Fantastic experience: I recently had a tattoo done by Alex. The entire experience was amazing. Her and a the staff were incredibly friendly and they made the whole experience comfortable for me. She guided me through the design work until I was happy and she displayed constant patience and understanding, as I wasn’t certain of what I wanted going in. The design itself was perfect and the result was even better. This was an all round incredible experience and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to get their next tattoo. 5/5, highly recommended

Left with my hair looking good, smelling good, and feeling so soft! As a bonus, KTF is a lovely space, where I always feel very comfortable and welcome.

Fantastic experience: Really lovely atmosphere in the studio. I’m new to the whole nail care thing, so I appreciate the girls being patient and understanding that I don’t have a clue about what to do to protect my nails. I’ve had 2 appointments so far and my nails are the longest and strongest they’ve ever been. Even my family who don’t notice my nails noticed how great they look! Can’t wait for this to be part of my regular self care routine.

Fantastic experience: Rich was amazing with my hair! From the moment I walked in, I felt really comfortable in the salon, being offered a cold drink on a very hot day! Rich completely understood what I wanted and my hair type and I felt super comfortable throughout. I had shoulder length hair cut to a soft mullet, and have since had so many compliments about how much it suits me. It is definitely the best hair cut I have ever had, and I feel so much more like me. I am so pleased to have found my new hairdresser and salon. Thanks so much!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had a tattoo with Sophie at Keep the Faith, and the whole experience was lovely to super easy. She was so friendly and helpful even from just inquiring and booking in her Instagram DMs. I was a bit nervous when I got there but she made me feel right at ease and the whole experience was perfect. I got lots of chances for breaks and was offered ice packs, and drinks. Super please with my tattoo and have already had lots of compliments, will definitely be coming back to Sophie. The studio was a bit hard to find as it wasn't super obvious that it was upstairs but that might just be me :-)

Fantastic experience: Had my tattoo done by Alex, absolutely nothing bad to say about my experience with Alex & KTF. The team are great, Alex was really nice, attentive and helpful throughout the process. It was my first tattoo so wasn’t sure what to expect but she made the process really pleasant. She pulled off my tattoo design perfectly and gave me clear instructions for correct aftercare too. 100% be returning to KTF for my next one! 5 stars.

Fantastic experience: Had a haircut with Dan earlier this week, went from longer hair to a shorter look. Amazing service throughout and am really pleased with the result - would definitely recommend this barbershop and Dan in particular!

Fantastic experience: Always have decent service here. Don't bother with a walk-in though, it's difficult enough to get a spot even with an appointment booked the day before. Update: still 5 stars, love the service here and it's even slightly cheaper than some other barbers in the area. I always come back even though it's now slightly out of my way.

Fantastic experience: Had a trim there today, didn’t have a booking just walked in. Everyone was lovely and accommodating, I felt rlly comfortable. Was rlly happy with the haircut I left with and it was exactly what I had asked for.

Fantastic experience: Shaun Gibbs did a fantastic job of doing a trio of matching paw print tattoos for me, my sister, and my mum. He also did a set of squirrels on my back. It was practically a walk-in job with less than 24 hours of prep-time, and the detail and art work was superb. He was very friendly and personable and we had a great time throughout the whole process.

Fantastic experience: Good vibes, queer friendly, and honestly, a good cut. Not a local or I would go back again. As a queer, CIS female, I felt super comfortable. Dan cut my hair, and he was great.

Fantastic experience: I had my hair cut by Dan Bucksey and as ever it was a real 5 star experience. Great conversation, great customer service, and most all a great cut. I've probably had 45 of my last 50 haircuts at KTF, and Dan is the main reason I keep coming back.

Fantastic experience: I love getting my nails done here, with Millie. I haven’t been for a while. Whenever I have been, there is nothing ever too small or big. Always matches the pictures I show with her on take on the designs and I always love them. And super friendly! I need to book in again!!

Fantastic experience: First time client to this very cool place. Just needed my undercut tidying up and for the first time in ages the barber who saw me did what I asked him too and did it very well. Will definitely be going back.

Positive experience: Lovely place and nice staff but pure ruined my hair, literally came out in tears and had to go somewhere else straight away to fix it who said they’d never seen anything like it. It’s a shame because the staff are lovely and the place is nice, must have been an off day

Fantastic experience: After losing a lot of my hair over the last few years (and then being humiliated by my previous 'well meaning' stylist) I have avoided getting what little hair I have left cut for a while. My hair was subsequently neglected and my confidence at an all time low. Especially since I was about to go on my very first holiday and I was embarrassed about my hair. This all changed when I was recommended your salon and your amazing stylist Chris. He talked me through my options and in a moment of bravery I went for the chop! I walked out of the salon feeling great (and not wanting to cry which was my usual reaction to a haircut) and I've had soooo many compliments since. Getting a haircut isn't a big deal for most people, to someone with hairloss like mine, its huge. I'm happy and confident now and thats all down to Chris skill. Thank you Chris xx

Fantastic experience: The studio was very clean throughout and all the staff were super friendly. I saw Emily and she completed these 3 tattoos and I am very pleased with how they turned out. Shout out to all the tattoo artists as they were all lovely xx (July 2023) Travelled back from Canada to see Emily again- she is fab. She put together my bison tattoo with the Manitoba province outline and wheat flower for me and I am over the moon with it. She also did the robin tattoo with the rose for my boyfriend which is a very meaningful tattoo for him (his first one) Thank you Emily xx will always travel back for you!! Definitely recommend. Fantastic experience: I'm not one for leaving reviews, but I felt like one was needed in this case. I made the decision to use Keep the Faith Social Club after not being too comfortable at my previous stylist (good haircut, just not my vibe). The reason for trying Keep the Faith was based on the positive reviews online, but also the great support a member of staff provided someone on Reddit who expressed being a nervous customer when it come to hair stylists. I also get quite anxious at stylists and struggle changing even when I'm unhappy. I had my haircut today by Thomas, who was an absolute superstar. Listened whilst we spoke, was extremely passionate, and wanted to make sure I was ok throughout my appointment. Safe to say I rebooked to come back again. Fantastic experience, and never once felt intimidated or uncomfortable.

Fantastic experience: Tonya Harding’s mother and my nan are similar in that they get a kick out of deflating their loved ones ego so that they shine like a star. My nan said to 9yr old me,“the ugliest child she had the misfortune of ever laying her eyes on” in front of the whole family. I break free of my nan’s curse every time I come here for a haircut. Words cannot describe how I feel and look after my haircut, but numbers can 5/10. But a solid 10/10 for my “lid”, my barber is just awesome.

After having some awkward experiences trying to book a tattooist in Cardiff else where I found Matt on Instagram and he made the whole process easy! Will definitely be back for more!

I’ve been very happy with every set I’ve come away with, simple colour or nail art. Their creativity gives me confidence that every set will be fab, especially when I never know what I want!! I got my first tattoo with Alex after getting glowing recommendations, and quickly booked more and have recommended her to others. Both her black and colour work are fantastic and her art style is just so good !
