Negative experience: Horrible haircuts they mess you up everytime they don’t know how to cut afros, and super expensive, don’t waste your money and time with them the cuts are trash!!

Negative experience: Do not book with Ayden - Don’t get haircuts with him, not sure where he learned to cut but it definitely wasn’t anywhere legitimate.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Goodfellaz Barbershop, and I am extremely impressed with Sheelan, she didn't just cut and style my hair perfectly but she educated me on some minor tweaks to how I style my hair based on my hair type. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Sheelan for around 3.5 years now. I even moved to London 2 years back and still make sure to come and see her whenever I’m in town. She is irreplaceable. I’ve never found anyone with such attention to detail, who also takes the time needed to do a proper fade. No rush jobs. It’s also a bonus that she is one of the most lovely people you can be lucky to enough to cross paths with. She has a lifer in me.

Negative experience: I’ve been a regular client of Gary for a while, but my recent visit was disappointing. Despite kindly accommodating me after I arrived 10-12 minutes late, the haircut felt rushed. Gary completed my skinfade and shampoo in just 25 minutes, and the result was far below his usual standard. For $51, I expected better quality and attention to detail. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider returning.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Goodfellaz Barbershop for a long time, even before it was Goodfellaz. I’ve been getting my haircut from MK for 8 years + now. These guys aren’t just barbers, they’re artists. They work hard everyday and actually care, they look to get better and they constantly upgrade equipment. They provide not just fades but also quality scissor work and proper styling, especially ask for MK, Ibby, Mustafa or Garry. The community is unmatched, once you get to know the guys everyone is friendly, sincere, genuine and just want you to have a good experience. They recently opened up their new location in Waterloo and they deserve it too. Haircuts are on the above average price side relative to the market but if you’re someone who cares about how you look and feel and want to walk out knowing it was done right, then look no further. I’ve tried a lot of shops (I’m a weekly client… yes I know) and in a pinch have tried other spots and nobody else puts the time and care like these guys do. Will confidently say they are the best barbers in the Kitchener / Waterloo.

Negative experience: Disappointing Experience Due to Lack of Attention and Consistency I visited this barber with my friend and provided clear instructions for a specific haircut. Unfortunately, despite our detailed explanation, he defaulted to the same style he always does, ignoring our request entirely. It seems that regardless of the hairstyle you ask for, he delivers the same cut. Moreover, his attention to detail was nonexistent. During the haircut, he appeared distracted, frequently glancing at the door and the next customer, rather than focusing on the person in his chair. This lack of concentration and professionalism made the experience feel rushed and insincere. Overall, the service did not meet expectations, and I cannot recommend this barber to others seeking attentive and personalized care.

Negative experience: I find it ridiculous that this barbershop has raised their prices for their new location in Waterloo, even for long term clients. So I have to drive even further to another city to see my same barber and waste my gas! plus pay a higher fee ?? Most barbershops grandfather the price for their long term customers. I’ll be going somewhere else… way too greedy for money here and definitely not tipping anymore.

Introduced himself,.shook hands, asked me what kind of cut I was looking for and explained the details of the "fade" cut. We struck up some great conversation while I was in the chair, which was very natural considering we met for the first time. His attention to detail was awesome and when you can make a 58 year old customer look like he's actually got more hair on the top, that's incredibly good cutting and styling. Fantastic experience: Have been going to Goodfellaz for a couple of years now, and have tried multiple barbers (more recently Mustafa and Lucky), and they all have done a wonderful job! The only downside is sometimes I’ve had to wait, even if I booked an appointment, but the great service I always receive makes up for it.

