Fantastic experience: Was sceptical at first, being a mega shopping centre... It's hard to tell if it'll be worth it, or just another barber. I've been to countless overpriced barbers who promise everything and give the bare minimum in 5 minutes. These guys are not that, they give exactly what they promise and more. Great haircut, terrific service, free beer, good price, cash/card options, hot towel, straight razor shave... It's all here! Not only did I get a free beer, I was also given a hot towel for no extra... That's service no other barber gives.

Negative experience: Came in Tuesday with my nephew around 5pm, hair was done to quality standard and barber was very nice, however the new front lady disrupted my experience down, she seemed rude, arrogant to the both of us and didn’t talk with respect and seemed like she was mocking us, she made me wait several times and talked down to me in a disrespectful manner. Be aware of this lady she looked like she was in her 40’s and had an accent, she is the only one that has given me this service here, except for her everyone else was fantastic. Due to this I don’t think I will be coming again.

Positive experience: Decided to get my son a last minute hair cut. Walked in, booked an appointment time (11.10) and was told I'd also be a call to confirm. I received a call at 10.35. We were in the centre but just sitting down to a late breakfast. I had ordered and could not leave. The person on the phone said ok and hung up. So thst was that. No haircut. So I can't comment on that part as it never happened. Customer service could definitely be improved.

Negative experience: Did not get what I paid for or asked for, had strands of hair that was not cut, didn't get a razor fade let alone a razor on my head, ended up going somewhere else after for half the price to get it fixed and finally the razor fade finish, 61 dollars to get a cut and fade that needed fixing somewhere else for half the price In total it all was 96 dollars, I did enjoy the free can of coke I received though, that was nice

Negative experience: Booked a buzz cut for $39.90 through the app and arrived on time for my appointment. The haircut itself was done well and exactly how I asked, and the service during the cut was good. However, when it came time to pay, I was charged $54.90 — $49.90 for the haircut plus a $5 Saturday surcharge. This was never disclosed on the app or mentioned when I arrived, and I specifically booked a buzz cut, not an adult haircut. While I’m happy with the actual haircut, the lack of transparency around pricing felt a bit dodgy, especially for a first visit. Because of that, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Fantastic experience: First time going to TG’s for a cut and had the best experience, front counter ladies where lovely and i got in a chair within the minute of entering. Matt was incredible and precise and gave me the best experience and cut possible. his style and work is unmatched! the way matt and sam where both inviting within conversation and banter made me so comfortable and i left with a smile. outstanding experience. cheers!

Negative experience: Stood at the counter and had the two people behind it stand and chat while having a drink and ignore me. A lady who was sweeping came and helped me instead but then we asked about soap to go with a shaving brush, she had no idea. For a specialty barber, I'd expect someone who works there to at least know who to ask to help me if you don't know.

Fantastic experience: Took our 3 sons in late on Saturday and they fit us in!!! Treated all our boys like kings. And more importantly, all the haircuts were perfect. Great job Tommy Gun. We’ll be back

Fantastic experience: I came in this evening, with a booked trim and fade. I got greeted by an apprentice named Owen. Skeptical at first, I sat down and proceeded to get my cut. He was amazingly inviting and we had great chats throughout the whole cut. More importantly, he did an incredible job and tailored my hair to my requirements. I am in love with the outcome and definately will be returning. Great work, Owen.

Negative experience: I don’t know why the barber I had today even asked what I wanted. Did not listen (or a language barrier) and did what he wanted. After asking a number of times I walked out very unsatisfied. I would not recommend if the barber won’t listen….

Fantastic experience: Took my 4yo son into Moyses for a haircut. He made him feel very comfortable, kept him occupied with sponge bob on tv and gave him a fruit box which was a lovely little touch. Will be back for certain.

Negative experience: Where do I even start. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE FREE DRINK AND IPADS. They suck you in. It looks good on the outside but on the inside is horror, untrained barbers, and lots of them. This has happened to me before but with other barbers, but this one really puts the cherry on top. I asked for a modern mullet and proceeded to show a very clear photo of what I wanted. It must have been ignored; it's the only conclusion I can come to. I proceeded to cry on the inside while my fringe was being torn apart by these con artists. And don't even get me started on the back, a horrid sight. I haven't even got into the worst part yet; I am 15 and they charged me $65 dollars yes you read that right $65 smackaroos of my hard-earned cash that I will never ever get back. To say it was a scam is an understatement, it was worse than a daylight robbery. A ridiculous price for a crap haircut, even a blind person could have done a better job.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for years. The main reason is Shinji. She is an excellent hair-dresser/stylist. In a world of barbers where reaching straight for the clippers saves times and makes a salon more money, Shinji actually asks what I want and works towards it and it never fails. A scissor cut for men is becoming more and more rare and she is a maestro at it. Tommy Gun's is excellent in generally. I will always return here.

Negative experience: Old mate cutting hair had no idea. Rude ad 57$ for no joke 5min in the chair felt like I'd been taking for a ride. The lady at the desk was too nice to go off at over old mate been a tosser.

Negative experience: This is my second visit to Tommy Guns Barbershop Marion. I was charged $74.95, for a simple fade haircut, which is horribly high for an average haircut, and it was a terrible early morning experience for me. The haircut was originally $50, but I was charged 50% more as a surcharge after the haircut, which I was not informed of beforehand ☹️. Not visiting this place anymore and wont recommend.

Gentleman that trimmed my hair and did a beard style was sensational. Also, don’t know what you put in those hot towels but I was so relaxed afterwards!!!! I live a 5 hour drive away but come here to get a haircut. Keep up the great work.

