Fantastic experience: Have been getting haircuts from Ian for the last 8 years. Never once have had a bad haircut!

Positive experience: Called in advance to see if they validated parking. I tried their automated FAQs system before talking to a human. It said wasn't reachable. The human was helpful and told me to come over, no need to make an appointment (this was around noon on a Tuesday). After parking behind the building and walking in, they directed me to re-park across the street. I paid in advance for a haircut. ~$61. The front desk attendant was friendly, easygoing, and strongly encouraged me to follow them on social, which I declined. I was seated immediately. The haircut itself was pretty good, considering I'm not great at describing what I want. I showed the barber pictures of a previous cut I liked. He followed that example for the sides, but when I hesitated after he dried it and asked how it looked, he asked if there was anything he could change. I asked him to take off another inch in the front, which he cordially did. They took their time, I was in there 45-60 min I guess. It's a casual, "eclectic" atmosphere with tool chests for clippers, a boom box playing background music, and employees' kids playing in the waiting area. One of the sweet little girls helped sweep up my hair :) My barber was happy to chat about city life, traveling, community, things I asked about. They recommended a couple breakfast spots nearby when I asked. The guy jokingly said the price of that recommendation was this review.

Negative experience: Leslie is a really good barber but the manager insisted I pay for the haircut and leave a tip before they gave me a haircut? Never experienced a barber do that and won’t be going back. Really strange. He then was really into the idea of following him on social media which I won’t do unless I really enjoy a place

Negative experience: I went here twice. The first time the barber was good but $65. I decided to go back one more time out of emergency reasons and the cut was ok. I can't justify $60 for a haircut. I'll go where I can afford. I make more than most, where is the other 90% of people going to get cuts for reasonable pricing? I'd like to know. Message me.

Negative experience: You know I should’ve scanned the reviews even before coming to this place and I would’ve noticed what type of clientele they want at this place. I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 because the barbers in the back of the barbershop always do a good job on my beard. Living in Midtown this barbershop is local to me and I’ve been here about 3 or 4 times just to have my beard shaped up (which is always done nicely) and have watched how I’m treated versus how other customers are treated. It’s always a weird vibe every time I step in there and customer service is not good AT ALL in there (at least to me, I’ve seen how outgoing they are with other customers). I walked in there today and heard one of the older near retirement aged barbers say something about needing security in the barbershop? I’m a very well educated black man who does well himself, I doubt anyone in that barbershop has anything that I would want or couldn’t afford. I Will never step foot in this place again, you try to support minority owned businesses and they always treat you like your presence is a bothering them.

Got a chair right away and got a super clean fade, and Kevin gave me a credit for the trouble with the initial appointment. Great haircut and I appreciate the business making it right.

Fantastic experience: Update: second visit I needed an emergency haircut AGAIN for my son and Eclectic Barbershop did not disappoint. Ian did a great job! This is a full service barbershop, they happily took my son as a customer, all of the staff were nice and friendly. The process of booking the appointment was easy and the owner was very nice, he also followed up to make sure we were satisfied. The price of the cut was very reasonable. The barber who cut my son's hair was nice and patient and he made sure he asked specific questions prior to the cut. The bathroom and the service area were clean. The location in Downtown Atlanta is good and accessible to MARTA. I highly recommend this barbershop.

We were always on the same page. The result was an awesome haircut that I love. Ebone also told me how to fair for my hair in the future as I go to college. The fact that she told me this unprompted shows that Eclectic Barbershop hires kind people committed to bringing ur hair vision to reality.

Negative experience: I went to this shop on Friday afternoon and I will never go back. They’re overpriced they charged me 55 bucks for my cut and 38 for a 10 yr old haircut. I wasn’t satisfied with neither one. His line up was crooked and the guy who cut mines cut one side lower than the other side. How he didn’t see one side was lower than the other side. This place is a ripoff plain and simple.

