Negative experience: I visited this shop today for a simple walk-in line-up/tape, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. When I walked in, I asked if they took walk-ins and was told yes. There were two barbers sitting in empty chairs, talking and laughing, while I waited. I assumed they were waiting on scheduled clients, but after waiting nearly 10 minutes, it became clear that no one had appointments and no one even acknowledged me not a greeting, not a “we’ll be with you,” nothing. I felt completely ignored and disrespected as a customer. Professionalism and basic courtesy go a long way, and unfortunately, this shop showed neither. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend a place that fails to value a customer’s time, presence, or respect.

He’s professional, respectful, charismatic, and provides excellent haircutting services as well as facial massages. Fantastic experience: Great barbershop $35 for a cut and beard trim which is great. Other places usually charge me $60 so great price and service.

Negative experience: Why did they charge me $15 for an incomplete BEARD lineup that left me cut, razor burned, and still having to line/clean it up after? Only 1 or 2 of these guys MIGHT be decent, and I would've given 3 stars if they didn't get offended about the situation when THEY misunderstood what YOU, the customer asked for, and I approached them calmly and politely— most ppl aren't that nice, forgiving, or optimistic. Aside from that, they aren't necessarily rude. At least not in front of your face. The pic is AFTER I had to go over the stubble w/ a Braun Shaver that u can buy yourself at Target for $35. It isn't the worst lineup, but they don't leave you clean as a barber should, the sideburns aren't fully lined up either. Needless to say, I walked out dissatisfied and won't be returning.

Negative experience: Worst barbershop ever , not only they don’t what they are doing but they are very unprofessional I had an appointment with this guy and once I got there this guy acted like he didn’t know me, so I decided to cut my hair anyway at the same place, not only this guy messed up my line and only left a hole in the middle of my head and seems like no one at this place speaks English! Stay away from this place

Mora, the manager of Tato’s Barber Shop. Very detail oriented & very professional. I’m not a terrible customer, I’m actually very easy going, but Carlos could tell I was somewhat picky. Negative experience: Be careful when going here. I was coming here for a year getting the same cut every time + my beard and paying the same price. Then one time I came into get that exact cut and then after it was done the barber told me the prices all went up by $10 I just find it that I’ve been a loyal customer for a year and he couldn’t warn me about that before the cut. That was really grimy of him, not sure if all barbers are like this at this spot but like I said be careful!

Negative experience: Don't let the new guy cut your hair. Dude spent 45 minutes trying to do a fade and somehow my hair was still long. Also his clippers were more choppier than an old lawnmower.

Positive experience: It's hit or miss, sometimes my cut looks great, and sometimes the fade is uneven, one side higher than the other. If I say low fade, SOMETIMES it's mid, they tend to bring my hairline high no matter what I say. I said just a fade yesterday and practically have a Mohawk now. Been going here since they opened but I think now it's time to find a new shop

Negative experience: *Edit* (Replying to owner) It's fine just didn't have time to wait that long. 2 other people walked out before I did. Things happen, it wasn't just the waiting or the line. I'd say 95 percent of the time everything is good, which is pretty good but it hasn't been always. There was that guy that jacked up my face and I had the pics up. Anyway no hard feelings, just went elsewhere. God bless you too.

He did an excellent job, even recut my beard after I went home and decided I wanted a closer trim. Refused to charge extra for the extra effort. I felt there should have been an extra charge. He's attentive and always asks me how I want to get my hair cut. I definitely recommend Miguel and I am sure the rest of the barbers do a great job too. The owner is also very cool and attentive. There is no better place where you can get a haircut at a very reasonable price!

Negative experience: Saturday Afternoon i went to him because i couldn’t go to my original barber, i asked for a fade cut. He did it but my sides were uneven and my tape wasn’t sharp at all.

Junito and another Dominican have served my father very nice as well. Junito can reminisce about the island with my father, and make him laugh. I appreciate that very, very much. Fantastic experience: I was there with 3 of my boys without appointment. The place was packed. Tato's and its crew was able to service us really fast with a great outcome. I took 2 of my boys to another place nearby as I was in the hurry, I wish I had not, and i had kept all 5 boys with Tatos. All that to say. Don't look nowhere for your hair cut. Tatos barber shop does all type of hair with great outcome. I forgot to mention the customer service: outstanding!! I wish i had a place like that in Charlotte NC.

He pushed his hair line way back and the fade was extremely high when I clearly asked for a low fade. *This shop is great overall clean and the professionalism from the other barbers up front. But it’s very unfortunate because of this one guy, I have such a bad taste. *

Fantastic experience: I’ve been looking for a barbershop to take my kids to for a while now. I went to Tatos’s barbershop for the first time yesterday and they treated my kids with excellent service. Thank you to the barber who treated my kids. I don’t remember his name but he was on the shorter side and he was wearing a headband. He did a wonderful job and I’ll definitely be coming back to see him again.

I called before visiting and just from the phone conversation I felt a great vibe. Not just that my sons haircut was PERFECT! For the first time in 8 years I was 100% satisfied with his cut. Fantastic experience: I was greeted by Max who was the first barber to show up on 7/12/19. Not only was he extremely kind and professional, but he was nice enough to open the shop a few min early. The shop was modern, clean, and I could tell right off the bat I was in good hands. Not only did Max hook me up with exactly what I wanted, he also hooked it up with a beard enhancement which I had never done before. I would highly recommend not only this shop, but Max as an excellent barber.
