Negative experience: When I saw my credit card bill, I realized I was overcharged $10 for a basic guy's haircut. When I called to complain, they wouldn't give me my money back. $10 isn't that much money but it's the principle of the matter. I will not be back as I feel I was robbed of that $10

Fantastic experience: KC is amazing and personally a respected long time barber who knows how to style your hair with the right tools to create the look you want.

Fantastic experience: Had an incredible first time experience with Ivan who is absolutely talented in his craft. Highly recommend this shop and book an appointment with Ivan. I asked for a mid skin bald fade with a hard part, beard trim and lineup, and eyebrow cleanup and he nailed everything I wanted and then some.

Negative experience: Haircut is 50/50 everytime on if it’s gonna be good or not. Been here 10 times probably and this is the 4th time in a ROW that I’ve waited 15-20 minutes plus with an appointment. This and the last time was 20 minutes, unacceptable practice to me. I won’t be back. I threatened to leave and he kept saying no no almost done.

Positive experience: I’m downgrading my review due to my last visit this week. I’ve only been here a few times, however this last time put a bad taste in my mouth. I booked a haircut and the cut I reserved was a taper/fade for $36. I show up and they confirm my appointment. Haircut looks good, and she rings me up. She charges me $46…. I said “Oh when I booked it said $36.”.. she replies with “yeah for me it’s $46.” A nearly 30% up-charge just because a different barber took the reservation? I didn’t even specify a specific barber. Any barber for $36 will do. There was no mention of the up-charge when they confirmed the appointment. I felt that was dishonest as it pretty much confirms you don’t know what you’ll pay at the end because a barber can up-charge just for themselves apparently.

Fantastic experience: I came in at just about closing time when I knew it was closing. Unfortunately I have a business trip to a work conference next day and been pulling 12hr days. They still took me in and helped me out to look my best. Taking time to hear what I wanted and still performed great. Highly recommend these guys even if just for the customer service alone. This should be your spot if you’re in Surprise Az! Draven helped me out!

Negative experience: My son was here today 11/2 Whoever cut his hair did an horrible job and need to go back to barber school or change job , it’s very disappointing I have been coming here for his hair cut for months I won’t be back pictures below so people can see it how you guys butcher his hair .

Negative experience: Was told Id have to wait at least an hour and half to cut a couple of my kids hair. All barbers did not look busy but maybe they were on lunch or expecting an appointment. If someone doesn't want my money I'm not going to make them take it.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to Seventy Seven's for about four years now. Benji does a fantastic job selecting barbers to run the chairs - I've never had a bad experience with any of the guys. The shop is always clean, we'll stocked, and a great atmosphere for all ranges of clientele. With that being said, I can't say enough good things about KC. He is an extremely professional and knowledgeable barber who strives to make sure both you - and he - is happy with the end result. He is meticulous, a great listener, and is open to feedback. I was so excited to hear that he was returning after being away for about 2 years. Great job KC; keep crushing it out there! If you're looking for recommendations, I would hands down go with KC any day. Whenever he's busy, I love working with Colin, Hayden, and Hector as well.

Negative experience: Service I booked : Regular Haircut + Beard service. Was given to a barber who doesn’t even have a beard. I provide photos of what I wanted and instead of doing that he trimmed almost none of the dead ends of out my beard. And gave me a “fade / taper” which wasn’t what I asked for at all. Told me I wasn’t gonna be charged for the beard service. Instead I saved $5 for a haircut I did not ask for. Pay their stupid premium if you want your hair cut by a person competent enough to provide the services you’re paying for. Update: went back and got a refund. Barber copped an attitude

Negative experience: Do NOT let cj cut your hair. This man did the complete opposite of what I asked and made me look like a fusion of a fat Theo von and a mid century pilgrim. Sebastian cool though he actually knows how to cut hair. I digress cj please never touch my hair again.

Negative experience: Booked an appointment online got there around 3 o’clock with Barbara Antonio Worst experience ever this Barber does not know how to cut hair whatsoever. Really wish I would’ve took a picture of my hair before going somewhere else to fix it. I really hope I get a refund by posting this review. And If I don’t You best believe I’ll be disputing it because I shouldn’t have to pay $36 with the tip for the messed up haircut he gave me

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Hayden for over a few months, and he is good at giving fades and lineups. After moving back to the U.S., I tried about five other barber shops. Those other places gave horrible cuts or made me wait 15-30 minutes while having an appointment. From what I can tell, all of the barbers at Seventy Seven will give a good haircut. Good job Hayden!

Took me 3 weeks to finally have my beard line back to where it was, thankfully just in time for another event. Wouldn’t recommend. It’s a shame because I had a good experience in the past with Josh. Always leaves me looking fresco, and the conversations are just as good as the haircut. Super chill, easy to talk to, and you can tell he knows what he’s doing. Definitely my go-to barber.

Fantastic experience: We have had bad experiences with chain salons, so we decided try something different this time. My two boys (10 & 13) had only the most general idea about what they wanted. Their barbers took time to ask them questions about what they wanted and showed them how to use product to get the look they wanted. Super friendly and patient. We hadn’t even made it to the car before my son said he couldn’t wait for his hair to grow back so he could get his hair cut here again, haha. They both love their cuts. They have admired themselves in every mirror, window, and shiny object for the last 20 minutes. Thank you, Seventy Seven, for helping my boys look amazing and making them feel ‘so freakin cool.’

Negative experience: showed a pic of what I wanted, a low fade blowout (should be plenty for a haircut as I don't know what I'm asking for technically, but i know what I want it to look like) and asked to keep a tiny bit of length on the sides as I don't like skin fades, and slight bangs in the front, and was given a straight up slicked back mullet with a high fade. Was not turned to face the mirror so i couldn't see what was happening until a mirror was handed to me. immediately after i got charged 35 I went to sports clips and got the back shaved off to match the sides better, so now I'm starting basically all over after growing my hair out for six months. TLDR: showed a pic of what I wanted, barber did his own thing after hearing the word "mullet." for what it's worth the fade is great, but was not at all what I wanted or asked for, and now I'm back to hats for the foreseeable future. this was not only my first time at this barbershop but my first time at any shop, but i don't think it's difficult to work with a picture that clearly shows what I'd like. maybe i just hit up the wrong spot.

Fantastic experience: Walked in on a Sunday, as it turns out, these guys are clearly top tier because every barber was fully booked with appointment after appointment. Draven had a tiny window to fit me in between two clients for a haircut and beard trim. He apologized that due to the timing he couldn't give me a "full" shave, (which is totally understandable). That being said, if what I got wasn't the full shave, I can't wait to see what was because he did an amazing job on the beard and haircut. In and out quick with a great cut. I'll be making appointments with him going forward. Top tier service and shop.

I’m usually nervous because of his special needs, but the barbers were incredibly patient and accommodating. Sharky eased my worries, and my brother felt so comfortable that he even said he wants to return for another fresh lineup! This barbershop truly is for everyone, you can’t go wrong here.

Negative experience: My husband spent $65+ for a haircut and beard trim, the haircut was communicated multiple times, “Sharky” didn’t listen, my husband explicitly said he didn’t want a shelf on the top, he ended up doing one… there were strands and sections not fully shaved down, there was so much hair left on his neck… and the beard… this was by far the worst beard trim I’ve ever see. One side of the beard was a 90 degree angle cut and the other side was the opposite and bubbled out, completely uneven and HORRIBLE. Thank goodness we had trimmers at home and I was able to shape it correctly. Here’s a before and after. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Save the money, find somewhere else. I’m shocked there’s so many good reviews.