Negative experience: All I wanted was a mid taper fade but what i got $50 bucks later was a butchered mess left with a bald spot and a sad excuse of a haircut. All my confidence is out the window and i look like a mushroom. Thanks.

Negative experience: Over the years I have been to 100s of different baber shops to find the best cut that I’ve been happy with while also being consistent, 3rd time trying Tommy guns and all I have to say is way overpriced for what you get and I feel like that try give your free beer to justify they price to haircut quality ratio… Barbers halfass your cuts, only had one barber there that took the time to ask me questions and make it work the money but beside that ONE time I don’t recommend this shop at all. Super upset with the service and really wish I would say otherwise. Think anyone would agree that if you’re paying $55+ for a cut it would actually be even and half decent .

Negative experience: I went there 4 times other have been great thus hairdresser named scarlet has done fantastic but I’ve just gotten my haircut I had semi long hair blowout taper looked really nice now went I book in so and so they call me over he asks what do I want I ask for a slight trim and .5cm off the fringe keep the bulk on top and back then as I sit down I asked for him to do point cut to add more texture he proceeds to do flat cut I’m not that type of person but I ask what he’s doing he’s like trust it will look good after the haircut I go in the bathroom look at my hair in the mirror and oh god I call my friend over he looks first thing he does doesn’t say hi he laughs and then I post my haircut into my group chat and I’ve never been flamed harder the comments foward as He had some pent up rage did Stephan hawkings offspring’s cut ur hair how is a barber blind and so and so this is not okay at all and I go again today and show the person behind the desk my haircut as she says oh my god I’m so sorry no offence it was a horrid haircut the fringe was uneven the back wasn’t blended at all but they did end up fixing the back of my hair and the sides but not impressed

Negative experience: Very disappointed in the cut, he just hacked at my son's hair, has missed sections, it is nothing like the picture he showed him, and at some point he was not looking as he was cutting the hair, I feel like he rushed it and took advantage of my young son not speaking up, also put product in and scrunched it all up so we couldn't see just how uneven and bad it is, really poor form, we will not return!

Scarlet did an aabsolute amazing job cutting his hear with no effort, was very calm and kept on talking and reassuring him that its ok. First haircut in YEARS for him to sit so still! We will travel the hour to come and see her in the future.

Negative experience: Haircut was ok, the beard trim was woeful, it was cut lopsided wasn't brushed properly. Avoid if you love your beard. I went back the following day to get my beard fixed and the lady at the counter said that I had a 30min wait. C'mon you have a disappointed customer and you want to make them wait??? After some pushing from my side, I managed to get in and have them try to fix the damage... Man... months of growing only to have it all thrown away... At a premium price too! My suggestion, go to a REAL Barber and go to someone who knows how to shape and look after your beard. A mistake I will NEVER make again. Edit - I fail to see how you contacting me about my visit is going to fix my beard.... THE DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE! what can you possibly give me or do that will make this better? - No sorry, I have learned my lesson and will be finding a Barber who is actually trained and experienced with men's hair. Oh and since you can only give a default cut and paste reply like you have to every other review, you now go down to a 1 star. You are not even able to provide a reasonable response, like how you give a crap about your customers and their hair. Business Fail 101.

Negative experience: I sent my son in to have a low fade added to a buzz cut he was growing out from a holiday buzz cut so that he’d look neat during the grow out phase and he returned looking like a 5 year old had hacked at his hair, it was honestly the worst I’ve seen a barber shop do and I have 2 sons who regularly get their hair done (not there thankfully). He was charged close to $50 to have this mess but as a 15 yr old was too timid to say anything. Luckily my daughter was nearby and she took him back in there and and a female staff member had to try and fix it up - super difficult when it’s so short so he’ll have to grow this mess out. Not happy at all and would not recommend.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would. After specifically asking if they do kids hair (to which they replied yes) we decided to get my little boys fringe and neck trimmed while my husband had a haircut. I wish I could rewind time and never ask because what he left with was nothing short of horrendous. The poor little boy has had his baby hair thinned at the back so he looks bald and the sides all cut up unevenly. His fringe is uneven too. I have never been that precious but I actually shed tears yesterday about this haircut and have woken up this morning still thinking about how sad I feel about it!!! This is not my little boys first haircut or anything- just the first HORRENDOUS one. I am mortified to be honest!! Not only that - I paid $50 for this!! And we were seen to half an hour after our appt time so spent ages waiting around.. I just wish I could rewind time and walk away. Never again.

Negative experience: It used to be amazing, it used to have good barbers and hairdressers, it used to be a decent price. Sadly now all new staff, never quite as good and when I asked where they went I was told “why would you go anywhere else, if they want to leave we won’t stop them”. It all used to be so good, but sadly not for me anymore. Have found better service, a better price and more friendly staff elsewhere. It didn’t have to be that way, but you left me no choice.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible service, not only were my hair cut specifications met perfectly but my beard was well groomed, and a soothing pre-shave and hot towel were also applied. The hair dresser was also very friendly and nice to talk to. Without a doubt the best hair cut I have ever had in my life, 10/10.

Fantastic experience: Had a lady called Courtney who I found out was Canadian and didn't know who Ned Kelly was (lol) This was my first time going there and I could say with out any doubt it was the best experience I have ever had at any hair salon..... I had a clean up of my beard and it was absolutely fantastic.... I usually thought Tommy Guns was some kind of posh salon but it was far from it.... As soon you are greeted to the very end truly marvelous service...... Was made to feel relaxed all the time I was in the chair.
