Negative experience: I visited recently, the barber "sabir" was not in a good mood since I arrived. She was very rude during the service, even throwing the machines and clippers on the counter. she was confused with how i was suggesting my hairs to be done and got more rude with it. In the end, i gave up and i said do whatever you want to do and i just want to be out of here. I had plans to do beard trim and hair wash which I decided not to do it. Not to mention, you guys have distributed hundreds of coupons at Kitchener Auditorium and if this kind of service is there it wont work. I wont be coming back.

Negative experience: This was hands down one of the worst salon experiences I’ve ever seen. My boyfriend came in for a haircut and beard trim, and the stylist (dark hair, bright lipstick, ear piercing) absolutely botched it. His hair is lopsided, the beard was not blended at all, and she removed far more than he asked for. It looks horrible. What makes it worse: she was rude, disrespectful, and clearly unprofessional. When he went to pay the full $33 (for terrible work), she loudly quipped to her coworker, “I hate when people can’t afford to tip.” That comment is vile, uncalled for, and unacceptable. I am completed disgusted by how disrespected my partner was by her. We refuse to tolerate treatment like this. We are in the process of escalating this issue to Sport Clips corporate to demand accountability and ensure this behaviour is corrected. No client deserves to be treated as though they’re beneath reproach for simply paying for a service.

Negative experience: I have gone to this location with my sons for dozens of haircuts over the years with great service and results. Until today. I just tried to get a haircut this evening. My wife booked in online as there is usually a lineup and I live 5 minutes from the location. When I arrived, there were 3 staff members, and 1 client in a chair. I noticed my name on the board (the ONLY name) and approached the counter. I introduced myself and said we had booked online. The male staff member (dark complexion, 30-40, long black ponytail, surly expression) who I have never seen there before immediately started insisting that I had to enter my phone number and launched into a lengthy diatribe about why it was so important. His colleague (short, Caucasian, dark beard) tried to de-escalate him by smiling and tried to alleviate the tension by giving a friendly 10 second version. The first staff member then started to head to the chairs and as he walked past the POS terminal, he tapped it emphatically with his hand and sternly said "Next time, put your phone number in." At this point I said "Y'know what? I don't need a lecture on how to get a haircut" and left the location. I went to Great Clips on Highland, met a lovely lady named Brenda who was more than happy to invite me in and couldn't have been nicer. Great haircut, too. So, whoever reads this from this location: fire that guy, and I'll bring back my business. Otherwise, we're now Great Clips customers. Thanks. Don

Fantastic experience: I couldn't be happier with my experience with Sibar, she's extremely talented, pays close attention to detail, and genuinely cares about her clients. Every cut I've gotten from her has been clean, sharp and exactly what I was looking for. On top of that she makes the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable with her energy and professionalism highly recommend booking with Sibar if you want someone who truly takes pride in their work!

Negative experience: Terrible haircut. Cut it too short even though I told him not to do it. Twice!! He also accidentally trimmed my beard to 0. ‍↕️well not going again.

Negative experience: Scam scam scam !!!! They are providing free haircut coupon to everyone around gym and other facilities. But today when i visited and did haircut they said my e-add has been used before too! But i never visited before, however they are acting very differently they used my license and tried to match something. They just tried to sale their products and try to disguise others using coupon and marketing strategies. So if you have coupon pls try to tell them tell me if it is working or not . I know after this msg will sent some manager will comment and will say that i will solve this problem blah blah ! But don't be in this business. Dont trust this business!

Negative experience: Will not be returning. Usually i go with Degni, this time it was someone new. We, as customers , might not know the correct terms to use when asking for a cut, the person who came today could have been patient enough to check it before starting the cut. My kid's hair was turned into a small porcupine, he started crying seeing that. Then had to request to do a full bald head. So that it grows properly beyond this.

Negative experience: I visited Sport Clips on Friday April 25th evening at around 6:30pm after seeing a $15 haircut promotion for new clients on their official website. When I arrived, I showed the offer (with code 3020) to an employee named Sibar. Instead of handling it professionally, Sibar rudely accused me of trying to commit fraud and spoke to me in a loud, disrespectful tone, embarrassing me in front of other customers. Even after showing her the source of the promotion directly from the official website, she only reluctantly accepted it. As a paying customer, this experience was extremely uncomfortable, humiliating, and disappointing. I strongly urge Sport Clips management to properly train their staff on the promotions they advertise, so legitimate customers are not mistreated like this. If this kind of unprofessional behavior continues, they will quickly lose the trust — and loyalty — of their customer base. Serious action must be taken against this employee, including termination, to ensure the store maintains the basic standards of respect and professionalism that customers deserve.

A great place for a haircut, but I’d appreciate a more relaxed approach when it comes to product recommendations.

