Fantastic experience: Best Turkish barbers to use , I use them regularly and will never go else where, professional barbers.

Fantastic experience: After attempting to go to a chain known for accepting walk-ins, and be looked at as if we were a huge inconvenience, my husband and I came across this barbers while we paused to put our son's coat on. Today (21st Feb 2026) we thought we'd give it a try, and honestly we are so glad we did. Our son has a significant development delay (possible ashd/autism) and he has always hated having his hair cut, and it has been hard finding someone with skill and above all - true patience. We don't know the barbers name, but he and everyone inside were so friendly and kind, and they offered our son a drink (and us!). It might be such a small thing for many parents but this was truly momentous for us. Thank you, we will absolutely be back here for his next haircut, even though we live in Fareham!

Fantastic experience: Best barbers in Hampshire...well actually the UK! No doubt about it. The staff...amazing, friendly, got good bants. They'll really look after you in here. Cold drinks and hot drinks on offer. The Boss Bros, these two are proper crack ups lol. They'll keep you happy. They'll do anything to make sure you are happy with your cut. And they do everything...beard, hair, eye brow threading and nose waxing! Every part of the service is quality. You get your wash, a razor sharp hair cut, perfect, outstanding beard cut. By far the best barbers I've been to! Cheers lads!! . Update 2026 - simply just gets better and better...not just your average barber but also friends!

Fantastic experience: This was my second time here. And this time my hair cut was done muss and i have to say it was a good experience from the moment I walked in when I was offfered a drink and as soon as someone was avalible I was a able to get my hair cut with a minimal waiting time. When it comes to the actual hair cut itself muss was very nice throughout the hair cut and took care even advicing me on ways to style my hair differently this hair cut also included both hot towels and a massage which is something I havent been given at any other shop.

All barbers wash your hair, hot towel, cut throat shave, along with a loyalty card which gets you a free shave when you get 10 haircuts (I think it’s 10). Great place with happy friendly barbers!

Fantastic experience: Been to AK Barbers a few times now and honestly can’t fault them. I’ve been cut by a few different barbers there and every time the service has been spot on. Had my latest cut with Ide and he was absolutely amazing, really took the time to listen to what I wanted and absolutely nailed it. After moving back to Southampton I realised how hard it is to find a barber who actually listens and doesn’t just do their own thing, but everyone at AK is top quality. Friendly atmosphere, great attention to detail, and consistently good cuts. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I came to the barbers a number of days prior to ask if they were able to accommodate people whose hair was in an entire clump as a result of self neglect and severe mental health issues. Although luckily my friend combed out the majority of the clump of hair, they were incredibly incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond for him. The barber was amazing although I don’t think I ever got his name. He did an amazing job on my friends hair and made him feel like a brand new man after he lost his confidence for so many years. They made us feel very welcome and build a lovely rapport with my friend and i. the coffee and sweets were lovely. Highly recommend and I couldn’t thank you enough. Lovely team. The cat was also adorable!!!

Fantastic experience: AK are the best around. Have been going there with my son for years and can’t fault them. Great haircut, full service including facials and ear/nose wax. Makes an old guy feel young. I read two negative reviews the first said they didn’t cut the fringe. He clearly said it was ok and didn’t have the confidence to say because they always make sure you are happy. The other moaned about the prices, I usually get AK special it’s £56 and I round it up to at least £70 because they work hard, know how to cut hair, always friendly and never rush you. I’ve had £15 hair cuts completed in 10 minutes, AK it’s usually an hour of pampering, how is that expensive ‍♂️ 5 starts all the way, will never go elsewhere!
