Positive experience: Came in for a 3 year old haircut But tbh I didn't think the job was amazing. Not worth 40$ Missed some of his hair on the left side. Didn't do the design on both sides but did it on one. Didn't want to just trim the front just a tad bit more Just didn't think that haircut was with all that and for 40$ Maybe like 10 or 15 Place was clean I give it that and they used gloves but still Went to another place for my other kid and got it for 25 with tip and it looks eaaay cleaner and better.

Positive experience: Stopped in here as I was in the mall and figured I would grab a cut. Friendly welcoming, great hair cut, decent prices. This location needs some update cleaning..... Shelves and doors showing major wear, sink had major water marks etc. just looked like it had been abused hard. Perhaps some deep cleaning and repairs needed to ensure visual presentation is inviting.

Negative experience: asked for a blow out taper don’t even know what they gave me worst hair cut off all time

We had been at the mall around Christmas and he was too shy to go in, but he remembered the spinning barber shop poles outside, and today was the day he was ready to go. Fantastic experience: We had initially went to a different hair salon in the mall for my little brothers haircut and they didn’t do a good job, we decided to ask this barbershop if they were somehow able to fix the really messed up haircut. They exceeded our expectations and were able to make it look way better and they did it for free! I would really recommend this place. 10/10 service, they offer complementary drinks as well as candy for the young ones. I’m sure the other barbers are good as well, but the person we had do the haircut was Phil and he did an amazing job.

Negative experience: Place was quiet when I arrived. Service requested was a beard trim and hair cut. Barber was very personable and friendly. A very young guy was assigned to me by some other quiet guy that sat in a chair. Little hesitant, I have gone to many other barbers. I kept an open mind. I am not sure if the quality of service is the fault of the barber or the standards of the establishment? Their website is much more polished in what it says it offers. However real life for me was the opposite. Really fast buzz over hair, no scissors no touch up. Really fast buzz shaving upwards over medium/long length beard. Hair flying in eyes and mouth like power trimming weeds. Left covered in hair with a patchy finish and a few bald over cut sections. Neck was loosely and sloppily shaved, by reaching underneath, not even looking using an electric shaver. No checking of line or symmetry. Left with patchy hairs. Was in and out in under 20 min and the two of us were chatty which added time. Good kid, I left a tip because I felt awkward and genuinely liked him and wish him the best. The cost of the service was about $56 pre tip. No razor, no wash, no hot towels, no after shave, no scissors. No barber experience. I own clippers at home and could have done this myself. The price was insane and you could get close to an hour service at a real barber for this price. My experience was a mix between, a self home buzz and a friend doing it. Sadly, a $30 walk in hair cut at a first choice type establishment would have been far superior. This experience did not remotely resemble a barber shop or anything that should have cost more than $18.

Negative experience: So I got there around one. I got on the chair after a simple taper and it done on the back. I asked the barber could I get a design he said yes but it wouldn’t be for me. I said OK that’s perfectly fine. Just do the cut why is he doing the cut? He asked me half an inch or more I said just half inch he starts cutting way more to the point where I have a bus cut. I absolutely hate this and also my taper was way out of line. It wasn’t in the right place. it wasn’t a different direction and when he was trimming the taper, he was being so hard on my neck, which is the point my neck got red. I don’t recommend this place anywhere if you need a fresh cut And also he cut my hair up to my forehead like up to my hairline when I asked a pacifically, just cut it up right above my eyebrows. I don’t know what’s up with this barber but I officially hate that barbershop and will never go back. Don’t ever go here warning And one last thing I couldn’t even get my design because when I went to go get it for my guy named Patrick in the barbershop, he said he couldn’t do it because he doesn’t have the razors you’re a barbershop. How do you not have the razors you are a barbershop you’re supposed to have the razors How are you gonna open a barbershop when you don’t have the equipment to open it this is pathetic don’t go here.

Fantastic experience: Had Mark cut my hair, and I'm really pleased with the result. The price is reasonable and the service is great. I know that very few women go to barbers, but I was made to feel just as welcomed and comfortable as any other client. Happy to recommend them to friends and colleagues.

