Negative experience: I called to ask about a reservation and the phone was answered by a very unpleasant woman. She told me to check the website because they were probably fully booked today. On the website, however, I can select any time without any problem, but first I’m required to create an account and then provide credit card details, which I didn’t want to do. This makes no sense and the whole experience was frustrating.

Fantastic experience: We took our son here for his first haircut, and it was fantastic! Ciara did a great job, even though my son was moving his head to see everything that was going on. They have a great set up for kids, and the little certificate and lock of his hair are a lovely keepsake to have too!

Negative experience: Disappointed that we made the journey to town after booking online just to be told they don't cut little girls' hair anymore. Not mentioned on the website, and my little girl has had her haircut here since she was born and now at 3 years old doesn't want to go anywhere else. They still cut my son's hair at least, but really not looking for two separate kids barbers, that makes no sense so won't be back.

Fantastic experience: Took my son (20 months) for kids haircut and this is the second visit. Sean ( Hair stylist) did an amazing job with the haircut. He was super professional and took his time to do the haircut. He ensured that we (parents) are happy with the level and style and was constantly checking with us. Highly recommend Sean for kids haircut. Brilliant job Sean.

Fantastic experience: The first time I stepped into Retro Barbers was actually to get some hair product. Frank was kind enough to let me try out a sample and I decided I'd call in the next time I needed a haircut - haven't looked back since! I'm sure they'd prefer not to be dealing with a big mop of curly hair but Sandra always gets it bang on. Frank and staff always make you feel welcome. The online booking and payment feature is very handy. Definitely number one in Limerick for me.
