Fantastic experience: I have been here twice now and will never go anywhere else. As someone who has jumped around to a number of different barbers, it felt like no one could get my hair right. I have really straight hair and I felt like past barbers would either cut it way too short, not listen, or just have no idea what they were doing with my typer of hair. Thank God I found this place. I’ve seen Justin twice now and he has absolutely nailed it each time. Both times I gave him an idea of what I wanted and he just absolutely knocks it out of the park every time. Negative experience: I decided to try this place since it was the only barber open late on a Sunday, and the barber was really nice and welcoming. Unfortunately, the cut itself didn’t turn out great. I asked for a fade, line-up, and just a little off the top, but the sides were uneven and the fade wasn’t blended well. The beard line-up was also done too low on the neck instead of under the chin, and they don’t use a straight razor for clean edges. I paid $60 with tip, but honestly, it wasn’t worth it.

He is also very meticulous and careful, and has never cut me in the 8 months I have been going to him. Pricing is also reasonable - you get what you pay for. The vibes in the shop are also on point. It’s always busy as well, so you know the shop has a good reputation. The scheduling system is also top notch, meaning no sitting around waiting for a barber to open up. Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to First & Main. Nick was my cutter. He was absolutely brilliant. This is now the only shop I will be using in AZ. The space itself is very clean, modern and well appointed. It is just a really great place to spend time. I also met Ella, who had two clients while I was there. Each left looking twice as good as they did when they arrived. It is obviously that the owner is very meticulous when it comes to curating his people. They each take pride in their work and are at the top of their game. I personally will be working with Nick for as long as he is there. But I don’t think you can go wrong choosing any of their people.

We’ve been trying to find a good stylist for the last year and we finally (FINALLY) found a barber/barbershop that both he and I are fully happy with and confident in. At first I liked the look/vibe of the shop, but it quickly became a sanctuary for me. I booked an appointment with Justin and I have come here every other week since.
