Fantastic experience: Paula did an amazing job with my teenage son's curly hair. She was kind and personable and excellent at what she does! We have tried many places but Paula will be our new go to. If you have a teen that wants the trendy cut but as a mom want high quality this is your place.

Fantastic experience: Got cut by Roy and it’s easily one of the cleanest fades I’ve ever had. My hair is pretty wild and can be a challenge but Roy took care of me with no sweat. Legendary.

Fantastic experience: Barber shop is a great place to get your haircuts. I switched from one of the barbers in there and trust me, he did great work and I have no complaints but Paula caught my eye because of her attention to the extra care that she provides. Not only did I get a great haircut but the grooming after the service like hair removal from the eyelashes, ear., etc., is what sets her apart. Afterwards she adds an lotion to your face along with a face message was the cherry on top. I urge any of you looking for a barber that will give you great service from the neck up, you need to see Paula. She is wonderful and I am a client for life.

Negative experience: The worst haircut I have ever received, and not by a little bit. I went in for a trim, ended up with a whole new, unwanted, and hideous hair style. Not only was it awful looking it was horribly done. I immediately went somewhere else to have whatever could be done to save it.

Negative experience: I was a walk-in client a few days ago. I got a skin fade and a beard trim. The results and service was great, however, not even 10 minutes after the cut I was feeling a burning sensation on the back of my head and neck area. A few days later, I started growing a lot of bumps that were itchy and the burning was feeling worse. Now I have a lot of visible bumps on the back of my head that are irritating.

Fantastic experience: This Barber shop is just what I was looking for. Great vibe and an amazing cut. Paula took her time and gave me an amazing cut. She also trimmed my eyebrows and cleaned up my any little hairs on my ears and gave me a straight razor on my neck. The next time I visited I had her trim my beard. I was nervous, but she did an amazing job. I feel like I've never looked better. Thanks Paula!

She was great and I will be going back plus the atmosphere was good like you’re welcome home type of feeling! I have been there twice within the last two week and nothing but great quality. I will continue to go back and refer others as well because not only was my haircut great but the owner Amanda ensures you do not leave the premises unhappy which further blows my mind about this guy Gill complaining about his haircut when he had the opportunity to address his displeasure before leaving the barber shop. For one, I do not believe that was the case and two , I know Amanda and Paula would have offered him a refund or come back in to correct the problem which he never stated. To the Vining's barber team, continue to "do the dam thing" because I love the establishment.

Positive experience: Update: It seems Amanda is not currently available for haircuts. I am excited to return to this barbershop if/when she returns. The other barbers have been good, though Amanda is top tier and I hope she’s doing okay! On a separate note, I would encourage the new owner not to text clients late in the evening about rescheduling and instead do client outreach during the day if possible— I’ve gotten two late night notifications from Vinings Barber this past week and it just struck me as a little bit odd Original Review (5 stars): I’ve gotten two haircuts now from Amanda, and both have been great. She is very talented and personable and wonderful to chat with. She asked good questions to figure out exactly what I wanted, and the fade and beard trims were great! Love the vibes in this place, and definitely will be back soon! :)

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the haircut I received. This was less of a haircut and more of a hair hack job. It was uneven and poorly done — it honestly looked unskilled. If you’re offering haircuts professionally, it’s important to master the basics first, especially using scissors and trimmers. I’d recommend getting more training before taking on clients. Definitely not coming back. Done by Mr.Roy.

Fantastic experience: The service I experience was amazing. The three gentlemen that were working yesterday from 6 to 7 PM. We’re not only welcoming, but just great people to be around to have conversation with. I went in there, having very long hair and the barber who took care of me asked how I wanted my bangs cut. I told him I didn’t have bangs and instead of making me feel stupid, he educated me about what pains were and explained that men can have beans as well with long hair. We laughed about it because it felt silly to hear it out loud but everything I watched from the owners testimonial video on the website to what I experience was spot on. My beer trim tip and haircut came up to $89. But it was the most relaxing experience I ever had with getting myself pampered as a man. And just for the record, I’m a heavy diesel mechanic and I work in a dirty environment. So it’s nice to go somewhere and to not have to fit into a stereotype of a barbershop.

