Having moved here five years ago from SoCal, I've tried numerous barbershops but they generally just want to cut my hair very short, and I like to keep some length in it. Kathy listened close to what I wanted to do and keep some length, and she did a tremendous job cleaning things up and creating a great looking style for me. My wife absolutely loved what she did and I will be Kathy's loyal customer moving forward!

Positive experience: I've had 4 haircuts by 2 different people here over the last 3 years and all 4 have been mediocre. I have definitely had better haircuts in the area for similar price. I have curly short hair and every time I leave, I don't feel better about my hair than when I walked in. For $32, I was expecting more.

Positive experience: I had no issues with my appointment, timing, or the location and even my haircut looks fine, but it’s not what I asked for. I’ve been growing my hair out the last few months and finally got it where I wanted but needed some layers added in. I explained this but ended up losing at least half an inch everywhere. My hair used to cover my ears and now it barely touches them. The back “flared” out and now it’s a straight neckline. I would comb the side up and over and now it can only lay flat. I’m not sure if I’ll come back again in ~3 months when it grows back but if I do I’ll put MUCH more emphasis on what I want and hope it goes better.

My technician, Gloria, was very professional and knew her trade well. I had my beard trimmed and head straight razor shaved. I left a very happy man. I'll be back.

Negative experience: Not good. When I went in, my hair stylist seemed confused when I asked for a taper fade. I tried explaining (almost bald near the bottom, more color as you come up and blending it in). She seemed to get it and did a decent job but did not know how to blend the fade at all. Now that it is growing in, the part was not done well and I'm noticing the hair on the side of my head is far longer than I expected and the overall cut on top was much shorter than I asked for but once a little bit is gone, it is too late! Haircut didn't end up looking horrible which is why I gave 2 stars but after two weeks I am going to get it re-cut somewhere else because it isn't growing in well. Very friendly staff, I love the coffee machine, but the skill just isn't there, unfortunately.

Offers suggestions for my hair and always remembers that I get bumps if not wiped down with witch hazel or alcohol. Whatever she uses, I have never had the bumps. Negative experience: Don’t go here, staff are nice, manager who was cutting my hair was terrible. Didn’t listen to basic requests, didn’t communicate, very rude, etc. I had 6.5 inch long hair, I asked for 2 inches off, I left with 1.5 inch of hair length, a terrible fade (got a high fade, wanted a mid fade, and the clear instruction of what I wanted not listened to. EDIT: I saw the manager responded saying that she did only cut off 1 inches from my 6 inch long hair. She is LYING. Look at this photo. This is after 3 weeks of growing it back out. Clearly this is less than 4 inches. My hair still is completely different lengths all around. She gave me a random uneven frohawk, when I said to wait to cut the top. After I told her the mistake she said “it’s already cut off now what do you want me to do.” I get this same haircut with the same instructions, same pictures, every time. Never have I had this experience. Terrible response not taking any ownership and shifting blame, no accountability. Corporate needs to look at your response calling me an unhappy man. I came in there with very good spirits, shared a laugh as soon as I got in. Manager cutting my hair didnt even respond when I asked, “how’s your day been” in the beginning of the cut. What a manipulative projection. Causing someone to be unhappy, then blaming them for their reaction to your mistreatment. cashier saw it all. I urge the corporate team to review the footage and see what really happened. By the way, I said hair was thinned in march, got this cut 7/30, I think that’s more than a couple weeks. Also, you admitted it yourself just now, that I asked for a mid fade and got a high fade. I showed every detail of what I wanted.

Negative experience: The horrible job she did on my son's hair was uneven and so obvious and she didn't even see it. My son came home and looked in the mirror and when he saw the back of his head he cried.

Negative experience: I haven’t left a bad review before, however, this experience unfortunately warrants being shared. This was my first and last time going here. My stylist was pleasant but seemingly unskilled. I have been getting my hair cut and beard trimmed for many years and never before been left with physical signs of cuts. I’m not sure how she managed it but my neck has multiple scratches and cuts. I felt the discomfort in the moment but assumed it was just odd sensitivity, though admittedly I’d never felt anything similar anywhere else in the past. I did point out that something must have been wrong in her technique afterwards but didn’t notice how bad the damage was until I got to my car, fwiw. Hopefully they retrain their staff so this doesn’t happen to anyone else. As an added bonus, she forgot to trim my mustache until I pointed it out and didn’t actually clean up my neck hair in the front.
