Fantastic experience: This is a delayed review, went here before Christmas. I was trying to squeeze in a haircut before a flight I had to catch. Originally when I walked in they said they had space in just over 30 minutes. When I came back they realised they’d made a mistake and didn’t have space for me.. so one of the barbers (apologies, I’ve forgotten the name) squeezed me in. I think he was due to leave at the end of his shift but decided to take me anyway. It was the fastest haircut of my life, he did a full scissor cut in 12 minutes… and the best part is, it’s one of the better ones I’ve ever had! So just leaving this here as a thank you, kindness doesn’t go unnoticed and I’m trying to pay it back (albeit belatedly) with this review. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: It takes a specific kind of bravery to face down a child with truly poofy hair, and Bayam didn’t even flinch. The transformation at Paris Barber was impressive to witness. We went from a chaotic cloud of frizz to something polished and intentional without losing the kid's personality in the process. Bayam clearly understands the craft on a level that goes beyond a standard trim. If you want a haircut that looks like it belongs in a gallery rather than a wind tunnel, this is the place to go.

Negative experience: Friendly enough but overpriced. It cost me 90 dollars for a half done haircut and a beard trim. Be specific with what you want or they will half ass it and do the minimum. For 90 dollars you expect the full Monty. I felt ripped off personally and won’t be going back.

Negative experience: Beware - Walk-ins need not apply. My son and I were in the area midday and peeked in, place was empty, so we gave it a shot. The barber only cared to ask if we had a reservation. When we said we didn’t, he said we’d need to make a booking online. When I asked if he could help us make a booking (after all, he was sitting in front of the computer), he said he couldn’t (or wouldn’t??? … ). When you think of a person being described as going the extra mile, this would be the complete opposite. Totally uninterested in customer service.

Negative experience: It’s deeply disappointing when a business fails to communicate with the very people who have supported it. Raphael, this is unacceptable — you should reflect on how you’re treating your loyal customers.

Negative experience: I walked into the barbershop and it was completely empty. I asked the barber if he could take me, and he said he was waiting for someone. I asked if he was sure the person was coming, and he replied, “I don’t know.” So I suggested I could wait, and if the person didn’t show up, he could cut my hair. His response, in a dry and unpleasant tone, was: “It’s your choice.” Terrible attitude from the start. No willingness to help, no courtesy. It’s a shame, because the place was empty and he clearly had no intention of working. Would not recommend at all.

Too bad he will be gone soon as he will rellocate outside NZ. This will be my go-to everytime. Negative experience: Had a woman cut my hair. Asked for a high 0 fade... simple. Wasn't even faded, wife told me there's patchy spots at the back, and uneven. And I was charged $60. Shouldn't have paid even if the haircut was $10 I trusted this place as I'd come before so I didn't check the haircut after. Yeah. Never going back.