Fantastic experience: My son got a horrible haircut at another haircutting chain - we stopped into Tommy Gun's at Fairview Park Mall to see if they could help clean it up and they were amazing!! Not only did his barber give him the BEST haircut he has ever had...they did it for FREE! They didn't make the mistake but they helped him out and were gracious and kind. Definitely gained a new customer in my son, and I will be recommending everyone I can! Great experience all around.

Negative experience: Do not recommend if you're a poc or afro-Hispanic. They have no experience with our type of hair. I came for something that most barbers would consider basic, a taper and clean up mustache/goatee. I had to constantly correct the barber, even remind her to line my hair and stache, details that majority of barbers will do. At the end of it, you pay $60 and leave unsatisfied. As a new resident of cambridge looking for a new barber, would definitely not be back

Fantastic experience: Starting off, the initial impression was excellent. The space was clean, there was a customer already being taken care of who seemed to be engaged in lively conversation, and I was welcomed warmly. Gabby took particular care when washing and doing my hair, and shaped up my beard nicely. He took his time, and showed attention to detail. Lastly, the price is more than fair and I was even offered a drink out of the fridge when I on my way out, free of charge. All of this to say I was more than happy to leave a larger tip, and will absolutely be returning. 10/10 experience.

Negative experience: I am giving two stars instead of one solely because the staff were polite. However, my experience was disappointing. Despite clearly explaining what I wanted and pointing out concerns during the process, I was repeatedly reassured without any real adjustment. My beard was left uneven, and my haircut looks unprofessional. I felt rushed and not listened to. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.

Positive experience: Usually decent cut for a decent price. Was told 20-30 min and was never contacted. Still 2 hours later and nothing. Thank you for wasting my time off. Cheers to the 40 hour work week all.

Negative experience: I visited for hair cut this place as I am new in kitchener. I booked their haircut package which includes hair wash, scalp massage and hot towel which they claim that they do before every haircut as per their website. They only did hair cut nothing else. Making fool people by putting adds on their website. Really disappointed by this. Not recommended next time.

Negative experience: Been coming here for the last few haircuts. This time was the worst haircut hands down I've ever experienced. I asked the barber to do a fade and keep the top the same length and just even it out. They proceeded to take the clippers and shave all the way up to the top of my head. both sides are completely uneven and only shaved half my beard. Left so angry but didn't want to cause a scene.

Negative experience: Management is horrible in this place, i asked for an experienced barber who has experience with fades and they try to put me with a barber who has horrible reviews and when I asked the barber (kayla) if she was familiar with mid-fades she tells me some what, so i asked to be put with another barber who has experience, appreciate the older lady who faded my hair she did amazing

Negative experience: Piss poor service from the front desk. Did a walk in at 8:07pm they said sure, it would be a 45mins wait time. I even asked will I be able to get my cut, yes and they close at 9:30pm . Gave my info and waited in the mall. No calls, no texts. Went at 9:00pm. Reception claimed they called and I showed her my phone, that I got no miss call. I even called out my number again to verify and she pretended to check the number to validate. So now at 9m they are closing and can't cut my hair. Never goin back.

Negative experience: Have been going there for a while. Everything was perfect. Got a haircut today. The barber seemed in rush. Asked for a simple fade and a side part and even after explaining 10 times she got it wrong not happy with the visit.

Negative experience: My son has been waiting to get his hair cut and wanted to come here specifically because his first experience was great. This time not so much. No hair was washed and head massage which is supposed to happen. The man took a phone call in the middle of the haircut. Its completely uneven and hair is all over his shirt. Its nothing like the picture he showed him or explained he wanted. I dont usually complain but i am not impressed. We should not have been charged.

Negative experience: Been going here for a while, came tonight to get a haircut for an interview tomorrow. I specifically picked a certain barber as they have cut my hair before. On multiple occasions now they just given me any random barber while the one I chose went on break, instead of just having me wait a little longer. The lady who cut my hair cut it like she needed to go home and I was a burden on her. Often not even looking at the job she was doing but looking at the other customers and employees. Quite disappointed. The haircut was not great and the experience was worse. Next time I will be refusing my haircut if I don't get who I requested on your app.

