Fantastic experience: Brought my son into max’s. Great cut to start and absolutely delighted with the service, the barber was very caring and attentive to him and dealt very well with a young boy who moves around a lot. Created a very comfortable atmosphere will definitely be back!

I showed them what I wanted and somehow they did the COMPLETE opposite Like how do you mess it up that bad?? Zero listening skills. Zero vibe. Zero talent. If you actually care about your hair, don’t even risk it. Save yourself. Don’t go. ✂️

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at this barbers. I chanced this place in a rush to get a haircut with a family event later in the day, and although it was very busy I was able to sit in a chair 15 mins later. The barber was very friendly and I was delighted with the resulting haircut. Pricewise I could make no complaints with the overall service. Will be back regularly.

Negative experience: If they Can’t manage a small queue, how can they manage to cut hair properly!!! Patiently waited over 15 minutes, with only 1 guy waiting before me while the 2 barbers saw everyone waiting and coming in the door. When I was next in the queue and the only person waiting after about 15 minutes into waiting , an ignorant man in his 50s comes in and skips the queue before me without any booking. The 2 barbers who saw me waiting for 15 mins & saw the ignorant man in his 50s just walk in and skip the queue, said nothing. I couldn’t be bothered arguing or pointing out the obvious, therefore I just walked out & wont go back if they can’t even manage a small queue, I wouldn’t trust them to cut hair!

Negative experience: I couldn’t believe that I was turned away because I am a woman. This was told to by a woman. Ive been going to barbers for over 10years and this was a first for me. I have had my hair cut there in the past and they had done a fine job but that was about a year ago and I decided to try them again as my regular place was closed. I even explained that I didn’t want a hairdresser but an actual barber due to the style that I prefer barbers are just better at it in general. I guess a 1-2 high fade and trim off the top is beyond their capabilities. What an absolute disgrace.

Negative experience: Went in for a small trim and came out basically bald I now have a wedding in 6 days and it will not be back in good shape for that time I’m never going back again thank you.

Negative experience: Got there at 17:10 20 mins before closing 2 woman standing there I asked could I just get a quick razor beard trim was told no they close at 17 30? Maybe they just didn't like me

Fantastic experience: Great barbers. I go there as I have short hair and was sick of paying €60 at the hairdresser, when I can go to the Barbers and get the same cut for 1/3 the price. The cut is always superior to what I got at the hairdressers. The staff are friendly. Parking is not an issue. The place is always busy. The longest wait I had was a half hour, which was no big deal as it's walk-in only. I keep going back.

Negative experience: I would NOT recommend this place if you are looking for a decent haircut. I went for a beard trimming and beard shaping, I was charged €15. However, the original price was €10. Reason cited was that the barber spent a bit more time. All the barbers are ladies. The lady at the counter wasn't very polite and seemed a bit racist. Below average quality of service. The barbers don't spend enough time in cutting hair. The barber couldn't get the fade right. For full haircut+ Beard trimming: €27 Better go for Nas Barber or other barbers in the city. Never coming back.

Fantastic experience: Have had my hair cut by most of the ladies working here and I must say each and every one of you are exceptional at what you do. Today and on a number of previous visits, I had my hair cut by Shirley. I just want to note how genuinely kind and encouraging Shirley is. A truly authentic and down to earth individual. Each time I have come in for a haircut, I always leave feeling uplifted and in a great mood. Shirley always goes above and beyond to not only cut your hair the exact way you want it but she always has such kind and encouraging words to offer and she also gives fantastic life advice haha. Thank you Shirley for making my day that bit brighter today. Wishing you all the best ladies and I will see ye again soon!

Negative experience: I asked for a very small bit off the top as it's quite thin and the lady cutting my hair cut it shorter than I've ever had it, even though I reminded her twice during the haircut. She completely ignored what I asked for and said it was too long. It's also the most I've paid for a hair cut. I'm really disappointed and I won't be returning.

Negative experience: Went in asking for just a tidy up and a tiny bit off the top, she hacked away at my hair with the thinning scissors and basically cut off all my fringe, not only that but the sides were cut all uneven, it's going to take ages to regrow. Will absolutely never go back again.

Negative experience: Went in for a skin fade, left with a Goatee! Genuinely upset, nice woman but I don’t know how someone can screw up that bad. Haircut itself was okay, but I have to grow back my beard now, and it cost me €18 with a student discount…
