My barber went through and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and always in conversation this man not only gave me the best hair cut I’ve had in years but made me feel like I was always meant to be at that barber shop 10/10 would recommend GET YOUR CUT HERE !!!

Fantastic experience: Just arrived from the UK last week and got recommended by the people I’m living with to go here. I don’t normally leave reviews but just have to say John (jap) was my barber and after showing him what I wanted he gave me exactly what I wanted! Super nice and friendly guy, chatting with me the whole time. Will definitely come back while I’m in Australia P.s. I also came in with my uncle and cousin. John was also great with my younger cousin, great with kids! My uncle got a great haircut from Erin who was also amazing. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in cairns, don’t be afraid to be super particular with them as they are great, really worth it

Fantastic experience: I was a first time walk-in today, trying to find someone in Cairns who knows what they're doing. I was greeted warmly by a big French bloke named Nick. He sat me right down, I showed him a pic and he got started straight away. Very happy with the outcome, very happy with the service and a bit of non-PC banter. Plus I got a free stubby cooler with a nice message on the bottom for me to take home. Thanks Nick, I'll be back!

Negative experience: Extremely embarrassed by my hair cut. Now almost 8 hours later embarrassment becomes anger. I have a very conservative hair style. As a 60 yo I have had this style for 30+ years. Not shaved with a no 1 high on each side to the left part line and then a mop top on top. Nothing can be done to salvage this embarrassment of a cut, it has to grow out, and as a professional man, who takes a sense of pride I am embarrassed and angry. Great function to go to tonight, with a hair cut looking like a wanna-be 40yo trying to look young and trendy. Just not comfortable and will not return. The lady who had been doing my cuts for the past few months was brilliant and understood what I wanted, this one was not up to it, so my hair looks like it has been done by a work experience girl.

Seems from the reviews things may have changed back to the previous standards? *Went back recently and the English lady there gave a great haircut*

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service. Had head and face shave. Oil, hot towel and super close but not sore razor shave. Massaged, pores closed finished with after shave and talc. Not a single nic nor rash. Cannot recommend these lovely and highly skilled ladies enough.

Negative experience: Worst hair cut i ever had. I came here to have nice haircut before my graduation day but she ruined it. I mentioned the person clearly not to trim too much and i asked her to just shape my bread. But she made it really worst and for this worst cut she charged me $50. Waste of money and really bad service.

Let's face it, as a bloke getting a haircut is generally an inconvenience but at Bullsnips the staff are friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and what's better I actually get a haircut that doesn't look like someone has placed a bowl on my head. I've been going here for years & I've need had a bad haircut.
