Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Chad. The environment was relaxed and welcoming, which made the whole visit really comfortable. He did an excellent job with the precision cutting — honestly the best haircut I’ve had since living in Calgary. I also really appreciated that getting my head buzzed wasn’t treated like a big deal. A lot of barbers don’t seem to enjoy doing a simple head shave while making the beard look sharp, but Chad handled it with care and attention to detail. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I’ll definitely be back.

Environment was awesome. Didn’t have the same octane rock radio blasting when you walked in like other big corporate places do. It felt like barbershops did 10 - 15 years ago. Fantastic experience: I have been a regular customer of Topnotch since I moved to Saskatoon (2021). Over the years, the quality of their cuts and craftsmanship remained unchanged. Today, Chad was able to excellently get the cut that I have requested. Just perfection! Chad doesn’t usually cut my hair, but Said does not have availability today. But still, you can book any of their barbers and still get the same top-quality service. Definitely, the only barbershop that I will go to here in Saskatoon!!

My barber, Said, made sure I was clear with what I wanted and perfectly met my expectations. Don't think twice about whether you should go there or not - it's totally worth it! Fantastic experience: Kristian was amazing! He was chill but we had a good conversation too. His attention to detail was impressive. His mustache trimming was miraculous! I have wire-brush hair that always sticks straight out when it's short, but he managed to trim it short and it lays down nicely. My wife says it's the best kissing mustache I've ever had!!! I've found my new barber!!

Fantastic experience: As a trans man it can be horribly intimidating going into men's spaces like a barbershop. This was my first time going and I wanted just a small headshave and a short haircut that I could easily maintain. I had Kyle as my barber. He was absolutely fantastic! Welcoming, chatty, respectful, and did exactly what I wanted. He checked in with me frequently and also gave me some great recommendations on products I could use to style my hair. I will be back!

Fantastic experience: Top Notch has been a fantastic barber shop pick since moving to Saskatoon recently. Location is right on broadway which makes things convenient, and their staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I’ve had my haircut by Kio both times, and have been nothing but impressed with the results! Lastly they have a great online booking system which has practically removed the wait times I had grown accustomed to with other barbers. I look forward to continuing supporting Top Notch going forward. They are the best.

Fantastic experience: This is my default go to place for a consistent and solid haircut. I also bring my son here. The barbers are careful with good eye and attention to detail and will make sure the cut suits you. I have tried various hairdressers but wife always seems to pick out when I have been at Top Notch. I suppose the barbers just have a special je ne sai quoi. Highly recommend the owner Said and Chad!

When it came time to shape my beard she noticed my lack of mobility in my neck and made adjustments to her chair and a pillow to support my head. A great experience and service!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Said and the crew at Top Notch. My 1.5-year-old son was not in a great mood (and quite vocal) during his haircut. Said was patient, kind, and tried his best to keep my son entertained throughout the process. While I’m sure it was a significantly “louder than normal” morning, everyone on the team was understanding and welcoming. Thank you Said, and the entire Top Notch team for going above and beyond!

Fantastic experience: When in for a haircut on Friday with Chad! I called the day before close to closing and they got me in the next day at 9:40am with Chad, when I got there they were all super inviting, kind and hard working, I waiting maybe 5 mins before going in for my haircut and Chad was super friendly, talk lots and did fantastic work, what I thought was a simple haircut Chad level up by 10x I can’t recommend they’re work enough they are truly the best and the free water after is amazing! Positive experience: Probably one of the best haircuts you can get in the city. All of the barbers here are good at their job. Chad in particular is very good. Unfortunately its reflected in the price rising to over 40$ for a basic haircut. I had been going here since it was sub $30 and they now charge a price I can’t justify. Early 2020s I would have told you it was easily the best bang for your buck in the city. That is no longer the case. It’s now primarily for well off clients.

Fantastic experience: I’m from the States and I visit my wife in Saskatoon. I don’t go to barbers that aren’t mine because they don’t know my hair. I didn’t get cut my first visit in Saskatoon because I was worried and figured I’d wait. This time I took a chance. I visited several sites and was most comfy with Top Notch. I went to the barber “Said” for a LINE UP for only $10. He lined me up all around. Beautifully. Trimmed my beard. And faded my sides a little. Even offered the blade. At the end of all this…he kept me at the same price so I tipped $15. It wasn’t just a cut. It was the experience I got, and the care that he had. I was extremely happy and so was my wife. If I lived here, easily he is my barber. Easily. What an experience. What a cut. What a guy.

Positive experience: I had Raja as my Barber and he did a really good job with length and giving a good fade. He informed me good information to style my hair and train it to part the way I want.

Negative experience: (Repost) I came in this afternoon and I asked for a mid fade mullet and to get my to get my hair texture and bangs a bit trimmed just above my eyebrows and it doesn’t even look like my mullet was cut and my bangs are way above my eyebrows and I just wanted a trim very disappointed stuck with a bad hair cut before my first year of high school. I’m already self conscious and this just makes me feel so ugly and now I don’t even wanna see my self in a mirror anymore 1 out of 5 never again and it cost 73$ for one haircut and hair powder

Raja absolutely killed it! Gave me exactly what I was looking for and even went a Benton's as to what I was wanting as a haircut. Worked quick, efficiently, without compromising on quality.

Fantastic experience: Said is one of the best barbers in Saskatoon. Working in a professional job, I am very particular about my hair cut. Said is never rushed and takes his time to make sure I am happy. I am demanding when it comes to my hair. Not many can deal with my curly hair. Everything is very clean at the place and they have plenty of hair products that you can buy. I personally buy the Moroccan curls oil which is cheaper there than Amazon.
