Fantastic experience: I was very happy I found the Elegant Barber Shop conveniently located on North Park Road near Hollywood Boulevard. It was very easy for me to schedule an appointment with a skilled stylist Svetlana. I have less hair than as a young man so cutting my hair is challenging. Svetlana skillfully and carefully cut the sides with a razor and then proceeded to skillfully do a scissor cut on the crown and front. I was very pleased with the look she achieved. The shop is clean and well spaced and all the stylists there are very friendly and patient. I highly recommend this shop

Marat is the barber that I choose 95% of the time, and he has always done an incredible job on my hair. Firuza has also done a remarkable job. I’m very picky when it comes to who cuts my hair - my last barber had literally cut my hair since I was in high school (I’m 40 now) and I only switched barbers because i moved. Elegant Barbershop has my full trust with my hair, and I have no desire to go elsewhere! Thanks guys!

My girlfriend and I agree that it’s the best fade I’ve gotten over the last 6 years across all my past barbers. They take walk ins but you can also call ahead and schedule an appointment. Firuza has high attention to detail so expect your cut to take 45+ minutes.

Negative experience: Made an appointment, arrived on time. Another customer had already just begun his haircut. Said hello, he asked if I had an appointment. I told him "yes", at 1145. He just continued to cut the other man's hair. Not a word about how I was the 1145. Don't think he even knew I booked an appointment. You never take a walk-in to bump a booking. Walked right out the door. No point in coming back. Reservations mean nothing here? Thats the definition of unprofessional. If he'd acknowledged me I wouldn't have left. There are plenty of other great choices in the area.
