Negative experience: I made an appointment in advance and arrived on time, only to be told that there was no appointment in their system. I was then asked to wait another 30 minutes, even though I had already rearranged my schedule and waited nearly two hours because of the original booking. I came at 11:00 specifically to avoid wasting time — unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Royal Kingsman Barber in Cairns. The shop has a great vibe, very clean, professional, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Special shout-out to Willis — hands down one of the best barbers I’ve had. He really takes his time to understand exactly what you want, pays attention to detail, and delivers a clean, sharp cut every time. His fades are on point, and his work is precise, and the overall experience feels premium, not rushed.

Fantastic experience: Willis was kind and really took the extra step in all regards to make sure I left with what I wanted. You can tell these gentleman Are experts in their craft. From someone who came in as a walk in they treated me with same regard as the locals who obviously knew that was the place to go for a cut. If I lived here I’d make this my frequent place for cuts no exceptions. Excellent customer service, outstanding vibes and most of all an unmatched haircut.

Negative experience: I scheduled a shift with an Italian Guy at Royal Kingsman wait the whole weekend for it, and by the time i got there the guy misplaced my schedule time, tried to explained this to the staff that was at the recepcionist and he was rude and “bro” me, i dont know how they cut hair in this place but customer service wise was a really poor experience, i wont recommend it going to this place ever again

Negative experience: Very unprofessional establishment and barber Marama Rio. Booked in 9am on opening as I had a very busy schedule. Marma was cutting a mates hair in my time. I waited 28 minutes before leaving due to my discuss that was my end time on appointment. Soon after I get a call and all they could say is sorry but not good enough.

While clients are required to book appointments in advance, it would be appreciated if we were notified of cancellations ahead of time. We all work

Doesn't seem to matter how hard or how easy your cut is, these boys will have you looking sharp, man!! I've been going there every 3 weeks for what seems like forever, and have no plans of going anywhere else.

Negative experience: You need to have lucky to get a good barber. I went 3 weeks ago and it's was pretty good, I went to say for the same simple haircut and it's was really bad experience. I tell him to cut a little more shorter the beard and he stop it and then charge me 65 when 3 weeks ago was 55. I really dont recommend this place

Negative experience: Really disappointed with the last two haircuts with Jason. Not going back. No style. 5 minute cut for $35 on a 2 year old. Could have done better myself and I've never cut hair before. First guy (and first haircut) we used at kingsman was fantastic. But won't risk it next time, I really hated the cut so much. Time constraints travelling for work, otherwise I would have gone back to complain.

Negative experience: 40min wait on a booked appointment. Hair unnecessarily thinned on the top, looked bald for 4 weeks. No styling. Probably visited on a bad day or barber tired and wanted to just go home.