Fantastic experience: At the last minute, I made a call on a holiday; I don't know who answered the phone, but customer service was excellent. It's in a downtown shopping area. Paid parking is behind the building (a bummer). I checked in with an employee, Ian, who gave me a haircut. He was very cool and took the time to listen—a cool person. I'll be back. Appreciate it

Negative experience: Do not ever write a bad review on Electric Barbershop. They will never forgive you for what "They" did to you. RJ is the worst barber ever. He was very manipulative. I gave him a full description on how I wanted my beard and he gave me the total opposite. Deep down inside I know that he messed me up on purpose because, I'm sure word got around that I wrote a bad review for something that another barber did did to me over a year ago. These people have taken my money a few occasions and I always leave me with a bad experience. The owner has never once offered me a refund but, a few cut. Which I know will end in disaster. RJ knew what he was doing. Those barbers are literally masters. How you mess up a simple request? I'm never stepping foot in that establishment. There are other gay- friendly barbershops in Atlanta and Eclectic is not one of them.

First, I found the scheduling platform to be very user-friendly and informative about each service and stylist. Upon arrival to the shop, we were greeted by another stylist who checked us in. There was very little wait time and Bren did a great job consulting about styling and overall goals of the session.

Negative experience: A great place to come for a fade or a buzz cut - great job on those types of haircuts. For a scissor cut, I would hesitate. Jarett left me with an extremely crooked hairline in the front with a few strands that are significantly longer. If not styled in a precise way, it looks like I cut my own bangs. Especially at $65 before tip, I expect a solid haircut.

Our concierge Trevor at Georgian Terrace recommended Eclectic Barbershop on Peachtree in Atlanta. was only 5 minute walk from our hotel . Avra my stylist was amazing. She gave me a cute bob cut and blowout. Total was only $95. Service was amazing. Got to meet owner Kevin and he gave everyone free mimosas. great vibes and energy here. Highly recommend. Due to the high visibility of my career I often have to maintain a clean look. And as stated in my Google Maps review for another one of your staff...I trust very few with my brand. But today, I had the pleasure of getting my haircut by a new individual to your team, Avra Liverman, who impressed both in her technical talents and professionalism. She greeted me with the same usual warmth I've grown accustomed to with Bren, like seeing an old friend. That is exactly the sort of first greeting everyone should strive to achieve, including myself. The conversation helped to pass the time quickly, and for the first time aside from Bren, I had no improvements on a first cut with a new specialist. Kevin (barber) did a great job despite working quick. Definitely one of the few times I left a barbershop and liked my haircut better than before!

Fantastic experience: I'm in Atlanta for work and needed a haircut. I got probably the best quality high fade I've had in my adult life from Ty Underwood. The owner made the mistake of asking me if I like basketball and I proceeded to talk Ty and another barber's ear off the rest of the time I was there. I would go here regularly if I lived in Atlanta.

Negative experience: Went here a few times and was generally happy with the haircuts, pretty expensive but worth it. Came in for another haircut and paid $70 for a guy who smelled like he just smoked a joint and was fumbling all of his tools. Didn’t listen to a word I said and my hair came out looking uneven and horrible. Definitely make sure your barber is sober if you go here…

Negative experience: Called ahead of time before we took a Lyft to the location . We were told to come and that it would be $35 we did that . Spend $15 for a Lyft and another $15 back with no service . Only to be told they didn’t have any barbers available. Terrible business. Spend $30 for absolutely nothing

Wasn’t in the chair for more than 15 minutes and then he forced me to pay for a full haircut. Honestly pathetic that they would gaslight a student and then force me to pay

Dude has been cutting for years, real personable and just a great guy. I gotta say this is one of the best cuts I’ve ever gotten. Place is clean and professional. Negative experience: The WORST BARBERSHOP EVER! I went to this place a few weeks ago and the guy who did my hair looked and smelled liked he just smoked weed and without any proper consultation / questions, just winged my entire haircut. On top of that, this person didn’t bother to clean up the neck area or behind the ears. Just straight up winging the haircut. I had to go the next day to Scissors and Scotch and have them do damage control. My 2 cents - don’t go here. Just awful.

Negative experience: Worst barber shop in Atlanta. DO NOT GO HERE. They messed up my hair so badly that I had to buzz it all off since it looked so terrible. Haircut looked nothing liked the picture I showed the barber before the cut. Customer service was awful too. Whole place was unorganized and they do not care if you have an appointment you still are made to wait. If you value how you look at all do not go to this establishment.