She was very personable, lovely to talk to and walked me through the whole process while giving me amazing tips on taking care of my hair. Fantastic experience: We took my son into sport clips yesterday and had Harold for the first time, he was amazing. I told him upfront my son isn't great with having his hair cut and Harold was so amazing with him. He is great with kids and definitely will be back to have Harold do it :) My other was getting his hair cut at th same time and I asked my husband what the other hair stylists name was... And he had no idea. But he did an amazing job as well! He seen we didn't have previous notes on file about our hair cut and made some so we knew what to ask for next time. Fantastic experience: I stopped into Sport Clips one day to get a haircut for my son, and Zelfie happened to be available. My son isn’t the easiest when it comes to sitting still for haircuts, but she made him feel comfortable right away and did an excellent job. Since then, she’s been our go-to, and she consistently does great work. Today, I brought my son in for his usual haircut but decided on the spot to get a cut myself since I have an event tomorrow. In 40 years, I’ve only ever let two people cut my hair, and now Zelfie is the third. While she worked, she made some suggestions about my haircut - things no one has ever brought up before. I’m typically very conservative and risk-averse, but her ideas made sense, and I trusted her expertise. I let her carry on, and the results were fantastic. She gave me a style I’ve never had before, and it looked much cleaner and sharper. What stood out most is how passionate Zelfie is about what she does. You can tell her experience - over 20 years - comes through in how effortlessly she works. She genuinely cares about making sure her customers look and feel their best. She could’ve given me the same haircut I always get and called it a day, but she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, knowing I had an important event coming up. I don’t write reviews often, but this experience deserved one. If you’re looking for someone who knows their craft and truly cares about building relationships with their clients, I highly recommend Zelfie at Sport Clips. I’ll definitely be back.

Negative experience: I recently visited this place for haircut and was extremely disappointed. Despite having a valid promo discount code, the staff refused to honor it, citing vague and unconvincing reasons. This felt like a deliberate attempt to overcharge me. The lack of transparency and poor customer service left a bad impression. I expected better from a salon that claims to value it's customers. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for honest and fair treatment.

Fantastic experience: Randomly went there as my normal place tried to charge $65 a few months ago. I was apprehensive about going in but decided to give it a try. Firstly price was way better and other than the cumbersome do it yourself profile tool ‍♂️ on a keyboard from the 80s the staff treated me well, I got a good haircut and walked out with a hair product that I really liked. Fantastic experience: After posting a negative review quite a while ago I have given Sport Clips a second chance. The negative post was due to getting an appointment time in the App. I arrived before that time but was refused the appointment because an employee was getting their cut instead.. They told me it was too late for my appointment.. I asked then why did the app allow me to make that appointment? It was made for 5:30pm and the location closed at 6:00pm. It’s not like I was looking for some fancy hairstyle or something… just a regular haircut! That said… I did go back a few weeks later still using the App to book my appointment. I took the First Available and had Jennifer cut my Hair… That day went well and I was very happy with the service I got. I had been back a few more times without incident. I’m always happy with the haircut I get there and the stylists. I have been lucky enough to get Appointments with Jennifer who has cut my hair before which makes it easier. She knows how I like my hair cut and has nailed it every time! I look at the bad experience as just one of those days… things happen. I haven’t seen the stylists that refused my appointment since that day.. The stylist I see now Jennifer is great.. She gets it right every time. Sometimes I don’t get my hair cut on the exact day I want..but waiting until the next day to have Jennifer cut my hair is easy enough to do and works for me. I will continue to Book my Appointments with her. I Hope you keep her around or at least give her enough time to let her regulars know if your moving her to another location.

I have gone to see Sibar a few times, my boys have very course curly hair and she has managed to please me and my boys every single time, she is extremely professional, she takes her time and makes sure to direct certain questions to the boys about how they would like their hair done, she can hold a good conversation, and her level of experience is exceptional, my boys are extremely happy everytime.

Fantastic experience: It's hit or miss who you get because I opt for first stylist. Either way 80% of the time I leave with a decent haircut. Sometimes people rock, there are a couple I avoid on purpose. When I am listened to, even if it goes against what someone learned in hair school, I get the cut I want. I get a faux hawk and like it to always be styled when I wake up so I ask it be cut in a peak, like a pyramid. Most of the time stylists want to cut it like a caesar and they round it. Cut it on an angle, yes contrary to your teachings, I know how I like the look of my hair. I usually get it cut once a month but it does the trick for the most part so I keep going back. Dont expect the best but its certainly better than first choice.

Fantastic experience: This is the only place my sons will go to get their haircut. We had some MAJOR grow-out after covid lockdowns and we were in desperate need of haircuts! We showed up on a Monday morning around 10am and 2 of my sons were chopped, shaped and looking snappy by 10:30! Thanks SportClips!

