Negative experience: I struggle with this place. I love my barber, Carlos is the only I reason I come back. Also the front desk staff is very friendly. However in the many times I've had an appointment, not once is my chair ready on time. It seems as they always try to "squeeze" another client in before my appointment that I book hours in advance which means me sitting for upwards of 20 minutes. Also the old lady with the bright fake red hair (I assume the owner) completely ruins the vibes whenever she's there. She micromanages her employees at all times and that very visibly ruins the vibes of everyone around. Red hair lady if you're reading this, spend less time upfront because you make things hostile for both your clients and your staff.

Negative experience: I went there for a beard trim which is priced at 18 dollars. By the time I was done it was 51 dollars. I dont know why there were so many hidden fees. They did an excellent job but I will not be recommending anyone to this place or be going back. If you are adding things to someone's bill your to let them know. How shady of a place left a sour taste in my mouth.

Negative experience: We were in need to get my young son in for a haircut due to his regular Barber being on vacation. We thought we would give this place a shot, although the staff at the front desk are very friendly and offering clients beverages, the Barber on the other hand was rude and arrogant staring down my husband at the end to make sure he gave a tip for a pretty bad haircut that was so badly done and choppy as well as uneven! For this type of arrogance you better hone your craft! We will not ever go back unfortunately.

Negative experience: Sorry, firdt time at that location, ill never go back. Not gonna go through the whole story but, to the point, I asked if she knew how to do a fade, she said yes....nope, she does not. Sides dont match at all. Yeah, I should of noticed it when she used the mirror, naughty me, but I was in a rush and didnt realise till hours later. Cant believe I laid $50 for this magic cuts type job. Negative experience: Told my friend that they had lice and kicked him out. After spending 30+ Dollars we found out that he did not in fact have like. Pretty sure they just didn't want to do his hair since it was quite long. Not coming back here thanks.

Negative experience: This is the worst place ever, I went there for a regular haircut, the lady assigned one of the barbers for me whom I noticed was unfriendly, never smiled or greeted the customer, I asked for a nick strip and he said we dont have that, although the roll is right there on the shelve, only when I pointed it for him, he reluctantly took one and used it. he went straight to start cutting my hair without asking me how I want it, I had to pause him and let him know what I need, I also asked if possible to wash my hair beforehand to remove hair gell, he was unhappy but did it quickly, (Although they make you pay for each hair wash) I smiled and asked what was his name as the lady of the front desk mentioned it earlier but I forgot,so I can definitely avoid booking with him again, he said " you can call me boss!" I realized he must have had a bad day or maybe the previous customer pissed him off or something, Anyway, despite my requests, he performed few tip of hair cuts, and said there you go, anything else? To my surprise I asked him if possible to cut it more, he refused and rudely informed to go to next barber, so I went to front desk with half a haircut and informed her! Wondering if I have done anything wrong when I ask to cut my hair more?! Her excuse was, he must be having a bad day, What made it worse was the old lady " I assume manager" where she literally told me " I dont want any confrontation here", as this was her most and only concern! The younger lady assigned me for another barber who was embarrassed by his fellow employee actions and kept apologizing. I have been to that place many times before, only that day my regular barber was off, Im not sure who said " attitude reflects management" but I can now clearly see why! Will never go there again, and I strongly recommend you dont, unless you want some poorly trained barber to ruine your hair and make you pay for it.