Negative experience: Awful! My son went in with long hair. I asked to have it stay long but to have it cut a little with some shape. I showed many long hair example photos. I said, “he wants it kept long. He likes it long.” He came out with a short mullet. The guy literally ignored what I had said and did whatever he wanted. My kid is now crying and crying, with good reason. Not to mention it’s a really bad hair cut. The sides are all different lengths. It’s the worst hair cut ever and it’s not what we wanted at all. It’s awful. So bad. I’m literally sick to my stomach about it. I know hair grows out but come on. Nothing what we asked for and it’s bad. I literally never leave reviews but I’m so upset I feel like I have to to save others from future doom. He literally had a panic attack after we left. People want their hair cut the way they want it not the way the barber thinks it should be.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever. Never gonna go again. Gary was my barber, went from london to Kitchener cause a friend recommended gary. Tried showing him a videos of my old haircut just wanted the exact same thing but he didn’t listen didnt even saw the video, said I will do as a I want, he was confident about it. I thought he knew what he was doing but at the end he made a joke out of me. Had to wear a cap for a whole month. And I paid extra to get it done from him. Save your money go somewhere else.

Negative experience: We had a terrible experience. We took our 7-year-old son the haircut is not blended nor is it what we asked for. In addition, The stylist did not listen to our wishes and said nothing the entire cut, not one word. For the price of a cut I was expecting much more then what we got

Positive experience: Booked an appointment for a haircut. I was assigned to Lucky, who did a wonderful job with my hair. After the haircut, I asked if he could do my beard as well but as I had initially only booked for a haircut and he had a client waiting, he couldn't do it - which I understand. I asked if someone else could do it and they managed to find someone who was free. The new guy was friendly but he was in a hurry. I just needed to shape my beard, nothing fancy. He shaped it but it was not clean at all. The next day, I had a long noticeable pinkish mark on my left cheek where he used the blade. If you do not have time to properly do the work, please just say no in the future.

Negative experience: They denied to take me because I was 10 minutes late for the appointment. Once I waited for them when they delayed my appointment by 15 minutes because of some other guy. I saw zero customer service here. Hair stylist booked name was Lucky. The lady on the telephone was also rude.

Negative experience: My kids had a few good hair cuts here... But, the last haircut made me never want to return. The fade was non-existent, they didn't clean up at all, a tonne of hair sticking up from all directions, my youngest had a whole section in the back they just forgot to trim. Around their ears was so poorly cut it looked like a child did it. Honestly extremely disappointed to have to cut their hair at home after they've supposedly received a professional service. The inconsistency is not worth it when you have an event or something important to attend, even if you go to supercuts, you'll get a more consistent outcome.

His attention to detail was on point and my fade is blended better than 99% of the other places I’ve been for a hair cut! It wasn’t just a hair cut it was a hair experience, and a pleasant one at that!

Despite instructing me to arrive in 10 minutes, they prioritized someone else over me, which felt discriminatory. Rude and rough behaviour from the Receptionist . She didn’t even know how to communicate with clients. I would not go back again & do not recommend.

Negative experience: Went there for a haircut. Felt like they were rushing too much to get rid of me. I have never been to a place where they rush this much to cut someone's hair. Had unevenness in hair, mentioned that. Negative experience: ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE I had an appointment for 4:15 with garry. I called them in advance that im coming from a different city and could be 5-10 minutes late for my appointment and the lady on the phone said that it is fine, you can come its not a problem. And when i showed up at their barbershop at 4:25pm, i was told to sit and wait. After 5 mnts this lady comes to me and told me sorry we cannot take you because you are 15 minutes late. I cannot believe they lured me here and then cancelled on me. PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON THESE PEOPLE AND SAVE YOUR TIME. DISSAPOINTMENT IS ALL YOU CAN GET HERE.

Fantastic experience: I have very curly hair which grows in all directions, i have tried MULTIPLE hairdressers and barbers looking for a place that can do a good job. Since trying goodfellaz i have not gone anywhere else, both Mk and Mustafa do an amazing job, its not easy fading curly hair thats grows every direction and I ALWAYS leave incredibly happy, i will be a long time customer because of this and tell everyone i know about the great experience iv had here.