Negative experience: I am utterly disappointed this morning. I have been a customer for over 5 years and they can’t follow the system they created. According to online checking and upon reaching confirming that I am available in store I was the first one on deck for Zelfie. They decided to take a customer who was in store and showing to be taken on deck after me. The manager Patricia was laughing when I was raising concern about not following what was displayed. These guys might have just ignore me because I am a visible minority here.

Positive experience: First time going in, the staffs were kinda shocked to see me, later I was told that this is a place for men or people with men hairstyle, it's confusing as the website says they welcome all gender, and I also go in for fast cut back in my hometown, no problem. Anyway, after comforting and convincing the staff, they agreed to help me. One star minus for I hope to see how the overall business emerge into one that welcomes all clients (as long as they have the reasonable expectation of course), cheers!

Negative experience: 2 BIG issues with this place. 1. The app doesn’t work, it does not track LIVE time to appointment. One minute it says 22 minutes to your appointment then a second later it says zero minutes. 2. The company policy is that walk ins take priority over appointments. So if your almost at the store and your appointment is in 5 minutes and there is a walk in, your stylist has to take the walk in, what this does is adds 20 minutes to your appointment time, so now on arrival you have a 20minute wait. This is ridiculous, what’s the point in having an appointment?

Negative experience: I had given a 5 star a month ago and I had to delete it. My son is got the WORST haircut. I guess it’s really hit and miss with who you get. This woman cut him several times and left him with some kind of straight across the head bangs, that he clearly didn’t want. So disappointing!

Fantastic experience: I checked in using the online checkin tool. Show up for the appointed time in was in a seat within 5 minutes and out the door again 15 minutes later with a fresh haircut. Premises were clean and the chair was sanitised while I watched. Never disappointed with my experience.

Negative experience: We had been going there for a while… it was always hit or miss on quality. After my last visit, we will NOT be going back. My son’s haircut was rushed and when I got him outside I could see it was totally uneven. It looked like he had “steps” buzzed above his one ear. My haircut was also terrible AND it was a different stylist. I had to fix our hair myself when we got home.

Fantastic experience: SIBAR IS AMAZING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I took my husband there for a hair cut. He came from another country and has afro hair, so finding a shop that can do his hair proper is a mission. After being scared off by the first salon he went to, (horrible experience), we were fortunate to find Sibar! From Start to finish she was amazing. She won't let you leave until you are completely satisfied. Her VIP treatment was impeccable! My husband loved the entire experience and he'll definitely be back. Super professional and even recommended hair products (that worked) for my husband's dry scalp! The salon is clean and a super cute gym locker set up. Negative experience: How does one cut hair like this. My hair I thought was looking good, only to come home to it looking like a gosh darn wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man. This is honestly alarming if it wasn’t intentional. I’m not even trying to be rude but I don’t genuinely think it’s possible that I asked for a fade, and my hair looks the exact same on the side. She for some reason made my hair shorter on the back than the front making me look like a pony, and then cut me bangs as well???! I would pay to not got there again… overpriced and no results

Negative experience: Very hit and miss. I have gone many times in the past, and when you get a good hair dresser, you end up with a pretty good cut. However, not all the hair dressers are trained to the same level, and I have had a fair share of very poor cuts. It's purely out of convenience I have gone in the past, but I'll be looking to go further out of my way going forward to try and get better consistency.

Negative experience: It was truly a really bad experience for me, i dont know the name of the barber but she was at seat 8. She did such a terrible job with my hair. I asked for skin fade and she couldnt even do proper fade. It was so bad that i had to go to different barber today to fix the fade. I will never come to this place ever again, this was truly one of the worse experience i have ever had

Positive experience: My husband's haircut experience was highly organized, from entering to exiting the shop. The wait time was minimal, which was a plus. The only drawback was the beard trim; an extra $10 was charged for what felt like a quick touchup. We suspect this might have been due to the shop closing soon.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience. First time at the Sport Clips, and my hair stylist was incredible. I was so impressed by the atmosphere, the services, the hot towel and hair wash, the massaging chair. The whole time I was there I couldn’t stop smiling. I’m a guy in my mid 40’s whose hair is growing thin, and not many stylists know how to work with it, but the cut I got at Sport Clips is truly the best haircut of my life. My wife was blown away when I returned home, and we both agree that Sport Clips just got a die hard customer for life!

She even don't ask before doing anything. Cut my mustache from one side and say it will grow no worries. That's not the right way to deal with your customers. Even cut on side of ears was not perfect. There is only option to give one star else i can't even gave one star to this experience. Don't hire inexperienced staff if you want to run your business.