Negative experience: I Made a Appointment for My Son He usually sees Randy all the time knowing I Just Drop him off at front. I came back and seen a woman barber doing his hair I got mad and told her his hair way to short and she keep cutting it. My son Wears glasses and cant see what she Doing I Said Can't u see it short and why this woman doing your hair? Front desk girl was so snobby like was my fault Saying I should request same ? Like why and whats a woman barber doing there anyways? Why I go there...my son hair short gave me a cheap discount. Will lower to 1 star now lol I’ve been going to Tommy Gun’s at Polo Park on and off for a few years, mostly because it’s convenient—right in the mall, walk-ins only, and it has that cool 1930s speakeasy vibe with the check-in kiosks, TVs at each chair, and the promise of a relaxing “experience.” Back in the day, it felt like a step up from the basic chain places; the hot towel, scalp massage, and shampoo made a simple haircut feel a bit luxurious. But lately, it seems like the focus has shifted entirely to the show rather than delivering consistent, quality cuts—especially for the price they charge. A basic men’s haircut here starts around $35–$45 (plus tip, easily pushing $50+), and if you add any extras like a beard trim, you’re looking at even more. That’s way overpriced compared to other spots in Winnipeg where you can get a solid cut for $25–$30 without all the upselling of premium products at the end. It feels like you’re paying mall-rent prices for what often turns out to be a rushed, assembly-line job. My most recent visit was the breaking point. I brought my son in for a straightforward youth cut—nothing fancy, just a clean trim. The stylist barely spoke English, so they didn’t really consult him at all, didn’t ask what he wanted or how he liked it styled, and just went ahead with whatever they thought was best. The result was a terrible, uneven haircut that looked sloppy and nothing like what we had in mind. It was noticeably lopsided, the lineup was off, and overall it just felt rushed—like they were trying to get us out the door quickly to make room for the next walk-in. When I tried to point it out and explain the issue, the language barrier made it even harder to communicate, The atmosphere is still fun if you luck out with a slower day and a good stylist—the free drinks, comfortable chairs, and grooming add-ons can make it enjoyable for some. And I know a lot of people swear by certain barbers there who take their time and deliver great results. But it’s too hit-or-miss now, especially with kids or simple styles. The inconsistency, high prices, rushed service, and occasional language barriers just don’t justify it anymore. I won’t be back. There are better options in Winnipeg, or some of the independent spots—that offer more reliable cuts at fairer prices without all the flashy gimmicks. Save your money unless you’re dead set on the “experience” and don’t mind rolling the dice on the quality. Disappointing decline from what it used to be.

Negative experience: This evening, my partner was discriminated by barbers at Tommy guns polo park.he went to try get a haircut and a shave. There was 5 barbers available and not one of them wanted to take him. So we up and left, the barbers were all shaking their heads saying no to him. Won’t be going in there anymore.

Fantastic experience: The front desk lady was able to squeeze me in for a haircut when i came by the shop with no booked appointment. She even gave me a call 5 mins before my scheduled time to remind me. The stylist was very professional and you can tell from the way he work that he is very skilled and experienced in his craft. Very meticulous in details especially on the fade and overall look of the hairstyle. He even trim my eyebrows which for me is above and beyond the service that I'm expecting. All these made my latest visit to this shop the best compared to the previous ones i had. Will definitely get my next haircut here!

Negative experience: I’ve been to Tommy Guns three times now, and honestly, I’m extremely disappointed — not just with the haircut, but with the lack of follow-up and accountability from management. During my most recent visit, the staff were friendly, and the stylist was polite, which I appreciated. However, the actual haircut was a poor experience from start to finish. It took a full hour, I was turned away from the mirror the entire time (which felt very strange), and an excessive amount of water and product were used. I showed the stylist a clear photo of how I wanted my hair — a picture of my own previous haircut — but what I ended up with was far from that. When I left, it looked “okay” at first glance, mostly because I couldn’t see the process or the details while he was cutting. But the next day, when I styled it myself, I noticed all the issues: uneven lengths, one side cut too short, and sections that were completely missed. Some of it can be fixed, but some will just have to grow back. For someone who said they’d been cutting hair for six years, I expected a lot more skill and attention to detail. What really pushed me to write this review, though, is the complete lack of response afterward. I gave a 3-star rating when they texted to ask how my visit went and explained exactly what happened. They said a manager would review it and get back to me — but no one ever did. No call, no email, no apology, nothing. This was my third chance giving Tommy Guns my business: • The first visit was great (a Father’s Day straight razor shave). • The second visit left me with an uneven beard lineup. • The third was the worst haircut I’ve had in a long time. It’s incredibly frustrating to see how poor the customer service follow-up has become. After reading other reviews with experiences almost identical to mine, it’s clear this is a pattern — and “please email customer service” isn’t good enough. Management had the chance to make things right and didn’t bother. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone who values quality or accountability.

Negative experience: My haircut was a 3/10 but literally only spent like 8 mins with me, that's $6.25/min. the 4 things guaranteed they do like rinse.and wash or hot towel, i got none of it. Its always something at this location. I'll stick with the Kenaston location but they were under construction. Again haircut was a fine but service is abysmal. I literally ordered my takeout at food court and walked over there and was done in 7-8 mins.

Negative experience: I came in for a walk in service yesterday and the barber I had was quite rude. He was thinning out my hair and he was so rude with the thinning scissors he wasn't even done the full snip and he'd pull it out of the hair it felt like he was ripping my hair out. And the job the barber has done was not the best. The haircut was so rushed and there where long hairs where it was supposed to be shorter. And when the barber put texture spray in my hair he was spraying it in my eye. And when he wanted me to turn my head for my haircut he didn't tell me to turn my head he just forced my head where he wanted it. So therefore I will not be coming back to this location of Tommy guns as I never had this kind of experience from here before.

