Negative experience: Waste of money really

Negative experience: From my only experience there, they do not provide the attention to detail and skills a $42 haircut deserves. 2 star instead of 1 because they were at least friendly. Definitely not suitable for Asian hair. I’ll never go back.

Negative experience: Worst cut I've ever had.... asked if he could do a flat top ..he cut the sides and back for 10 minutes cut the front with scissors then proceeded to cut the top and side with free hand snips then used gel to push into shape lucky it still had basic shape as was cut 3 weeks earlier .,..... definitely not a flat top the shop is well laid out and stylish but the owner should screen his bar barbers......won't go back or recommend worst ever

Fantastic experience: Time and time again they fail to disappoint. From the haircut to the service to the atmosphere this is by far one of the best barbers in all of SA. They take real care in their work dedicating themselves to perfection. Overall 10/10 experience would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Gave simple instructions — number 2 on the sides with a low blend. Barber ignored it and went straight to a mid-fade, taking the sides shorter than a 2 and pushing the blend way too high. Looks like they only have one style in their toolbox, because that’s what I got regardless of what I said. Not the result I asked for at all.

Negative experience: My review a year ago was 5 stars but since then the hair cuts and customer service has been getting worse and worse each time I go there.

Negative experience: Easily the worst haircut experience of my life. I have been getting the same haircut for years at multiple different barbers. I gave the exact same instructions and I ended up with a buzz cut here at Uncle Gino’s. The worst part was, the barber was literally watching TV whilst blindly using scissors, clippers and a CUT THROAT RAZOR on my head. It wasn’t until I got home that I noticed irregularities in my hair and multiple small cuts on my scalp. The haircut was so comically bad, everyone from family to friends have burst out laughing when they have seen it. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Positive experience: Great haircut just not the one I asked for. I asked for a mullet since i had been growimg my haircut for 2 month and the guy gave me a low fade even though I showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted and asked for the mullet but just faded and cut my hair way to short because he just went lower and didn't saty consistent. Overall though great experience and loved the place but the guy just didn't understand.

Negative experience: Worst Haircut Experience - Completely Butchered I am writing this review with great disappointment. I recently got a haircut at Uncle Gino's Barber Shop, and it was a terrible experience. The barber did a very poor job; they did not cut my hair properly at all. I can still see visible scissor marks all over my head, and the cut is extremely uneven. Some parts are longer than others, making my hair stick up in different directions. To be honest, the final result made me look like a sheep that had been sheared. It was that bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please save your time and money and go elsewhere. Negative experience: I called before heading in to see how long the wait was and I was told it wasn’t busy and there was no wait. Upon arriving, I waited over 30 mins then had to leave as I was still 5th or 6th in line. It would have been well over an hour wait if I’d bothered. I certainly won’t be bothered going back

I sat and waited patiently for 15 minutes and watched one of the barbers stand around with no customer and when I made eye contact just look at me. He then walked out of the room And left me sitting still waiting for the three other barbers. This is the worst experience I’ve had .

Negative experience: My partner has been there 5 times now, the first 3 we’re good experiences and good haircuts but the 4th time he asked for a trim with short sides longer on top and they gave him a buzz cut, then this time he thought that he’d had a bunch of good experiences and he shouldn’t let one bad one chance his view of the place so he took a photo this time so they would definitely give him what he wanted and tried a different staff member but they gave him basically another buzz cut not even close to the photo. I’m not sure if they have changed staff or what but it’s been very frustrating.
