Negative experience: Sorry but not what i asked for at all - really confused since i have longer hair and asked for a scissor cut leaving length and flow and middle part - barber assured me he knew what he was doing but then cut it insanely short with a terrible looking inch long fringe?! i'm really confused and it doesn't suit me at all. The staff all seemed really nice and friendly but sadly i did not get what i asked for and left with a really bad haircut completely changing my style.

Fantastic experience: Craig was awesome. He gave me exactly the haircut I wanted. I wasn’t sure how short to go on the sides, so he offered to start with a longer guard and go shorter if needed. I’ve been to my fair share of barbershops, and I can’t think of a single barber who would have gone to the trouble of doing that—especially considering I was his last client of the day, and he couldn’t have been faulted for wanting to wrap up quickly. On top of that, he was incredibly personable, and we had a great chat about some of our favourite metal bands.

Fantastic experience: Do you have a regular barber you go to? No? You should definitely get one that works for you 100% of the time, and stay loyal to them. And their name is Max Meek. Sure he will chat your head off but at the least you may learn a new word and the time flies fast. He's professional, timely, efficient and remembers your preference each time. If you haven't yet, get yourself an appointment! 10/10 service!

Fantastic experience: Max is an exceptionally knowledgeable and thoughtful barber. He takes the time to discuss different options and explain why certain styles will or won’t work for your hair type and head shape. In the past, I’ve always had to know exactly what I wanted before seeing a barber, which led me to stick with the same style for nearly a decade. But for over two years now, I’ve been seeing Max, and he’s given me the confidence to experiment with different looks. Even though I’ve moved away from Cardiff, I still make the hour-plus round trip for a trim. On top of that, Max is incredibly easy to talk to and has a wide range of interests, making every visit enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Would recommend, as someone with asd/adhd it's important to feel comfortable, and (at least in my experiences so far) they made you feel at ease there. Update: this has been my regular barber shop for the last year or so and all the people that I have met there are genuinely lovely and patient/ comfortable to be around. Katharina is also an incredible barber. Very knowledge and happy to explain how and why she does what she does. Always fun talking to the fantastic staff whenever I pop in. Still 10/10.