Negative experience: First I cam there with a haircut design and was talked out of it because the barber wasn't confident in his skills. I was right to talk himself out of something he couldn't do, and all I want was a decent mullet and yes my hair was perfect, but that's why ylu gotta take upu time and not rush a person out of your chair just because you lack the confidence to be around them. Now thank God I can rock any hair style.... even this hack job and I could have done a better job by myself. Especially seeing some of the work leaving that place. It is hard for me to get behind this hacked up fade, on the side here It is also hard for me to get behind the uneven frame of my face, noticeable in the front. Anyways don't go here if you wanna a real hair cut .. with real style. Go here if you want a generic hair cut and to have a male massage you. Anywys have a good day people

Negative experience: Poor service. Booked an appointment for 7:30 pm. Was there 5 mins early and checked in at 7:25 pm. Was told to wait while I saw my name keep getting pushed from 1st on the list down to 5th while they continued to accommodate others over me. I discussed it with them but they brushed it off, saying I am next in line. After which they continued to let a few more people go before me. After 30 mins, I couldn't wait any longer, so I left. No surprise they called me right after I left. I let them know that I won't be returning. They should really learn to manage their bookings better and not waste clients time. This is a common issue with this place. I will definitely not be returning. Zero stars if there was an option.

Negative experience: The worst and most unprofessional barbershop in all of Winnipeg. I’ve never seen a worse place in my life. Twice now we scheduled an appointment, and both times they canceled on me just 30 minutes before the haircut. And I drive an hour from another city to get there. This has been going on for two weeks. I honestly believe this is either racism or discrimination — there’s no other way to explain it. We called ahead, not 30 minutes before, but a whole day in advance, and they confirmed the appointment. We arrived early — even waited 30 more minutes — and then suddenly, just before the haircut, they call and say: “Oh, the barber decided to leave early today.” What does that even mean? Why did you accept the appointment in the first place? If the barber knew he wanted to leave early, why take clients at all? This is unacceptable, outrageous, and honestly just unbelievable. Where is the manager? What is the administrator even doing there? How can you confirm appointments days ahead and cancel them last minute — more than once? What’s the point of having an administrator if she just picks up the phone but takes no responsibility for anything?

Negative experience: Would give 0 star if google let me or even negative. The guy wearing gym clothes had weird armpit odour (who cuts hair in tank top and shorts???). Anyway, the guy was straight up rude, took 5 minutes to look at my hair and when I asked him, the response was just checking if you got lice in your hair(bruh whaat). Oh well, fair enough cause my hair was LONG. Moving on, just kept my chair rotating and telling me to keep head straight if I want a haircut(straight up rude behaviour). Overall had a very bad experience and won’t go to Tommy gun’s.

Positive experience: Never know what you experience you will get. The first couple times it was great, now I am actually wondering how much experience these employees actually have. My last experience I told the lady that I wanted my hair shortened and she said you want it cleaned up. I said yes. Well I basically got a shampoo for 46.00 bucks. So I guess in all you either have the barber you like or you take your chances going here.

Positive experience: Was my first time here. Waited a bit longer than should. Asked barber to combine two styles from reference pictures. Nick did a great job on that. I also have some moles on my head that barbers like to cut. Nick did not cut any. Overall would recommend this place, free soda, nice service and seems like barbers are really skilled. The only thing is that for some reasons I paid $46 instead of $38 and unfortunately I did not have time to complain as there was a huge line and I was late (Seems like they charged me for a "back of neck shave" which I actually did not ask for nor received). Did not like that part because I'd rather tip my barber who did a great job.

Fantastic experience: I took my 4 year old in for his second ever hair cut and he was on board and super happy… It was his idea so def wasn’t forced… he let Mohammed cut the first bit fine but I could see my sons nerves rising and then the barber raised the chair and my son had a full on meltdown!!!! However the way the situation was handled was amazing everyone in the salon was so kind and helpful and all played a part of making my son complete the task of cutting his hair! cheering him on the lady at the till was offering him juiceboxes and a little girl was offering fruit snacks just being very kid freindly, we managed to get the coolest hair cut and after about 10 minutes of mommy snuggles and letting Mohammed cut his hair he sat up like a big boy and let him even use the clippers at the very end! this place was clean and so amazing I highly recommend this place I am extremely happy with my sons haircut and so is he! Fantastic experience: Overall, the staff are very kind and welcoming. To start, the wait time was inaccurate but it's not too big of a deal as I understand that haircut durations differ between each client and it wouldn't be fair to criticize them for that. The receptionists were very respectful, cooperative, and very easy to speak with. I got a haircut last week and the barber absolutely killed it. I think his name is Carlo if I remember correctly. Would most definitely recommend going to him if you are looking for a professional. Very educated in his field of work. Enjoyed the experience and will definitely be coming back soon.