Fantastic experience: Randy at Tommy Gunns in Kitchener is hands down the best. I've been to many Tommy Gunns locations as i am a long-haul truck driver. Red Deer, Sherwood Park, Ottawa, Oshawa, London. I've been to see Randy twice, and he takes his time and is careful to listen to what I need. (Bald head shave, beard trim).

After months of searching and having bad luck at some more well-known (and costlier!) hipster places, J.P. was locked in and gave me exactly what I wanted. He was professional and courteous, and explained some of the techniques he used in the Philippines. Tight fade, balanced cut, and styled exactly how I wanted, all with a smile and some personal touches. I will be back!

Negative experience: Worst Booking system ever (or teach me how to use it) Walked in, they said 30 min wait, went back after 30min, they said still 26min wait. Then I saw my name on the monitor with 6min wait, it dropped to 3min then went back to 24min! I cancelled, the person at the counter said it's the way the system works?!?!?

Fantastic experience: walked in and got seated today with mark , we had a consultation of about 5 minutes on how to get the right haircut as i’m very picky with what i like to do with my hair , he nailed it the cut was on point and finished with a wash and hot towel i most definitely recommend the shop it has great vibes and nice refreshments and if you get the opportunity to have mark do the haircut you won’t be disappointed in his work ! i will be back

Negative experience: Man the new lady that cut my hair was so bad like I’ve been liya to this place for over a year now, I showed her a picture like how I want my hair because I want the same one I had last time but no I told her it’s a blending fade but she went on her own and shaved my whole side hair wth. The new guy on the reception was rude as well. I stood there for couple minutes he didn’t even asked me what I want

Negative experience: Avoid this place at all costs, especially if you have children! I brought my 7yo son and husband in for haircuts today, the woman who was cutting my son's hair got angry at him for fidgeting a little (hair was falling in his face and not being removed). She turned to me and said "you need to make him sit still!" then she walked away to a room in the back and didn't return for some time. When she did return she was so impatient with my son, didn't say a word at all, just starting hacking off his hair! She did this haircut as fast as possible, without taking any care at all, literally yanking my boy's head around while she was cutting off his hair. I've never seen someone cut hair so roughly in my entire life, much less with a child! When my husband's haircut was "completed" by the other female hairdresser he had to leave with long pieces sticking out, even at the bottom of his neck! His cut wasn't tapered at all, she cut it all one length up to the top and then the top at a second length and called it done. It's definitely not what he asked for or wanted, and he is not happy with it at all. It was his first and last time at this salon. Neither one of them received any of the services that are advertised as coming with "every hair cut, every time," there was no wash, no massage, no towel and no styling. Both of them left with hair all down their shirts and my boy was really upset. The kid at the desk charged us $75, I asked why we had to pay full price, when they didn't even receive the full service they were supposed to (literally the reason why I brought them to this place), and he just said "that's the price, even if you don't receive the other services." It's not like they had refused these services, they weren't even offered! I guess the advertising only applies when the owner is there watching? My husband paid it just so we could leave as fast as possible. It was literally the worst experience my son has ever had getting his hair cut, and now I have no idea how to convince him it will be ok at a different place next time, so yeah, thanks Tommy Guns for giving him this anxiety!! Shame on your hairdresser for doing that to a child!

Negative experience: Keep away from Shay!!!!!! She messed up my son’s hairstyle even after telling her multiple times we are going for a wedding and more over she was very rude and made us all uncomfortable ! My son is 3.5 years old and he is always very cooperative with the barbers and with this lady she was predetermined he will be fuzzy and wanted us to hold him tight that made him uncomfortable and she didn’t want to listen what style we want to go with instead she was suggesting us which one would fit for him! Very unprofessional lady.

Positive experience: Niso is very talented, professional and personable. My grandfather smiled so vibrantly after getting his hair washed and cut by her. Niso is great!

Fantastic experience: I got a buzz cut, nothing special about that but the shampoo and conditioning was relaxing as she massaged my scalp, the hot towel wrapped around my head after the cut was soothing as well and neither were expected.
