Fantastic experience: So I chose this place at random by proximity to my home and from reading reviews. As I get older-pushing 60-i've developed little irregularities in the way my hair lays, not to mention a receding hairline I was very specific with Anthony on how I wanted my haircut and he knocked it out of the park. Not only did a few friends compliment it but a couple of perfect strangers commented on how nice my haircut was. Southland will definitely be my regular barbershop going forward.

It’s a family-owned barbershop, and you feel that the moment you walk in super welcoming, down-to-earth, and the kind of place where they actually remember your name and how you like your cut. Negative experience: My Haircut and sons line up way over priced never going there again

Negative experience: Regular hair cut should cost $17-20, they charged me $30 and I was nice with them as always tipped by $40. So ended up paying $40 for not best haircut. I’m not planning to return to them again. This is way too much in my opinion. Thanks,

Negative experience: Went in for a $35 now dry paid $60 plus tip. False advertisement. Hairdresser was nice enough but hair didn't stay two days so it was waste of my money.

Fantastic experience: I’m a black guy from the north side of Texas, and needed a cut for Spring Break. Shop was full and the only black barber in the shop was busy. He told me to take a seat in Gina’s chair and I thought, “There goes my Trip…” She not only did an ok job she killed it, everyone in the shop is skilled! Come get cut by the house nominated BBBC. Negative experience: I got in quick and the haircut was done correctly. The problem is the charge of $30 for a 12min haircut is just ridiculous. Add to that there was an unmentioned credit card charge plus tip it came to $36.20. I usually pay $18-22 at other shops… I won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: Great barer shop. Everyone is friendly and they have great service. Lots of kids and families go there. So, they are a part of the community. It's one of the only places I've been to where it doesn't matter which barber you go to. They are all very skilled.

Fantastic experience: This place is a diamond! The facility is always clean, bright and has a lot of smiling faces! I was there this past Saturday; Angello was the barber who worked his magic (expertise) on me, not only did he patiently listen to what I wanted but he gave me one of the cleanest fades! The team there are well-versed in all sorts of hair styles, and treatments. Also, I was fortunate enough to meet the owner Lisa... she was fun, easy-going, and was busy making sure the business was stocked, organized, and functioning like a well-oiled-machine. There's more than enough parking, it's wheel chair accessible, TV's everywhere, comfortable seating, and most importantly... the place is WiFi-friendly!

Fantastic experience: Got a cut from my boy Angelo, definitely recommend. Not only did he clean my hair up real nice, he gave me (a long hair newbie) a bunch of advice to keep it looking fresh and substantial.

Negative experience: **ZERO STARS** I normally come here for a cut, but after my experience with Jameson, I’m reconsidering. Jameson, the Turkish person who cuts hair, cannot cut hair properly. There was a significant language barrier, and he completely messed up my hair. The guy next door had to finish the job. I can’t believe they made me pay for the cut after waiting nearly 2 hours. They really need to do something about Jameson—he belongs in a horror movie of barbershops. I would like to be contacted by management and request a refund. Furthermore, I’d like to know who is hiring incompetent people that do not know how to cut hair properly.

Fantastic experience: I had a small issue with my haircut so I went back a week later and asked one of the guys to fix it. He was gracious, took his time, and essentially gave me a new haircut that I was very satisfied with. Didn't even want to be paid, said it was more important that I was happy.

Negative experience: i wish i could give less than 1 star… Rod absolutely butchered my hair. I told him that i wanted a shape up, a trim, less than 1/2 inch off the top and sides… just wanted to shape my hair because my cut was overgrown and i needed to be cleaned up… he basically gave me a buzz cut and took a straight razor to my hairline… i’ve been growing my hair out for 3 months for special occasions coming up this spring and i look like a marine recruit now. I’ve never had someone give so little regard for a clients wishes. Rod ruined my hair, my day and my self esteem. I can’t look in the mirror without feeling rage, thanks a lot rod!!!!!

Positive experience: This place is nice & clean. The barbers are skillful having had different ones to my satisfaction. You come, log on to their kiosk where you can choose particular barbers & get your hair cut. I've not had to wait so far coming as a walk in. I'm not so sure about getting your moneys worth, but I guess with inflation & all that, it's similar anywhere you go. Plenty of regular sized parking spaces but they always seem filled. High traffic area.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming here for 8 years, you get a great haircut just how you want it! I usually prefer Suzie because she knows what I want better than I do. LOL But all their stylists are very talented, and it is budget friendly. Usually in and out in 30 minutes, very happy with this place! (and they love service dogs)