Fantastic experience: Alright, so I walk into Tommy Guns looking like I just lost a bet with a lawnmower. I sit down, not expecting miracles—just damage control. But what happened next? Sorcery. Pure, follicular sorcery. My barber (shoutout if I knew your name, legend. Ryan I think?) took one look at my chaotic head and said, “I got you.” And boy, did they deliver. I walked out looking like I pay taxes early and give solid life advice. The fade? Crisp. The vibe? Immaculate. Honestly, 11/10. I’d let them cut my hair blindfolded next time and still trust the outcome.
Negative experience: Worst hair and beard cut experience of all time. The process was extremely slow, over an hr for a basic cut. The barber did a terrible job, got distracted and kept walking away, and then the beard was multiple lengths and angles. Literally so bad the only solution was go home and shave everything and start fresh. Also expensive. Will never go back. Do not recommend.

Negative experience: I went to get my hair cut today. I showed a reference photo and two instructions for the haircut: a high fade on the sides and only the ends of the rest, emphasizing that I wanted to maintain the style I had. I don't know when trimming the ends turned into cutting 5 centimeters (measured), leaving me with almost no hair and a circumference on one side that prevents my hair from growing evenly. And add the observation that only at the beginning of the cut was I in a position to see the mirror to know what he was doing. Before and after photos PS: And now I realized that in the back I've practically left no long hair.

Negative experience: Just Awful! I feel like I got mugged and lost $50. I went to the Winnipeg/Polo Park location this evening for my usual clean-cut service which has always been great at every other location. This was my first time at this location, will be my last visit to not only that location, but ANY Tommy Gunn's. I was texted that my appointment was "0 minutes" away and arrived right away. I then waited 15 minutes - a little more than "0" but no big deal. When I sat down in the chair the stylist didn't even greet me - just kind of motioned to the chair. I later discovered why as he didn't really speak much English, but was quite happy to speak Persian to his co-worker beside him. He started the cut with the clippers, slamming them into my head as he circled my head. He then trimmed the rest with the scissors. He then proceeded to start the neck shave of the clean cut. No lotion, no shaving cream, just a completely dry straight razor scraped down my neck. When that torture was finally over he spun we around and made some gesture towards the sink. I assume it was time for the signature wash/condition/scalp massage. He wet my head and then before I could barely start the feel the moisture he slapped what I assume was shampoo on my head. About 3 seconds of barely tossing that around and he was already rinsing that out. Before I could even figure out what just happened there was a towel on my head and he was drying it off. No condition and absolutely no scalp massage. The worst was yet to come however. He grabbed his desert-dry razor again and started going at my goatee. Nothing I asked for, for sure. The dry scraping of the razor across my face continued while I sat there somewhat stunned. When that was over I looked in the mirror and saw that he took it upon himself to give me some sort of pencil-thin goatee that looked more like I was shaved by Michael J. Fox It looked absolutely awful, and my chin was now bleeding as he looked at me in the mirror and said, "This...this is gift." What an absolutely horrendous experience. No scalp massage, no conditioning, and not what I asked for. His bonus "gift" means I get to feel razor burn and bleed from not only my neck, but my face too - thanks alot. I feel like I have to now go home and shave my goatee off completely so that I don't look like some sort of 80s gigalo at work tomorrow. Not only was this not a "Tommy Gunn's" experience, it was the worst haircut experience I've ever had. You should save yourself further embarrassment and just close this location down permanently!

Negative experience: My boyfriend and son went to get a haircut at Tommy gun's like they always do. I'm not sure if it was a new barber but my son came home looking like a 5 hr old went crazy with the razor. He had an un even line and was bald in places. He is 7 yrs old and was embarrassed to go to school the next day! I couldn't believe my bf actually paid for this. I'll be going in person tonight to complain!

Negative experience: Requested a taper, I gave her very simple specifics and she completely did the opposite. Didn’t include a lineup on the hairline on top or sides? Does this cost extra now a days or did she just start working as a barber today? How you become a barber and not know what a taper is, probably the most common haircut today. Didn’t catch the name, some white blonde chick with glasses and a lisp it seems, request a different barber.

