Fantastic experience: I had my hair cut for the first time (last week) by Danielle, and without reservation, I have to say how happy I was with her absolute level of professionalism and skill. She listened to my initial request, and proceeded exactly as I wanted. This is quite a rarity, because most don't, and subsequently the client is dissatisfied with the outcome. Fantastic experience: Just a walked in they were kind enough to fit me in. Was unable to get my beared saved but wasn't too stressed as they were grateful enough to squeeze me in. I have recommended the guys here in Sydney that I know if they are ever up there to go the website and booked ahead of time. Definitely worth the fade I got quality was top notch! Young kiwi kid did it had the Maori tattoo as well. 5 Stars!!!

Positive experience: Haircut was OK. I realised that some parts were longer than others when I got home. The haircut took less than 10 minutes so idk. It didn’t seem like she took too much time but she did the job. It was OK. The cheapest I could find in Cairns. If you are too fussy about how you want your haircut let them know beforehand.

Fantastic experience: This is a very cool barber shop. Quirky and friendly. But the best thing about it, for me, is because Vicky works there! Vicky is honestly the best hairdresser in Cairns! She knows her stuff and always gives me a gorgeous cut. Just let her know what you're after, and she nails it every time. Plus, she’s super knowledgeable and can give great advice if you’re unsure. On top of all that, she’s just a wonderful person, inside and out! When my local salon closed, I made so many calls trying to track her down because she’s the only one I trust with my hair! She does my kids' hair too, and we all adore her. Vicky is absolutely fantastic—I can't recommend her enough!

Negative experience: I remember when this place was once really good now it's how's fast can we get you in and out with a cut a beard done in 5 minutes or less looking very choppy not fadded well bits of beard missed and now charging 40-45 dollars was unfrotunate to see them go down hill

Fantastic experience: Good old barber shop. Quick, cheap. Staff there are always very pleasant and experienced in cuts. There is no wash or head massage or all the other stuff that hairdressers do. For people like me this is a perfect barber where you can just pop in without an appointment and get a quick cut. Love it

Positive experience: Friendly staff and an affordable price tag. Went in for a beard trim, but the lady I had did not know what she was doing with this particular beard style. Made me exceptionally nervous and ended up calling it short and fixing it up a bit at home. Still happy with the result, mainly because she didn't take offense when I pointed this out yo her and kept a cheerful attitude.

Attention to detail was lacking. When I got home, I noticed so many missed hairs. My wife had to clean it up. Quick and easy but if you want a nice fade, go elsewhere.

Negative experience: There is a certain female staff member, who usually opens the barber shop at 6am. She goes out of her way to ruin your haircut, then verbally insults you for questioning her ability to cut hair the way you have requested, very rude lady. Do yourself a huge favour and go else where, I feel for the customers who have had and yet to deal with such a horrible tyrant.

Negative experience: Took my 7year old son in for a haircut. The owner was on the phone as we were entering her shop and looked annoyed at us for cutting off her phone call. My son walks up and sits on the chair, then she proceeded to verbally abuse my son by saying quote "he's to Bloody short for the chair". I asked her for a number 1 fade all around with a comb over on top. She literally used a number 2 and didn't even fade it and left my son with a dam carrot top.Also left a couple bold patches She spent a total off 5 mins cutting my son's hair and didn't really care at all. Then she had the nerve to charge $18 for a rubbish job. I feel so depressed for paying it. She almost seemed racist towards me and my son. If you're looking for the worst place in Cairns for a cut, this is the place for you.

I was in and out in at least 15 to 20 minutes and it cost me for a men's haircut $25 which is better than all the tourist hairdresser rates around cairns. She is quick and highly experienced and super friendly. My hair actually came out looking like something from Hollywood.
