Negative experience: Very unprofessional service. • There is no focus on work, the barber singing songs with her friends and focusing on cutting my haircut. • Felt discomfort the entire time • Stuff were swearing out loud during my haircut (I am 14 by the way) • The haircut is alright, buy I will not go back there again. • I do not recommend.

Negative experience: The guy who did my hair did not understand what a fade means. The sides are not even , the back is not even. He told me a fade is like a hat on top after I asked about it. It looks terrible and it's noticable . I'm not too picky about hair cuts either but this person should not be anywhere near anyone's hair. My sibling did a better job cutting his own hair than this professional place cutting mine.

Negative experience: Management seems to need an overhaul. Made an appointment, showed up for appointment early, was left standing around for 40 mins waiting for my pre booked service while I watched two female stylists play on their phones and the one male stylist comb his clients hair for 10 mins. What is the point of appointments if they are not honored? Worst customer service in a salon, and I've worked in a salon before. Walked out 45 mins later without being served my PRE BOOKED SERVICE.

Negative experience: I'm really pissed right now, it's been about a week since the haircut and a patch of skin on my scalp is really itchy, bumpy, irritated and possibly infected. The counters with all the equipment were clustered and some of the equipment looked like it had been used on prior client(s) and not sanitized properly after. The service it self was pleasant and enjoyable but the possible hygiene concerns alone will not be bringing me back, not to mention the fact that a service I paid for and expected to be done professionally will be leaving me with a medical concern and problem I'll have to deal with for foreseeable future, not recommended at all.

Negative experience: Kat used a dirty clipper and now I have over 20 bumps on my head and possibly will need to get my head shaved for effective treatment. I can't believe it really, too upset to even think clearly. Avoid this place!

Negative experience: By far the most ridiculous service I've ever received at any Modern Man. Genuinely laughable. 15 min skin fade that I'll pay someone competent tomorrow to fix. Tipped the "barber" $20 so she can buy some deodorant, the smell was lingering. Booked the appointment with the manager Jasmine but it definitely wasn't her and wouldn't want her anyway as she hires this nonsense. They have a completely useless online booking site that allows you to book a skin fade, yet when you arrive you get a person that actively hates her job and can't do a basic cut without complaining the whole way through. Honestly this "barber" should never be in a customer facing employment situation again. She was actively venting to her co workers about how she's so "over it" "not doing another skin fade today" trying to get another co worker to take her next kid cut because she couldn't be asked. Talking about a fellow co worker that apparently gets violent with people and discussing whether or not she'd date him. Bragging about how fast she was doing it and literally told her co worker "this is how much I care" I will never be returning to any Modern Man location. They clearly don't care who buys or runs a location. What a lousy excuse of a shop.

Negative experience: Worst Modern Man shop in the city. Terrible barbers. Awful management. Without the brand they would have no customers at all.