Negative experience: The main issue I had yesterday was that the barber decided to cut my eyebrows. I never asked or mentioned anything about facial hair. For something that takes 4 months to grow back, she should've asked before hand. I had to leave a review about it. Otherwise the haircut was ok The towel used was uncomfortably hot as well. Positive experience: Booked an appointment and showed up on time. I still had to wait 20 minutes. After waiting, it took about 30 minutes to cut my hair. My haircuts aren't complicated. It's a zero fade, military style cut. I also provide photos of my previous haircuts for reference. Anyone who is experienced can get my hair done in 10 minutes. I am so sick of waiting in line at barbers just to end up sitting there for another 30 minutes while they cut my hair. And then to have the audacity to charge $38 for a basic haircut - ridiculous! Even their buzz cuts are something absurd, like $25. My time is worth something too!

Nice I guess definitely not what he wanted at all he even had a reference picture. Fantastic experience: My 6 years old boy had first time going to ‘big boy’ barber shop and he told me that he gave it 10 out of 10 to his hairdresser! He was so happy with all of the experiences including his first time got hair wash in salon and the final look he wanted to be! Negative experience: Overpriced and unorganized. My brother went in today for a haircut (trim) and he was supposed to get a discount like 5 dollars off or something like that for having had an appointment in the past. Anyways the store was so busy and rushed, the counter lady forgot to give him his discount and had to pay an expensive amount for a simple trim. I will never allow him to go here again. Stay away from this place and support barbers and salons outside of the mall. I used to work in Polo Park at the food court, I understand that it’s a very busy mall but costumers deserve to be tended to correctly.

Negative experience: I am extremely dissatisfied with the services at your barbershop. Your staff is very rude and inexperienced. I don’t know where your hairdressers were trained and where they got their credentials, but they clearly lack the necessary skills for hair and beard grooming. The hairstyles they give are disastrous. We specify what we want, but they do whatever they can, and it seems like they gain their experience by ruining our hairstyles. Moreover, your scheduling is highly unreliable. This unprofessional and unacceptable behavior is a major concern for me. If these issues are not promptly and adequately addressed, I will be compelled to take legal action. Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 of Canada, you are obligated to provide the promised services with adequate quality. Section 9 of this Act explicitly states that service providers must perform their services with reasonable skill and care. Furthermore, under Section 14, you are required to adhere to your contractual obligations and scheduling commitments. Additionally, according to the Competition Act of Canada, any misleading advertising or failure to deliver services as advertised can be considered a violation of the law and subject to legal action. Given the above, I expect these issues to be resolved swiftly and appropriately. Otherwise, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action. I must also mention that one of your barbers caused an injury to my neck, which is unacceptable and indicative of a lack of care and skill.

Negative experience: I took my kids for a haircut on April 6th. During the haircut, they accidentally scratched my son's face and left a bruise and ended up removing part of his eye brow too. The worst part is the hair dresser didn’t even inform me about the incident. I understand these things happen with kids. All I’m looking forward is some accountability. I had to find this from my 6 year old son. My husband emailed them about the incident on April7th and they responded on 8th and asked him for more details so they could ask the manager to get back to us. And it’s been almost 2 months now and we haven’t received any messages from their team.

Negative experience: i wasn’t expecting anything super special from the barber. i walked in and the girls working the front where very respectful and super nice. i sat there for awhile waiting to be called back it was not very long and i was in the barber area. it was super messy and there was hair everywhere the hair was on my stool and i was a little bit shocked. i’m not sure if this is something they do at all shops like this or if they where just busy. i sat down and the lady asked me what i wanted. at this point i was a little indecisive as if i should go short or stay long. she seemed to have a clear idea of what i should have done: cut it a little shorter above the ears, leave the front the same length and cut the back off a half an inch. this got my hopes up and i was really excited about how it was going to look. she ended up cutting the front, a lot off the back and above the ears which is clearly not what she told me before. she seemed super rushed i was in and out in 5 mins and she forgot to shave off my neck and do anything to my sideburns. i walked out of there very disappointed and it had made me realize that these establishments are the worst place to get your haircut.

