2 months ago Negative experience: We were 8 minutes late (called ahead) and were told 15 mins was the max before cancellation. That said, we arrived at 5:08 (so only 8 mins late) and within the time limit. my son was told that he couldn’t get the shampoo (though we paid for the whole wash/haircut). The hair dresser was curt to him to the point where he felt he couldn’t ask for changes to the cut. He was made to feel like he did something wrong and that there was a huge rush. The hair dresser pointed out that her next client was waiting (it was only 5:20). We like roosters and are repeat customers but for $45 (before tip) I’d rather you told me to cancel vs short changing him and making him feel bad.

Very rushed shampoo and conditioning, no hot towel, disregarded style requests and cut hair too short, didn’t ask if I wanted anything else or product.Lady didn’t give a damn. I came here because I didn’t want a typical sports clip/great clip experience and got worse for more money LOL

Great conversation, great personality. Really pampered my locks and goatee. Also there was no wait, clean establishment, relaxing. All they need is to add an old fashion or mojito with the cuts and its heaven.

11 months ago Positive experience: My appointment was with Kim who is listed as a senior stylist and you pay a little more for her than the others there. The appointment was quick and the cut was Ok but I did not get the feeling that the quality or level of service was higher than some cheaper places. The website advertises coloring services but when I asked her about this the stylist was not interested and dismissive saying that " the color we use washes out with each hair wash so it does not last". It seemed she did not feel confident about or interested in offering this service even though it is an advertised service and she was a "senior" stylist. I don't know why this is the case. Expertise and skill in coloring should be offered at a place like roosters especially by more experienced stylists since many men are interested in salon coloring and expert blending in of some grey to make it look natural versus doing it themselves at home