Negative experience: I will never give this place my money again. I sent my son there to get a haircut. They charged a child $40 for a damn basic line up. That was not good, I feel the barber took advantage of my son. This place is horrible for that. Over charge for a horrible service. I wish my son would have spoke up for himself. I blame me also for sending him there without me present. Never again.

Only thing I didn't love was the price (over 70 dollars) but I can't deny that the quality of the cut was much better than anything I've gotten before

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for just over a year and have had a couple of barbers, most recently Stanrico. I’ve always had a great experience here. All the barbers are friendly and welcoming and very willing to listen to what I wanted. Always leave with a great cut. Stanrico in particular is awesome. He’s meticulous and takes his time…a real expert at his craft. I really appreciate being able to schedule online thru an app and pay ahead of time. The location is great, right in the heath of Smyrna. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. If you need a place to get a reliable cut in Smyrna, don’t hesitate to come here.

Prices are reasonable and you can choose to pay/tip early, or after service, which is very convenient. Looking forward to my next trim!

Negative experience: I was given aaron as my barber. he asked me what kind of cut I would like. I stated I would like my ends cleaned up and a slight fade on the side of my head from a 1.5” blend into a 2”. Pretty routine day for most barbers. I requested a 1/4” off the top of my hair. I sat down in the chair with 5-6”s of hair on top of my head and left with a 1/4” on the top. the worst experience I’ve had at a barber shop. incompetent and did not listen to what I requested. the best part about my haircut is I was never facing the mirror for some odd reason until the end. let’s say he started the trim up top with my bangs and scissors and instantly took off all my bangs and that’s when I said stop. Do not recommend this barber shop to anyone

Negative experience: Supremely disappointed I came here for the first time today. I showed up to my appointment 7 min late and was still seated quickly with no delay. I was seen by Paula, she is brimming with sweetness and was attentive to my description of what I wanted. I even showed her reference photos from my previous cuts. But at the end of the day, I came here expecting a high quality haircut and I'm leaving disappointed and frustrated. Both left and right sides have uneven patches and my sideburns have 1/2” long flyaways. My sideburns look horrendous. I’m baffled. For $40, the overall customer experience was underwhelming and the results disparaging. I recently moved down to Vinings and was excited to find a new local barber. My experience here was far below the quality of barber I’m used to. Would not recommend to a friend. I hope the talent steps up their game for future patrons. Note: I sat back in the chair a second time after getting up and getting a closer inspection in the mirror. I wasn’t going to ask a third time for touch up. I still tipped my stylist and left without making a fuss. I'm not angry, just wholly disappointed. I went directly to another barber.

Negative experience: I made an appointment with Jake and arrived on time at 1pm and he was mid haircut with someone else. He said oh you’re going to be with Sharon. Well I didn’t make an appointment with Sharon. Sharon was with someone else as well, so ended up walking out at 1:15pm because what is the point of an appointment if you can’t be on time or with the person you scheduled? Very unprofessional shop. A complete waste of my time.

Fantastic experience: I was struggling to find a hairstyle after experience a lot of hair loss. I walked in vinings barber shop after trying five competitors around Smyrna. At that point I was ready to shave my head but Kenneth stopped me and gave me a skin cut fade that took care of all my worries about my hairstyle. He’s great for those of us who are introverted and aren’t as great at making small talk at the barber shop. He is an artist and his chair should never be empty. Truly thankful I found Kenneth and this amazing barbershop in vinings

Fantastic experience: I don’t usually leave reviews but this is one of those that I just can’t not leave one. Phenomenal establishment. I ALWAYS go to Kenneth. Perfect haircut every time. Great conversationalist and he really enjoys what he does, takes pride in it and strives for perfection with an incredible attitude. With that being said, I’ve worked with other barbers they have and have had absolutely no issues. Everyone there is superb, and I have no misgivings suggesting any of their other barbers as well.