Negative experience: I took my 2 year old son to get a haircut today at the Polo Park location. He does have a hard time getting haircuts so he became upset when we got to the chair, before the cut even started. The hair dresser (whose name I didn’t get) was very nice and was going to try with him. We weren’t given more then 2 minutes before the owner came out to say in a very aggressive rude tone that they couldn’t cut my son’s hair because he was crying. She went on to say that the person getting a straight razor cut could jump because of the crying. She was absolutely rude and condescending in the way she addressed us. I understand it’s hard to cut a crying/ upset child’s hair. But they do offer cuts to kids off all ages. We should have been given a chance to get him adjusted before we were essentially kicked out of the shop. She made us feel shamed as parents in the way she spoke to us and said our son was traumatized. Pretty pathetic behaviour from a store owner.

Negative experience: When I walked up to the desk and asked for a buzz cut (an actual option listen on the giant chart as you walk in) the lady at the desk literally said “a buzz? Like, on the head”? I was assigned a person to cut my hair, and they brought me in. I confirmed I wanted a number 2 buzz. When asked if I wanted anything else done, I asked to have my sideburns shortened by half. The person cutting my hair actually said “we’ll do a 1.5 and leave a little bit”. Um, no…I said shortened by half. I don’t normally judge with these kinda things, but they clearly were struggling with English so I questioned if they understood my instructions. At the end of the haircut, the barber was paying a lot of attention to the back of my head so I assumed they were doing a good job, but my friend told me when I got home it was an uneven M shape. As I was waiting to pay, some one I assumed was a supervisor or manager walked out into the waiting area and started putting their staff down by yelling “I have barbers standing around not cutting hair, why aren’t you calling anyone”. Come on, a little professional wouldn’t hurt…we’re customers not just numbers to push through. Maybe if there wasn’t such a rush to get clients through mistakes like what happened on my cut could be avoided. After all this, I went home to a friend who used to cut hair. They spent 15 minutes trimming all the long strands of hair left from my “like, a buzz on the head” and cleaning my neck line to a proper taper. I will not be going back to Tommy Guns

Negative experience: My son is visibly Indigenous and was racially profiled at this location by a male Philippino worker. He went in to this location as he usually does, and was refused service as this worker told my son had a lice egg in his hair. I checked my son’s head thoroughly for lice and he did not have a single lice egg in his hair. We will no longer be using this location and will be considering filing a human rights complaint against this location.

Negative experience: Edit: I AM NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN. I gave them a final chance last month. I called prior to coming in and told the person I spoke to my concerns. I told them that last time I went, the person who cut my hair rushed it and did patchy work. I want somebody who will put in a little more care and who has experience doing professional/classic types of cuts. She found a person for me. Great, I thought. The first two minutes I was sat with the guy, I honestly felt like he was on drugs or something. He was very hyperactive, overstimulated, and the way he would hyper-focus in one area, and repeatedly use the hair clipper there, repeating it several times in different places, was very strange. I showed him what I wanted and, at the end, reminded and showed him how I wanted the back done. He just flicked his hand and was like "Nah, that's not good. I'll do better." IT WAS SO BAD. I had to get it fixed elsewhere ... the day before my flight for business. I AM NOT GOING TO ANY TOMMY GUNS ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN. I have the mind to call the manager and complain, but it's a waste of my time. It's my hair, it's MY call on how I want my hair done! No more chances to give. Prior review: I used to really like going there when my barber was there. He was very careful with his cuts, attentive to detail, never rushed, etc. Five stars. After he left to be with family a few months ago, I tried one of the other barbers there. I was surprised at how fast the cut was; my previous barber would take around 50 minutes (because he was careful), this guy took maybe 25 minutes which wasn't necessarily a bad thing ... if he had only given me a decent cut. When I got home, I noticed how patchy my hair was and other people noticed it too. It was rushed and it also just wasn't good. It's now been around two months since I've had a cut anywhere. I might give it another try with someone else at Tommy Gun's, but I am hesitant. I have to really think about it.

Fantastic experience: What a great option while you are at the mall patiently waiting as your family shops. I’ve probably had 6 haircuts here and I have always been happy with the results. They have a great reception/waiting room with several big screen tvs. I have been offered beverages while waiting my turn as well. That being said, I’ve never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes (which is amazing for a walk-in service provider of any kind).

Fantastic experience: Overall excellent experience offered to trim my eyebrows without asking give me exactly the haircut I asked for have often had a good experience here have been to some other locations tommy guns not always a good experience

Negative experience: Do Not! Go here, before I could tell the obviously new trainee who could barely speak English what kind of haircut I wanted she had already got her scissors and shaver out before I had to stop her. After I gave her the picture of what I wanted she gave me a whole different haircut that I never remotely came close to wanting. Overall next time I will be taking my business elsewhere!
