questions about what I wanted but I kind of left it for him to do his thing. During the haircut Anthony was easy to talk to and he kept the conversation going with no awkward pauses. At the same time, he was efficiently giving me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time. I’m no model and Anthony didn’t have a lot to work with but I felt about 10 years younger when I looked in the mirror this morning.

Fantastic experience: I called ahead and they gave me a time to show up. When I did, Daryl was ready and gave me a great cut and shampoo. Hot towel at end was a nice touch. Over the past few years, waiting times have been minimal. Very good value.

Fantastic experience: Heres a story for you. U want a good sharp 80s lookin mullet? One that puts billy ray cyrus’s to shame? My buddy Anthony will fix you up. Go to preston location. i went to the Blairmore location wanting one and the stylist there attempted a mullet but gave me a real modern one that the kids now are getting which is just a very flat mohawk with all the same length hair its party in the front and party in the back. Zero buisness. and my lord it was just terrible second i got out the chair hat went on and walked out didnt want nuthin and that was a 2 hour wait. I go ahead and call up preston location right after it was a 40 minute wait got there in about 15 minutes i dont care i will wait 25 mins for my cut. I pop a squat in the chair and this gentleman came up who is Anthony he came up and he said what time is your appointment at and i said its not for about 25 minutes and he says cmon get in here. I sit down and he asked alright what are we doin and i explained to him what just happened and he said “ya that aint a mullet ill give you what u want i was giving mullets when they first came out” And awesome conversation and they let me go with it being free but of course gotta give the man a $10 tip and he invited me to come back again when it grows out. Definitely go to Preston the lady can go to starbucks and you can go to fat burger right after. Might even try a clean shave next.

Negative experience: Check in on the site and be told 60-90 minute wait. Recieve a text 90 mins later saying there is an estimated 40 min wait till your appointment Go in 35 mins later and find the board in the store has a wait time of 40 more minutes Wait 20 minutes just to watch your appointment get pushed down the list twice and the wait time refreshed to 1hr-1hr20mins TLDR: after being told a 60-90 minute wait almost 2.5hrs later they are still predicting a 60-90 minute wait, no regard for their clients time and refusal to make a competent online system to tell you when you need to arrive. Edit: recently tried again and service along with wait estimates were better, waiting to try more.

Negative experience: Just felt super rushed, had to explain/clarify multiple times what I wanted (I have a very simple haircut/style). At checkout was asked the usual "how was everything?" I shrugged and said "fine", nothing more asked and just went straight to payment. Other times has been good but left this time feeling frustrated.

Negative experience: My fiancé checked in our son online for a kids hair cut with Jackie. When we arrived we could tell from the minute she saw that our son was a toddler that she was not happy about having to cut his hair. She had a booster seat in the main chair but he’s not quite 2 and I already knew he wouldn’t sit by himself. So I asked to have him sit with me in the chair. She rolled her eyes and responded with “you’re going to have to just get someone else to do it. I’m not killing my back”. We did not wait for anyone else and left. The way she handled the situation and the tone of her voice speaking to us was so unprofessional and unacceptable. We definitely will not be back and will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Negative experience: I was just parked outside of Tommy Guns at this location, being Preston Avenue, and was looking inside as the stylists were visiting and sweeping up, as there was no clients within. I looked up Tommy Guns on Google, just as a gentleman walked in and was being entered as a Client, I'm assuming as there are no appointments booked with Tommy Guns, only walk-ins as my son was told on the weekend. So I called the location at Preston and had the girl who answered, confirm that I had the correct location, which she did. I then asked if I could come in and get a bad haircut, I had recently recieved at a unnamed salon, fixed. To which she stammered a bit, covered the phone and then said they were "booked full for the night." So I said, "thank you for your time" and hung up. I left my parking spot and got closer to the door, (put my truck in Park) and snapped a picture of the empty Barbershop, to backup my claim. One (1) client and three (3) stylists in the shop. They were not in fact booked up full for the night...just not wanting to take my business, clearly.

Fantastic experience: They did a great kids cut for my 1 year old son!

Negative experience: Worst haircut I’ve ever had. I had 4 inch long hair. Asked them not to cut the length, just trim the ends. I left with 1.5 inch length hair on the right and 1 inch on the left, not what I asked for at all. The sides weren’t cut properly either. The hair at the top on left was one length and the right another. Spoke to manager who said they would correct it. Asked if I could get a scalp treatment. They said they would call. Never did. I just shaved my head instead.

Fantastic experience: Aron was great with my son, normally he’s nervous about hair cuts but he did so well! And I 100% believe it was because of Aron’s professionalism and the amount of patience he shows. Absolutely amazing job

Negative experience: First of all, Absolutely hate that it's only same day booking. Tried to book today for a time that would work for me and was told I could come in half an hour. That did not work for me so I asked for 11 and was told to call back later to book for that time. Why not just book it now. I'm not going here anymore im over it

Negative experience: Do not trust their check in system. I checked on around 1020 and said it's about an hour wait, I arrived around 1100 and the receptionist told me that my turn will be around 1230 so another hour at least. When al about what's the purpose of the check in then, she limited to said that they were busy and if I don't like it she can cancel it. Obviously I cancel and will never go back there. It's the second time that the check in system didn't work.

Positive experience: Updating my review to 3 stars due to my recent experience. I had a haircut booked in with Aaron for 1245. He’s 1 of 2 barbers I’ll come here for. I show up and they decided to push my appointment back to 2PM because a couple of his buddies wanted in. I use to experience this at their midtown location quite frequently which is why I left and am pretty annoyed that it’s starting to happen here now. I guess there’s only one barber I’ll only be coming there for from now.

Negative experience: The guy shouldn't be cutting peoples hair. Went in with hair came out bald but didn't have to pay. Should of been givin something for the traffic experience my lord.
